I've dined here twice- the first time was perfection - an anniversary celebration - the food, service, attention to detail from wine pairings to delicious food made for a spectacular night. The 2nd time the food and service were still excellent. My only complaint was that the meal felt a little rushed. I like a slower pace, I ordered 3 courses all from starter menu - they came out quite quickly one after the other. For fine dining with a big price tag- I feel there should be a slight pause between courses. That is just my personal preference. It did not ruin my evening - and service and food did not dissappoint. In fairness we were 15 minutes late for our reservation. Not sure if that had an effect on the kitchen.

We went for my birthday dinner. Service was impeccable-I appreciate when servers serve from the left, clear from the right! The food was excellent, I had the apple butternut squash soup and the fillet which was cooked perfectly. Would highly recommend.

Very nice special occasssion restaurant with beautiful views of Mirror Lake. A bit on the quiet side - great if you like that. Live music next door in the bar. Definitely recommend.

It was our wedding anniversary. Ben our waiter was wonderful. He made the occasion even more special with his thoughtful touches. The view is amazing and the food was Devine.

From beginning to end, this is one of the most delicious and well-crafted meals you can have anywhere, not just in li'l ole Lake Placid. I live in the same town as the Culinary Institute of America and I've never had anything there that tops the food here. Gracious service, too. It was my friend's birthday and they not only wrote Happy Birthday in chocolate on his dessert plate, but they also took a picture of us and put it in a decorative cardboard frame for us.
