Had a nicely suitable wine list, reasonably priced. Food portions were not oversized. My salmon was very nice but the potato... cold. Good Bread, Great Crab Cakes. My only recommendation would be to revisit your dessert offerings. Good ambiance and a nice place to go. Our waiter Able was pleasant and helpful. We'll be back.

The wine was excellent and the price for wine & selection is the best I’ve seen at a restaurant around the northeast side. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are a wine lover. The food was great too!

The food was sooo good! So was the service. The only complaint would be that it was way too cold in the restaurant.

Great Food as always and excellent service. The restaurant was packed so the kitchen ran a little behind but the muffins being constantly refreshed helped tide us over. Overall great experience. Recommend grapefruit mimosas, delish.

We had a lovely evening. Abel looked after us and did a superb job. He seemed to have a couple of tables with generally disgruntled customers but we certainly had nothing to complain about. Our food was excellent, drinks were plentiful and the service was on the spot. We are looking forward to our next visit.

For our first time visit it was very disappointing. There is no control over dress code or children running loose. Atmosphere was very nice and service was good. Thought it was going to be a very nice meal. Then we realized we could have gone to Chili's or Applebees and sat across from someone in t-shirts and sweat pants. Or Chucky Cheese and watched kids play on the floor and run around. Paid $28 for a rib eye which was more like a cheap sirloin with a lot of fat. Could have paid a lot less at Texas Roadhouse across the parking lot. We expected more and had heard better. May or may try it again, could have been an off night. Overall disappointed.

This was a family get together. My sister recommended Union for an upscale dinner while we were visiting. The inside of the restaurant is nice. On our reservation we asked to be seated in a particular room. That didn’t happen. Drink we’re good except my husband finished his tea and the waitress filled it with water. Calamari was ok, scallops were ok, stuffed shrimp wasn’t my favorite, and the steak looked good. Unfortunately on the steak it came with a certain type of potato which someone else also got but since he order a side of Mac the waitress assumed he didn’t want the potato. Which is a shame since I think food wise the lyonnaise potatoes were the best tasting thing we had at our table. And I don’t usually like those potatoes but these were delicious. Almost every one ordered the creme brûlée and 2 were extremely over cooked. (They were taken off the bill) overall it was an ok dinner. The biggest problem was the waitress was very hard to understand and very busy. Food didn’t take long to come out so that was a plus. I previously worked in the restaurant business for 15 years I know what it is like to be busy and everyone wants something. I think this would be a great place to go on a slower night. We went at prime time which doesn’t always reflect what kind of food and service a restaurant can have the majority of the time.

Brunch was delicious. I had the California Benedict. The eggs were prepared just right. My friend had French toast and she thoroughly enjoyed it as well. We both had the refreshing mimosas. Our waitress was friendly. We will be back.

I would say it's definitely nicer than casual dining so be prepared for that. The food is good, it isn't so loud you can't hear yourself or others. Would definitely go back. Wait staff was also very kind.

Our waiter was wonderful. Personable, attentive but not overly. Had to wait a good while even though we had made a reservation in advance. Loved our table: out of the way in a little alcove with only one other table, made it feel more private and special for our date. We were very happy with the menu and food.

Really let down, the service was slow. When the food came out, the food was almost too cold to eat. I almost sent my meal back to the kitchen, but it took so long to get the food I did not. My wife said she experienced the same thing. The food was presented well. The caprese salad was quite good. But overall for the price, and we eat out a lot, to quality ratio was not there. We have eaten there before and did not have issues with the service, but other friends have said the same thing about this restaurant, it's hit or miss.

Thanks to a great server, Maddie, the night was saved. However our New Year's Eve 7:30 reservation for a party of 5 was not honored until after 8pm. Maybe not surprising for a holiday, but the way it was handled left a lot to be desired. No staff member would make eye contact, nor apologize, nor offer a place to wait away from the drafty door. A woman who appeared to be a floor manager studiously did not bother to address us as she flitted around the room. We were not the only party left in this position. When we were finally seated it was in the side room full of parents and small children. Not the NYE ambiance we were looking for. It was also obvious that the staff did not want to be there. However, we lucked out with Maddie, her service, personality and organization made up for so much. Not once did we feel that she was put out or longing to be somewhere else. I have been a fan of UK, but this experience has certainly put a damper on things. They are lucky to have Maddie, please make sure they know that.

Yeah, it was New Years and it was busy. BUT It was our anniversary....come on. Our waiter was so impatient, he even asked if we would mind if he went checked on another table before he took our order. Never asked us if we wanted another drink, so I only had one. Took him FOREVER to bring us anything and someone else scooped up and took our bread when we still had one piece left after I told them to leave it...ugh I tried hard not to leave the guy a tip at all. I am not sure I would go back, even if it wasn't a holiday. It's too bad too, the place is beautiful and the decorations are nice, but maybe we just got the wrong waiter, on the wrong night, but it made for an unpleasant experience, even though the food was quite good, I didn't enjoy it.

We were there for New Year’s Eve. Very busy but service was good. Ordered meat loaf, pizza, pork chop and redfish. All were good; hot, well prepared. Their garlic bread was so so ( a little hard), but overall a very good meal on a tough night. Thanks!

Wait for table was 10 min past reservation. Although drink order was taken timely, it was a long wait to place the food order. Food was worth the wait. Unique menu items and good presentation. All 4 in our party enjoyed our food and ordered desert. They were out of cream “since this morning” for coffee and informed they were out of carrot cake after we ordered and waited. It was New Years’s Eve, so very busy but our waiter was attentive.

Amazing food and amazing service! Great place for two or ten. Menu has many options from pizza and burger to steak and seafood. The soup of the day, poblano bisque, was out of this world. I had a delicious seared scallops dish with a creamy butternut squash rissotto. Server was very attentive and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Meatloaf had a crispy outside. like it was leftover and recooked. sitting on a piece of soggy bread. A friend ordered bread pudding. Arrived cold, the waiter took it to heat it up and never returned with it. Asked it be removed from the bill after 15 - 20 minutes. Very slow service and it was not busy.

I enjoyed a beautiful dinner with my husband and our 7 & 9 year old sons out celebrating my birthday. I can't say enough about the service, food, ambiance and overall experience. Twyla our waitress was very friendly and attentive to our requests. I enjoyed the steak shrimp and grits and my husband had the meatloaf. Can you say delicious!! The boys ordered from the Union Kids menu :) they loved it as well. The live music was nice, not too loud. The manager on shift that night was very helpful and super friendly. This is our new favorite place for date night and brunch!!

Disappointed in the Union Burger. The onion rings had so much batter on them, it was like having three cake donuts on top of my burger.

Very nice and close. If you are looking for fine dining, you probably won’t find it in this part of town, but it was several notches above the usual chain restaurant fare. So, as one might expect, the staff was good but clearly overworked. The hostess was sweet but stressed out and need of support. They seemed to be overbooked for such a small place, despite the fact that it was Saturday night. Consequently, it was a bit noisy. They even ran out of menus. However, all of this was overlooked as we were so grateful not to have to travel to the woodlands or downtown. We were able to relax and enjoy our evening. We have eaten here in the past when they first opened but the service and food have gotten so much better. I little pricey for its location though...
