   A friend and I recently chose UPH for lunch, and it did not disappoint. I ordered the tuna tartare with the arugula salad and sort of made my own poke salad. My friend got the beet salad, which is always a winner! The ladies beside us each got the open-faced brisket patti melt, and they both raved (and had plenty to take home) Alyssa was our server, and she was most attentive and delightful. I wish UPH opened for lunch more often! I will add that the music was a tad loud to hold conversations. We'll definitely be back!

   We waiting to order already about 15 minutes then we ask could we go ahead and place our order pretty much the service was not good, had keep asking for refills on our drinks….but the kick was she chase us out the door yelling One of y’all didn’t not leave a tip! After my daughter got out the car and tried to ask her what’s the problem she kept yelling that’s not cool that’s how I make my money . My daughter gave her money on top of the money she and I had already tip her. But when you don’t give good service !!!! Why you feel the need to chase people out the door. I have never seen anything like that before!

    Overall a nice evening. Very good drinks, mostly great food. The only misses were the shrimp that was supposed to be grilled but were flavorless and the mac and cheese and collard greens were just good/ok. But otherwise a really great place!

    The apps, drinks and service were fantastic! Our table tried 3 appetizers and 5 different drinks and all were so good. The main courses however weren’t great. We had the burger, red fish and pork butt. They were just ok. Next time we will do all appetizers and drinks!

    One of the top restaurants in Pensacola. Craft cocktails are always great. Food is wonderful. We always try to get Anna as our server ... none better than her anywhere!

    My girlfriend & I celebrated our one year anniversary last night at The Union Public House, & it was outstanding. We were greeted, & seated right away. Our waitress Gillian was so sweet, & personable, as well as the other waitresses that ran our food. The bar was quite busy, so we waited on drinks for a little while but it was no issue to us, because the ambiance was very nice! My gf doesn’t drink alcohol but was very pleased to notice a Mocktail menu, which she ordered from! Everything from the drinks, appetizers, & entrees were an absolute amazing experience. We both agreed that we’ve found our new favorite restaurant!

    Waited a bit for 2nd round of drinks. The food is priced high for what you get. Not the best food I have had so I probably wouldn't go again. If you just want a drink probably a nice place to stop.

    We had a group of 5 that met for dinner prior to going to a show at the Saengar. The service was great and the food was delicious. We didn’t have time to stay for dessert but I’ve been told the cranberry crème brûlée was incredible.

    I can’t say enough about how much I loved this place. The staff, cocktails and food were creative, unique, and absolutely delicious! The Duck BLT could be one of the best things I’ve ever eaten!

    My husband got the pork shank and said it was his new favorite (it used to be the brisket). He said the pork was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, plus it fell off the bone. I got the vegan dish of the night which was a mushroom risotto, shisito peppers, kale salad, and I got blackened tofu with it. The risotto had too much of some type of red sauce surrounding it and underneath the risotto it made the risotto inedible to me. Everything else was fine though.

    I hated to rate low but I had to be honest. The food was very over seasoned and warm. I was so disappointed. I had the pork shank and it was like a crispy piece of old dried out meat. The service was good and bar drinks were delicious. What is annoying is that when you take the time to make a reservation and you’re seated in a broom closet. Why bother. With so many new restaurants in town please step up your game. We will be taking a break for a while and hopefully when we return it is great food that we first ate when we tried this place.
