The Twisted Tuna
Rachel was great! Awesome service fabulous food
Twisted Tuna is a great place to drink, eat and relax with friends!
Great mussels. Food was good and drinks were good. Moderately priced. Will go back but not on a Friday. Too noisy for older people
Good place for friends and family gatherings.
Food was good some dishes were cold. Service was good.
Had drinks at bar before for dinner. Bartender was sloppy, placed drinks on drink rail out of reach, and in wet dripping glasses, did not know how to make a mojito. Gave us vodka sprite and mint. Dinner was worse. Service was poor -and food was terrible. Tasteless sauce served with linguine and claims same tasteless sauce with shrimp scampi. Fish and chips cold and old. Bread basket had stale roles which were warmed over and served with 1 pat of butter and coffee creamer in basket. Terrible experience and would never go back and do not recommend.
We used open table because it is season. The wait has been crazy at local
Good food and location off the water, however inadequate parking and service is disjointed when busy.
Everything was delicious! The service was great. A bit loud but no complaints from us!
terrible service kids didn’t get there meals. meals came out cold and all different times
Good food. Reasonable pricing.,
Was a little hot, fans weren’t working. Food was good but long wait time for raw oysters.... but once they came they were delicious! Restaurant was very busy, wait staff did the best they could to keep up!
The food was excellent. Everything was good. The service took longer than it should have. Our poor waitress was overloaded. She was excellent, just too many tables to serve.
Taylor did a great job. Food was awesome.
This time of day during the week was what you would call quiet dining. We have been here for dinner on weekends and it is much more lively! We consider this to be a go-to place for our guests, a real Florida atmosphere!
I have been to this establishment before and thought the food was good. This last visit was something to be less desired. I took family from out of town for dinner and the service was slow and the grouper tacos I had ordered was mostly shredded cabbage for $15.99, also the tropical sangria was mostly blue caracoa. When dinning at a primarily seafood restaraunt I expect to have at least what I payed for and I most certainly did not. It is a shame that my husband and I will not be dinning there again or at least in the near future.
Food was fantastic! I highly recommend the grouper sandwich and clam chowder!!!!
Our experience was great overall but there was a delay in 2 of our guests getting their meals brought out after the rest of us had finished eating. We do not blame the waitress. The manager did not charge us for their meals and also did not charge us for 3 appetizers and were very apologetic. We eat here often and never have any problems. It was New Year’s Eve, so it is understandable these things happen. We still had a great time and would recommend this place to everyone. The food is good, the ambiance and overall experience is great
Service was slow but the sushi boat made up for it. We had a great time!
Great for families. Huge menu. Lots of fried alternatives. Beautiful oysters reasonable prices.
Food was not that good. Temperature of food was lukewarm. Will not go back there. For the amount charged the meal was not worth it. My clothes smelled like grease after I left.
My family and i are here tonight since all the family was in town. It was a less than desirable experience. The service was very slow and our server not only forgot to bring us some of our meals, they also came out separately so we did not all get to eat together. The food was extremely salty. My brother in law ordered clam chowder and it was very thick like it had been sitting for a long time, it had mushrooms and bay leaves in it and was more of a cream of mushroom soup. When asking the server questions about menu items, she obviously had no idea what she was talking about and making things up. Empty drink glasses and plates were not cleared off the table as they were emptied. The grouper sandwich was VERY fishy and the pasta was very salty to the point that I could not eat much. When we first got there we asked the guy behind the counter (where he was working) what kind of oysters were being served and he had no idea as he said he hasn’t worked there long enough to know what they serve. The sushi was not good- the fish definitely tasted like it wasn’t fresh and for a $17 sushi roll- it was not big at all. The bathrooms were absolutely filthy and the restaurant had an overwhelming smell like dirty mop water. The menus were so sticky with dried food and drinks that had been spilled on them. The hostesses are not very friendly at all. This was not a good experience at all and I’m embarrassed that we even recommended our family to eat here as it was their first time.
Our dinner was very good. I had their signature salmon dish with tomatoes, artichoke, spinach, garlic and feta with a lemon butter sauce which was delicious. My husband had clams and linguini which was very good. Another person in our party had Mahi tacos. Most were very tasty but one a little fishy. The Mahi dinner was excellent.
Overall, we were very pleased.
Service and food was amazing. Pricing was worth it. It was loud in the area we were in but was expected for the holiday season. Our waitress was amazingly friendly and patient with our larger group. Highly recommend!
We were a party of eleven and that always seems to present challenges to both the front and the back of the house. The signature Bloody Mary was super, however, had I known the price, $14.50, I would not have ordered it. Overall, it was a positive experience! One suggestion would be to tell patrons that you serve “Pepsi”, not Coca Cola. There is a difference to a lot of people. Having said all this, I will come back to enjoy your extensive menu again.
We were in town visiting family & they have been at restaurant a few times & enjoyed it. We had the fish dip, conch & grouper fingers for appetizers & the mahi sandwich along with sushi & sushi rolls for dinner. All the food was great as was the service. We ended the night with the salted caramel cheesecake which was AWESOME!!!
Loved everything about this restaurant. The food was reasonably priced and delicious. Wyatt (our server) was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be returning.
We love the Tuna we go all the time. The one thing I was disappointed in was when we made our reservation I wanted and outside table. When we arrived it said they dont take reservations for outside. This isn't stated anywhere on the site. They still accommodated us and got us outside. I just want to give other people the knowledge that they dont take reservations for outside.
Upstairs, too noisy, too cold. Several Large parties, one waitress. Overworked and understaffed.
Food came up COLD FM downstairs kitchen.
Good restaurant downstairs. Good service.
Don't go upstairs !
Love the sushi, and there are menu options for everyone in the family. Fun atmosphere by the water, live music on the weekends. Cool spot for casual dining or special occasions. Service is always overwhelmed, so expect to do a lot of waiting. Average of 2 to 3 hours for party of 5. Rough for parents with toddlers.
Excellent food excellent service!!! Definitely coming back for sure!!!
We had a group of 8 and were able to sit outside which was very nice. But, on a Wednesday night the service was slow. Generally the food was good, not great. Still, a nice place to sit in the water and relax with friends.
I really wanted to like this restaurant. Menu sounded great and great location. Unfortunately it took forever for the food to come and then when it came it was not good. 2 of our guests retire their food back and I was ready too. Even the kids meal weren’t good. Perhaps because it was Mother’s Day but for a restaurant that has gong through holidays before they could have been prepared
Our party of 5 had reservations for mothers day. It was very busy but we didnt have to wait long after our reserved time to be seated. I ordered the shrimp and scallop alfredo. They brought me shrimp scampi. My waitress came around a few minutes later and I told her I had the wrong dish. She quickly corrected the error. The shrimp and scallop alfredo was delicious! My husband ordered the royal steamed platter. He said everything was delicious but they left out the potatoes and clams that were supposed to come with it. We had almost finished eating before my childrens sushi rolls arrived to the table. The waitress never came back around to asked if we needed refills on our drinks, which we did. It was our first visit here. The food was great. I will eat there again. Hopefully the service will be better on a day thats not so busy. An added bonus is they have their complete menu with prices online.
Another lovely Easter Brunch at Twisted Tuna! This was our family’s 3rd year getting together for Easter Brunch at Twisted Tuna- it was delicious and everyone loved their meal. The night before, I called to attempt to add another 2 people to the reservation I had made weeks prior, on-line, and learned they didn’t have my reservation. The manager, Michelle, got on the phone with me and worked it out for our party of 10! She was amazing and we’ll be back next Easter- in addition to our visits through out the rest of the year!
Great, seated upstairs, nice, cool, magnificent view. Server Kate attended to each and every request. Very attentive, very informative. Oh yeah, dinner was delicious, everyone had something different and everything was good.
Food was excellent. Service was great and we were advised that food would come out at different times. We were in no rush and we really enjoyed our meal.
Men's bathroom upstairs was filthy.
Food and service were good though.
Service was OK. Had a 6:30 reservation arrived 15 minutes early. Did not get seated until 7:05. What’s the point of having a reservation.
the table was waiting and the food good. However, the noise level was totally unacceptable for me, my wife and our guests. Hard to communicate between ourselves as to our waitress. For that reason, I would not recommend the restaurant to friends and will certainly hesitate to return.
