The View Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
This is the place to celebtate!
A superb view. Excellent food and so well presented.
Tom our waiter was service personified - he made a special occasion even more special.
Friends had made arrangements for our wedding celebration and all arrangements went off without a hitch.
The foie gras was delightful but the shrip cocktail a joy to behold.
Only order one side unless tou are in a group or really hungry.
This is a place to linger and soak in everything.
Lamb shank, crab cake and cheesecake were great. Added carrots as a shared side and they were terrible. Service was mostly good, but we had to refill our wine and water glasses. Very nice people though. Rotating on Times Square is hard to beat for ambiance!
This restaurant is truly exceptional. Our waiter was very friendly and energetic and had a good idea of what the food is and how to pair it.
The view was extraordinary, you could only see the light reflections of Times Square, but also all the way over to the Hudson river.
It was a nice and quite scene, not bothered by any other guests, and everyone is very friendly and polite.
There are quite a variety to choose from the prix fixe list, with a remarkable taste experience.
I would highly recommend this to friends and family.
I came here for the first time on a date for my birthday and absolutely loved it! The service was great, the staff was friendly & efficient, the ambiance was awesome and the food was remarkable. I loved the soft jazz music playing in the background as we dined. The scenic view as the restaurant rotated, was breathtaking. I would definitely recommend anyone to try this place, if you haven't done so already.
The foie gras was amazing. The venison was melt in your mouth perfect. Whoever cooked it should get a metal. The brussel sprout were delicious and I️ don’t care for them. The other veg that came with it was delicious as well. And the cherry cake basque was splendid!
Now some people might say the view could be a gimmick or whatever are wrong. No you can’t exactly get picture at night due to the glare but if you put down your phone you do get a wonderful experience. You can see Hudson River, the Chrysler building and a lot of other landmarks from the 48th floor.
Very pleased with the whole experience. Courteous/friendly and very accomodating staff. Excellent/varied menu options. Food was cooked perfectly, seasoned well. Presentation was spot on. Excellent views, great atmosphere. Perfect spot for a romantic dinner/special occasion. Destination spot if you are visiting NY.
We had dinner at the view on Friday, November 10. I unfortunately have a broken foot and was in a boot. Every single person at theRestaurant was accommodating- Not to mention kind. My best friend and I were seeing a show after our meal and our server was very good about making sure that we would make it on time. The view of Manhattan was breathtaking and I would definitely recommend to a friend...hopefully they will choose me to take with them!
It was really the worst experience we got when we went to the restaurant after we eat we get the bill already and then the server gave it to us when we saw it the service already put there tip in the bill because they told us that they have a standard as fsr as i know we have to choose how much will we give to them since I am also working in a restaurant I know what are the rules I was really upset what happened to us I hope the management will know about this. This is a very bad experience for us we won’t be going back there
We went as the poster advertising showed the Empire State Building- to which we couldn't see. We also went with the view that you could order a-la-carte, again no set 3 course menu for $89 each. We stayed, enjoyed the food it was deliciously outstanding. The service was a little up and down at times and at the end of the evening asked if was ok to add the 18% gratituity - I would have preferred they ask how much % or if I would like to leave a gratituity.
