The Victor Cafe Ratings and Reviews
This restaurant was recommended by friends who used to live in the area. Our experience tonight EXCEEDED our expectations. Great service and the talent is amazing. I almost broke out in tears! Our server Brenna is full of talent! We wish her the best! The food was delicious. We had the buratta and two vegetarian pastas...very good.
Great experience. We recommend this highly.
We loved the Victor Café....the lounge on the second floor was very romantic with the candlelight and couches and the food was delicious. The best part, of course, was the amazing wait staff who sang opera every few minutes. It was probably one of the best restaurants we have every been to.
First time dining in this fine restaurant.
Great romantic cosy atmosphere.
Live opera, not an opera fan, But loved it.
Great live singing for about 2 minutes at a times.
Fantastisch italian cuisine, strong fresh flavours.
Good service, with friendly personal touch.
A must go for fans of great food abd Rocky fans ( Adrian 's restaurant in the movies )
Will be back Some day from the Netherlands

Please contact me if you have something to remember Adrian s i am from holland. And i be here till wednesday.
Such a great place. They were very accommodating as I was dealing with difficult friends who ended up bailing, but I went anyway. They were understanding and so pleasant to deal with. Alexa, one of the owners, came up to my table and struck up a conversation as I was in town for the Rocky Run. The food was all fresh and delicious, as was dessert. The singing took me a while to get used to, but once I did, I loved it. I will definitely be coming back next time I'm in Philly!!!
The staff and the management are the most generous and kindest people you will meet - AND THE FOOD IS AMAZING! Do yourself a favor and reserve your table now! If you like Opera music the wait staff sings every 10 or 15 minutes. The Victor Cafe has that old world charm and - it was also used as a filming location for Rocky Balboa and Creed. I've been to The Victors dozens of times and consider it my favorite place to eat in Philly!
Victor Cafe is amazing! Not only is there scrumptious Italian cuisine with imaginative specials (not just the basic dishes), but all of the servers are classically-trained opera singers! Every 20 minutes they ring a bell, and a server sings a beautiful aria. Sometimes they team up for a duet. They do a great job of explaining the song to you ahead of time to set the stage, so even though they are usually not singing English, you can understand the emotions being conveyed in the song. This is wonderful live entertainment at no extra charge! They don't overprice the food to compensate the performers. This was definitely the most memorable meal we've ever had in Philly!
The high point, of course, is the singing. In the time we were there for an early dinner, we heard three arias and a duet, and they were all really fun and the singing was of a high caliber. The food isn't cutting edge haute cuisine, but the traditional dishes were all well-prepared, the ingredients used were very good, and the service was excellent. Recommended.
Such a unique and authentic experience. This was our second time and we can't get enough of this place. It is such a fun place to bring friends and family. The first time I went, my food was average, but the second time it was excellent. Either way, totally worth it for the fabulous experience. Highly recommended!
