   Made a reservation a couple of months ago for the, “la petite chef“ experience at the top of the Marriott Marquis. Didn’t really know what to expect, but it was quite entertaining with a digital projection on the table. But the food was excellent, good portions, and the server, Dante and others were very personable. Great experience companies that high price tag you pay. One no you can’t  get your favorite alcoholic beverage because they do not have a full bar. Highly recommend.

   We tried Le Petite Chief experience. For the amount of money, it was not worth it. Wouldn’t recommend this. The show is a video projection onto the table. That was ok. The food however was what you would get at a wedding or large banquet event. Not worth it. Plenty of better options around.

   Each bite and drink was worth every penny. Attentive staff. Hours de Oeuvres to dessert and every bite in between with the wine pairings was excellent. Our party of 3 highly recommends. In fact, we have already recommended this experience to friends.

    The meal and experience was so great! The big bummer was that the show itself did not correlate directly to the meal. We LOVED watching the show and the little chef make the dishes, but for example, the dish the chef created for dessert was ice cream with chocolate, whipped cream, nuts and a candle and the dish we got was something completely different. The first course was similar to what he created. The second course had lobster in it, but the dish looked nothing like the visual. The entree was great and accurate! But I would say that is the only accurate dish on the menu that correlates to the show. I was a bit bummed about this considering the price. I did overhear a waiter say they changed the menu last week for a more spring forward menu, but if the menu does not match the show, then what is the point of the experience? The show was incredible and the food tasted great. It’s just a bummer they didn’t totally match up. And the staff was incredible.

    A very exciting venue at the View, great staff, very humerus holographic storytelling of our different courses, outstanding food!! Exceptionally great pairing of wine. Superb Champagne. A terrific evening for my wife’s 88 th Birthday!!

    The food and show were good. I think it just depended on which server you had as ours was only focused on bringing our food but not refilling our drinks. It seemed like other servers were more attentive to other parties even though we went for my boyfriends birthday. We saw other tables who had bread and coffee/tea after dinner none of which we were offered. So for $550 for 2 seemed a tad expensive for okay service.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our meal with Le Petit Chef in The View restaurant atop the New York Marriott Marquis on Times Square. It was fantastic! The innovative presentation by Le Petit Chef was entertaining and each course was truly delicious. Compliments to the human-sized Chef behind the scenes for the creative menu that kept my 23-year-old son and me happily guessing if the next course would be as good or better than the first. The entire meal was a delight and the friendly wait staff were very attentive. Merci beaucoup!

    Food wasn't great. The lobster was inedible. Desert was the best course. This is a pop up in an old restaurant that's going to be renovated, so the age of the venue is really showing. Finally, the price is about double what I would say is reasonable for what we got.

    We experienced Le Petite Chef at the View at Marriott Marquis. The food was good, the servers were nice. Wine pairing was so so.. Great kids menu. The View is in a pretty tired state, but was supposed to undergo renovation. The experience is extremely expensive, and even though it is fun, Im not sold that it's worth over 600 USD for 2 adults and 1 child.

    Disclaimer: this review is regarding Le Petite Chef, the immersive dining experience which blends video technology, animation, along with a tasting menu and wine pairings. Was concerned this would be solely paying for the experience, the fun of seeing the video projections created for the dining, but thankfully not the case. The service was fantastic and the tasting menu was well crafted and very delicious - every course was great. Mildly disappointed there was no drink pairing for the dessert course, but given the price it was all still an amazing value for what we got. Hopefully they will find a way to keep Le Petite Chef running in some other venue once The View goes back to its more normal mode of operation.

    Brought my family here to experience "Le Petit Chef". A wonderfully prepared and presented four-course meal with wine pairings and an attentive and courteous staff made it an evening to remember. Following our dinner, my wife and children want to come here every time we are in NYC, and I consider it possibly the best dining out experience we've ever enjoyed as a family.

    Great dining EXPERIENCE! But it is definitely more about the experience and fun if dining with kids. The food for adults is really good. The wine parings were delicious and went lovely with each course. However, the choices for kids while they are enjoyed by the kids are waaaay overpriced for what is essentially mozzarella sticks and chicken strips with waffle fries.

    First time at The View. Great experience from the reception that lead us to the elevator, to the champagne and hors d’ourve greeting to the four course meal and the waiter. It was truly spectacular. Due to the limited space, you can hear conversations of other guests. Otherwise, really great experience.

    The overall experience was amazing! The waiter Joe was great and informative. It was relaxing to get to the restaurant and not be rushed to be seated. They gave an opportunity to take pics, take in the view and eat orderves as you waited. The dinner was a great mix and experience on your pallette. A must do if in the city.

    Service was just ok. I expected at least to have more communication from server but felt like he stayed away from us. I also thought the videos were too short. I thought the show would be longer but it was only small scenes before each food was brought to us. Food was delicious but as far as the show it should of been longer to watch for that amount of money
