It took 20 mins to be seen to our table which was empty anyways, then when we got there a further 20 mins until someone approached us so we didn’t eat and left. Bar service was great, would come for drinks but not for resteraunt as service was poor. Saw waitress on her phone in the toilets !!!!!!

We use the Village quite often but on this occassion the steak was pretty poor, very chewy and tough, not befiting an £18 cost. Would not choose steak again and would suggest better quality cuts are purchased.

We had a lovely evening with tasty food and a great cocktails. The live music was unexpected and very welcome!! The only disappointment was some members of the group were not able to order the food that they would have liked as the restaurant had run out.

We booked a table for six for a family celebration. The cocktails we ordered were well made and the food was very good. The table was spacious and we had a comfortable and cosy area to sit in. The waiter who served us was brilliant - very attentive, friendly, great with the children and knowledgeable about the food and drinks on offer. Thank you.

Bar man very unfriendly; barely raised a greeting and n services no us. Went there to eat. Waited 25 minutes after being seated before making our order. Food ok but over priced. Very quiet for a Thursday night and given my experience, I’m not surprised. A real shame as it’s a lovely looking pub and has been much, much better. Will not be eating there again.
