it was Good time to stay there
Come out for a valentines dinner with my wife. A very beautiful place. Food service was great. Drinks are awesome. Will go back.
Excellence -would definitely go back. The view is definitely the view indeed. The food was awesome and the service was the very best
The device was great but the food was not good.
The View is okay, but not spectacular. The food and service was terrible.
The food, the drinks, the staff, the service and the ambiance were absolutely impeccable. It was a nice, romantic way to celebrate Valentine's Day. My boyfriend and I each ordered 2 drinks with our 3 course meal and the total was a little over $300. The experience alone makes this worth it as you slowly rotate around beautiful views of the city.
Fantastic service and overall wonderful experience.
The View was fabulous! The waitstaff phenomenal.. The buffet was the best deal in New York.. I highly recommend the restaurant in February
This was a New experience for my daughter and me, Great view of NYC, Food was delicious, customer service and waitress gave us an excellent service. I definitely recommend this place for special occasions!!
The menu for the kids are terrible, the food has no taste/flavor at all and they charge for kids food a lot. For a cavatini pasta $30. That’s ridiculous for a plain pasta for kids
Was a lovely birthday treat and a great view of the city, we were even lucky enough to see the fireworks for Chinese New Year going off over the Hudson. Lovely food and fab service.
Booked to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. Could not fault the experience and the waiting staff could not have been more helpfull. Their attention to detail is a credit to View.
The whole experience made my wife's birthday one never to be forgotten.
The view, the staff the atmosphere the appetizers were all just amazing.had the steak and it was cooked perfect but we were expecting more after how good the appetizers were.our server was really nice and as we were celebrating our engagement he gave us a glass of champagne each and a little cake.its is a little expensive but it is worth it for the whole experience.
Dinner is very expensive but not worth the price
The View had been recommended to me by friends who used to live in NYC. I was staying at the Marquis, so it was very convenient. But considering the experience, it would have been worth the effort to travel there from another location.
The food was great! Well prepared, tasty and the staff was all very welcoming and friendly! Our waiter, Samir, made sure to fuss over my two kids who were both celebrating birthdays. They really enjoyed themselves.
Finally, the views from the rotating restaurant just made for a perfect and exciting experience. I am so glad we decide to visit The View. We will return on our next trip to NYC for sure!

Samir made the experience completely worth every penny. The food was good and the atmosphere was fabulous but our server, Samir, was amazing.
Went for Sunday brunch to kick off my daughter’s 25th birthday celebration and the entire experience was Amazing. From to the food to the service to the view. We were made to feel very special. Absolutely looking forward to going back.
Awesome ambiance, service and food ,revolving and overlooking the view of the city. What a great experience! We had a great time! Highly recommended.
The bill doesn't add up to the experience. The room rotates and you have columns blocking your view. Really bad reflections from upstairs and the floor your dining on in your view. The filet was avg at best. The side were not tasteful at all. 300 plus down the drain.
It was great. A private environment where you can see Manhattan and Times Square perfectly. The food was excellent and the service exclusive.
Very nice - service was good, but could have been a bit better for such an upscale restaurant.
Spectacular VIEW!! Service was outstanding... Reeta was delightful!
The food was great....I would not recommend the Salmon, but other than that we would return!
The food, the service and the drinks were excellent but the view was spectacular I highly recommended this restaurant It was great experience we had
We had a nice dinner. The waiter was very slow. It took 3 hours to complete dinner. Food was average. If I hadn’t asked for the check I’m not sure it would have been offered.
View can’t be beat.
Good restaurant for Birthday event! the view is beautiful! I recommend it.
Excellent food and service.Every dish was prepared perfectly.Just another reason to stay at the Marriot Marquis.
The view of the restaurant is amazing. Especially when we arrived at about 6pm, we got a chance to catch the sunset! However, the food is just okay for such a fine diner, nothing special. Meanwhile, both desserts, Chocolate Sphere and Green Apple, were not even near expectation; the taste of both of them were too overwhelming to be a delicious dessert.
The service was great, my waiter was a pro. The view of the city was just ok, as was the food. $90 for a three course without any alcohol. I got surf and turf (additional $23) and one glass of wine (wife is preggers) total after 20% tip was $310. The food and view was just ok to have cost that much.
The waiters handled my table just right. They didn't hover and bother us, but they checked on us several times. Drinks and food were tasty. Dessert was fabulous!
I went during restaurant week. The food was delicious. The views make it totally worth it !
Went for restaurant week. It was great we didn’t have to actually ask for the restaurant week menu because it was already inside of the normal menu. Was seated by the window which was great! It was a nice experience.
A little on the pricey side but the View, ambience, serivce and food was worth the extra bucks!
The view, even from the table close to the windows, is not so special. Food is ok, while the location looks old fashioned and timeworn.
Went for restaurant week. Definitely worth it to go if you've never been. The food was good but I have to say you're paying for the experience.
Great service and great views. Definitely must do at least once.
Stunning view, amazing experience. Lovely food but kids menu limited and expensive. As a result she ordered off the adult menu.
A purely New York experience, to see the city at night, revolving as you dine! The food and service were excellent, desserts were a bit over the top, but everything else was first class. I had a delicious appetizer soup, a curry coconut crab chowder, velvety smooth with big chunks of crab meat. Superb
We went for restaurant week and the food was absolutely delicious. We sat near the window and was able to see the 360 degree revolve around the city. The staff were very nice and attentive. I didnt feel rushed when eating. The lobster mac n cheese is a must try as well as the cheesecake.
