Great place to host a family dinner, good variety on the menu, all the food was delicious.
Had the seared tuna. Very good. Calamari one of the best I’ve had. Tomato basil soup to die for (not always on the menu). One of my favorite restaurants
Love the food and the bottomless mimosas.
Our first time in Union Kitchen and we had a good experience. We went for brunch and will be back to try dinner menu and other options. Recommend this place is it cozy and quiet with nice decoration, good service and tasty food.
Union Kitchen was OK but not great. We had been there previously some years ago and had a favorable impression. We made a reservation for 630 on a Friday, arrived about 625 to a mostly empty restaurant. The hostess immediately escorted us to a table right by the bathroom along the walkway for the waitstaff to get to the kitchens and wait stands. Not a good start. We politely asked for a different table, and were "graciously" permitted to go to another. Our waitress was very attentive, and provided excellent service. Menu has appealing options, but execution thereof was somewhat wanting. A caprese salad covered an entire dinner plate with mesclun mix - no basil -and three slices of beefsteak tomato and chunks of mozzarella. A different take, for sure. Entrees were neither bad nor great. Wine list is good with nice options by the glass. All in all, OK but not as good as we remembered.
We all enjoyed the appetizers and main dish. We had been here before, foo dis always good. Service was excellent, Melissa was our server and she was accommodating and understanding, seven ladies that haven't seen for a while, so she wasn't rushing us at all.
The food was very good and the white-tablecloth dining room is lovely and strikingly handsome and simple. We sampled lots of dishes and everything was lovely with beautiful presentation. Service was good and there was practically no wait at all for our food. We had cocktails and wine and were pleased with both. We’ll be back!
My son-in-law came in from Dallas and wanted really good French Toast, when it arrived the outside was not crunchy and the inside was soggy. He was very disappointed. Both my husband and I had Eggs Benedict, our eggs were cold and the hollandaise was probably from a packet, it was not creamy and it was very bitter.
Exceeded expectations. Friendly greetings, waitstaff. Charming prsentation just like the chefs of New Zealand .
We always look for some place different for Easter Brunch. We'd been to UK once, but it was a long time ago.
Seated immediately. Menu had something for everyone. Loved the donut holes!
Only complaints are took too long for mimosa refill and for extra cream for the coffee. But it was extremely busy, of course.
I highly recommend for a nice laid back meal.
I’ve stopped trying to convince myself that I enjoy eating here. It is very loud, and with the tables crammed so close to each other, it is not a good dining experience. I ordered the chopped salad, which was basically a salad with sliced lettuce, not chopped. My friend ordered eggs Benedict, which she said was fine. I think the staff is stressed out, trying to maneuver between tables. Sorry, but true.
Easter. Wide variety to chose from, Easter menu , brunch and regular menu. Service was fast and food was excellent. Will return
Excellent brunch. Loved sitting in the "wine room"
We so enjoy a relaxing meal and the menu is very diverse. The prices are reasonable as well. Unfortunately, we had a table with several children there and they ran around being children in the area. We were outside so it was casual, but not relaxing. We really enjoy the acoustic guitarist that plays on Saturday nights. The wait staff was awesome, friendly and efficient. Usually our food is great, however this evening the kitchen was a little off. The calamari was not the same and smaller portion. Also the grilled broccoli was more burnt and very bitter. I'm hoping our next trip will be back on track. We'll definitely give it another try.
I enjoyed this new location. I normally eat at the one on Ella. My order wasn’t cooked right the first time (I asked for eggs over hard & it came back runny twice), but it was fixed and the waiter was nice.
Great food, attentive service, nice atmosphere.
Very friendly staff. Attentive service. Great atmosphere to relax.
We had a double celebration at Union Kitchen and everyone was so impressed with the food, the service and the ambiance.
Service was wonderful, attentive enough to take care of our needs but not intrusive.
Everyone liked their food. We all had one variety or another of the Eggs Benedict. It was nice to have a variety to sample.
I just relocated here from Michigan and by far this is the best surprise to date. My waiter was so awesome. The customer service which is a great per peeve of my was impeccable, the atmosphere was lovely and the menu was a foodies dream. I had to call my family back home to tell them about the Frito Mac and cheese. Now I have to bring my husband. THANK YOU for a lovely lunch.
Wonderful diner with family. We really enjoyed the live music!
Service was very good, and so was the food.
Relaxed atmosphere and really friendly service. Grilled shrimp salad, goat cheese pizza, Tyler's chicken and smoked salmon club were all great! All of the desserts were tasty but the cinnamon bread pudding was the hands down favorite! Will come again!
Went with another couple. One of us ordered the Short Ribs which we were informed they did not have that evening and then had to choose another option. We sat outside where there was a live singer/guitarist who played nice music that was not too loud. I ordered the Cajun Chicken dish which was a little on the greasy side, but otherwise tasty and spicy.
Yummy steak and arugula salad, 1 bite of chocolate mousse cake turned into about 10. Going back tomorrow for more!
We went on a Sat nite. It was crowded, loud. Our server was stretched too thin. Food only average. Would not go back or recommend.
Food was barely warm, which is unusual-manager was concerned-has nice decor
Loved the atmosphere, wait staff was very friendly and food came out very quickly. I was not over the top impressed with my meal but I would go back to try a few other dishes.
Great place to meet for a late dinner or lunch. The Hamburger is special but everything I tried was good and will try again. Good value.
Great food. Great service. A little crowded the way the tables are set up but everything else was great.
The food was ok. The table service was good. But the hostess needs to be retrained.
Union Kitchen has always been a Repeat place for us. The food is consistently good. And I love their REWARDS program subscription you can buy.
Was crowded and loud so I am glad I requested a quiet corner in the back. Good menu. Good service and food. Priced slightly above average for similar restaurants. Not disappointed by anything. Good neighborhood restaurant in strip mall.
Brunch was delicious! I eat low carb and they were able to accommodate my request to switch potatoes for steamed broccolini.
Awsome as usual!!
Food was amazing! Service was outstanding!
My experience at Union Kithchen was good, the food was good , service was good the only issue is they sat me outside at the windows next to the inside diners and it was a bit awkward with only a piece of glass between you and the inside diners for both of us. Wish they had music more nights a week though.
Valentine’s Day dinner. Great food. Good wine list. Server was very pleasant but not very well trained.
We happened to book this restaurant because we had to be somewhere near by and boy were we pleased. It was Valentine’s Day and they had some fabulous specials. We had the surf and surf which was delicious. And then the chocolate basket for dessert which was amazing. The first thing I did when we left was to look up other locations because I will definitely return. Luckily they have one near our new home. Can’t wait to try it.
A wonderful venue. Good food and really great service. Well priced as well.
Had excellent special crawfish etouffee.
