This place was fantastic! Live music on a Sunday night helped drive the Sunday Scaries away, and the entire staff was so nice and accommodating. Definitely going back.
Our waiter was nice. The service was great. The food on the other hand was lack luster. It was not seasoned.
We enjoyed our experience went there to be with friends and the music is always the best. There were a few misses in service. Well worth it to go back!
Out of fried chicken… only reason we went. Food came out in no particular order, we had sides for dinner before appetizers. Unfortunately staff was light and waiter was all over the place and could barely attend to us. Not his fault, but worth noting.
We had a an amazing experience. Great service great food great atmosphere.
First time here but not the last. We came for a quick bite before a movie and it was perfect. Fast and friendly and the cheese plate was amazing! So good, In fact, that we dove right in and didn’t even take a picture. We also had the fried chicken sandwich. Yum. Perfectly friend chicken breast, nice size, toasted bun, LT & pickle, couldn’t have asked for better. Happy hour menu was very varied and included good drink specials too. Our server was great in explaining everything but I didn’t really get his name because he was masked. The noise level was loud, not the music, the people, but we could still converse. Will definitely be back here. TYTT
Great food, fun ambiance. Noise was a bit loud for us and didn’t change when we mentioned it. Would definitely go again!
Fun place with interesting food and friendly service.
A little too loud for my taste. Music should provide ambiance but allow for casual conversation. It was hard to hear others at the table. Food was very good. Cheese plate was great. Crab cake was great! Mussels were pretty good, but a couple of them seemed undercooked.
The food was delicious. Our waitress Molly was great!
Amazing menu for food and drinks. Everything I tried was amazing.
The happy hour was great. Delicious wings. Great ambiance.
Our server, Steve, was great— super friendly.
Unfortunately, the restaurant was out of everything I tried ordering, at least 3 items (food and drinks). It was disappointing because the menu was small to begin with. We dined in at 6:00pm so right before the big dinner rush. I couldn’t imagine if we had came any later, we would of been s.o.l.
Fantastic dinner! The food was amazing. Drinks were fantastic. Ambience was perfect. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. You've got to check it out even if you've been before. It's got even better!
The entertainment was was awesome!
We love the twisted tail! Great food and cocktails.
Food was too sweet and overpriced. Service was good.
Great music, good food and delightful service.
Food was delicious, music fabulous, can't wait to go back!
The food was good and the restaurant was lively. Our server was good, he made some recommendations. I had the crabcake which was good but when I saw the table next to us get the fried chicken and Mac n cheese , I wished I had ordered that. Oh well , maybe next time.
Amazing service! Molly was phenomenal and my little brothers REALLY enjoyed the mac & cheese and buttermilk chicken sandwich. THANKS!
We’ll be back!
Katherine and Nick were terrific. Hospitality and food were amazing.
This restaurant is an underrated gem. The chef is way talented and serves perfect dishes without fail, from gnocchi with wild mushrooms to pork chops to crab cakes to tomato salad and beets on cream, the Twisted Tail can do no wrong.
Service was great. Food was good but the portions for the price was disproportionate. Good food selection for Brunch.
Exceptional service!! Our server recommended excellent choices the entire evening and made our dining experience one of the best! As he recommended, I strongly recommend the shrimp and grits. Sorry Charleston, SC… the Twisted Tail has the best shrimp and grits I’ve ever tasted. This place is a hidden gem!
The food was delicious and it came out quickly. Ender took such great care of us. Excellent food and service!
We were looking for a restaurant after attending the flower show. What a find. It was so so good.
Would love it if you could have more vegan options. Love the drinks.
Always fantastic with great food, drinks and service
Went for an impromptu date night and loved it! Cocktails were delicious, food was fantastic and service was great! They were very attentive - the manager even came out to address my food allergies which I really appreciated!
We loved it - thank you. Ambiance, food, location, vibe--all just right.
Thank you Elaine. We are glad that you had a great time and look forward to seeing you back again soon!
One of my favorite spots..... and the smoked crawfish & mac 🤩🤩🤩
Twisted Tail was excellent! The food is meant to be shared family style, which was awesome because we wanted to try everything on the menu. The entrees are a good portion, and we ended up taking some home. We loved the cocktails and the bartender even made a delicious mock tail! They even offer several whiskey flights!
My wife took me here on my birthday for dinner and to taste some whiskeys. The food was excellent, particularly my grilled salmon with eggplant my wife’s fried chicken. There was also a blues duo playing in the background, which added to the experience without dominating it.
What really made the night special was the excellent service we received, and, especially, the time the owner, George, spent with us recommending whiskeys based on what we liked, talking about his restaurant, and how he acquired the bottles.
We live almost an hour away, but we’ll definitely be back.
Thank you for your comments. I look forward to hosting you again, whenever you are in town. George.
We came for restaurant week and loved everything! The atmosphere, the location, and the food was amazing. The 2 man band was awesome too
Wonderful menu choices for Restaurant Week! Live music was a plus. Distanced seating helped keep the noise level down. Appreciated the attentive service and welcoming from the manager.
We went for Restaurant Week and the menu was awesome! So many choices and everything was so good. The heirloom tomato salad dressing was delicious and the burrata was so good! I also got the chorizo taco, which was a bit spicy, but yummy! The cilantro "sauce" that came with it was soooo good! I also had the flank steak and a beignet and no complaints! The cocktail menu was varied and our cocktails were delicious! Our server was a little overwhelmed, but the manager stepped in and made sure our visit was great. I would definitely return.
Came here for restaurant week. It was a bit busy so the hostess told us a table had to get bussed but that we could wait outside and she would get us when the table was ready. After 10 mins, we popped back in to see if the table was ready, but another group was already sitting where the hostess told us she would put us. So we waited another few minutes while they cleaned another table for us. That was the only negative experience. Other than that, the food and our server were great. I had the salmon tartare and the burrata, which were both excellent. The fried chicken was cooked well but could've used more seasoning. For dessert, I had the strawberry rhubarb crumble, which was also good. For drinks, I had the Kool Kat, which was really refreshing and not too strong. Overall, a great dining experience and would definitely come back to try the other dishes.
The ambiance was great and the staff did well enough... however the food was not seasoned at all... the grilled wings were grilled but not seasoned... the steak was cooked well... but not seasoned... the crawfish macaroni and cheese was dry... the beignets were good ... and the basil lemonade was very good
