My gf was disappointed with the Md crab soup. It came out below temp, had no proper soup spoon, and had a different texture than normal (as if cream were added).

Front of the House - Rock solid. Rodney and Patti had their “A” Game with them and both make a difference. Wait Staff - Stephanie - professional; menu knowledgeable; assists; and make the experience very positive. Meal - Steak salad - medium rare; no dressing; and no fried items. Seasoned meat; nice presentation; and fresh salad items. I still would chill the bowl. Renovations - 3 weeks of a 6 week process - completed. The excitement to see what is behind the wall is building!

General - Renovations are a welcomed ongoing requirement. Some of the guests may find them a challenge; however, what appears to be developing is a wonderful improvement. Front of the House - Ambassador Patty - always on her “A” Game. Patty welcomes you each visit as if you are the only person in her busy day. Always makes you feel special. Always makes you part of the Atlas Restaurant Group community. Wait Staff - Monica - helpful; menu knowledgeable; responsive/attentive; and professional. Menu - Steak salad - medium rare; no dressing; and no fried items. Consistent lunch time menu item.

I ordered a Crabcake sanwich. The roll fell apart. The french fries were a little weird. Very hard and crunchy, maybe they were pre-frozen. My wife got Chicken Parm and the spaghetti sauce was very salty. Not a great value.

Sat outside. Mistake. Too much traffic noise and music/noise from outside bar area. Although the food was good, the atmosphere outside detracted from it.

Hate leaving a bad review but Might be the worst restaurant experience I’ve had. Unfortunately can’t speak on the food cause we were seated for an hour and never served. Servers waited on all tables around us but never looked our way even why trying to flag them down. Ended up leaving cause of the fact and when leaving the manager didn’t attempt to fix the issue just said “hopefully you come back”.

I want to love the Valley Inn, but I just don't. It is 'fine', but I think could be much more. Our waiter was very personable and helpful, but the reason I didn't rank service higher is because the runners brought out the food. The timing wasn't great - plopping down entrees when you are still eating an appetizer. Not asking, "Shall I keep this warm for you in the kitchen for a few more minutes?" just plopping it down. (Food came out lukewarm too). Also, I wish restaurants would train their staff - runners should know who gets what dish. They shouldn't have to ask or put it in front of the wrong diner and we switch plates. This isn't TGI Fridays. The restaurant is big and different rooms have different character. We were in the back and if feels pretty basic. And rather loud. The menu could use a few more vegetarian options as well.

Front of House - Patti with only a small fan for air movement - greets you with a welcoming smile. Always at the top of her game and representing the Atlas Restaurant Group brand. Wait Staff - Stephanie - professional; attentive; menu knowledgeable. Meal - Solid lunch menu item - steak salad - medium rare - no fried items. Steak is prepared to the requested temperature and evenly seasoned. Other ingredients are fresh and round out the meal. I would recommend temperature testing the bowl storage area. Bowl temperature is more ambient versus chilled. Renovations - active and ongoing. Consideration is given to the Customer experience; however, it is a renovation. The post-renovation effects are anticipated to be spectacular - a fresh reopening may be in the making.

I had the Steak salad which was delicious. I substituted the Blue cheese for Feta and that was not a problem. Definitely will return.

Ambiance was great, food average. Nothing wrong with the food just tried a variety and nothing I would come back for. Feel like I'm seeing that a lot with Atlas group. Great ambiance but average food. A little disappointing as the goal should be the complete package consistently. Otherwise it's only a hotspot temporarily.

A large and loud table came into the room. We were pleased that they weren't satisfied with their table and moved. Otherwise (and it has happened before) the noise level really ruins the atmosphere of enjoying the dinner.
