Wonderful and friendly service. Waitress was on top of everything and very helpful. Food was absolutely amazing and well presented.
Went for Anniversary. They did an amazing job with all the COVID requirements and we felt very safe. Our server Chandler was awesome. All the staff was great.
We had reservations, and even early reservations on a Thursday means its a packed house at this lovely Italian American restaurant. Yet the ladies in charge of the reservations and seating were confused and sloppy in getting guests waiting to areas to either sit or stand, then seemed to not even know if folks had reservations. Enough ofvthat.
Our waitor was fantastic. Gave him a 50% tip. I had the lasagna, definitely homemade, could have fed three people with the serving size, was the best I've had in 8 years. The homemade bread was MUCH too spicy for me; I hated it. The lemon brulee cheesecake was delicious and again the piece could have fed three. Coffee was well prepared. Two different glasses of wine, to each their own of course, but The Twisted Olive has the sister winery so I recommend you try glasses of their award winners then buy bottles on the way out.
My dining partner was my 87y.o. Mother for her birthday 🎂. She had a prosciutto wrapped chicken stuffed with I believe herbs, I'm not certain, mashed potatoes, and green beans. The green beans were criminally undercooked but she wouldn't send them back and when she told the waitor he didn't quite know what to do. Maybe noone has ever complained? But I tried one and it was darn near raw! The chicken and potatoes were again near divine and my Mother loved her birthday meal so raw beans are forgiven. Wine again and coffee, perfect. Dessert was Tiramisu that had a smokey taste and cut with the fork like tender cake should, big enough to take home and enjoy a second helping the next day.
All in all a lovely experience.
The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was delightful. We ate on the dek and the weather was perfect with the Goodyear blimp making an appearance.
We had a great lunch on the lower level patio. Food was excellent.
As usual food was great as well as the service.
Beautiful scenery with lake and trees. Excellent menu and food quality along with superb service and strong safety measures. What could be better than that during the pandemic?
Our party of four ordered a variety of items and they all were excellent. The brussel sprouts and the meat ball appetizers were outstanding. Our pasta dishes were excellent, and the steak was done perfectly.
They have an attention to detail in the way the food is prepared, the service they provide and most importantly the cleanliness. Every waiter, staff member wears appropriate PPE, tables are clean and spaced according. There is a large outdoor eating area with a beautiful view. The menu is well thought out and offers something for everyone
Zeke was a great server. Had a wonderful night.
I have been here and Gervasi many times, and I have never been disappointed with the service! Great food and drinks!
Although it was a quiet evening at The Twisted Olive, the staff greeted and welcomed us with smiles.
We were seated in a small, private dining area which was the perfect setting for our party of four. All four of us agreed that our meals were delicious and our server was attentive and pleasant.
Definitely one of our favorite eating establishments.
Service etc fine. (see stars) Food problematic, the Brussels Sprouts appetizer was too tough to eat, replaced with same result. Crab Cakes Sliders. The cakes were fine the bun detracted from the Crab cakes themselves. Salad with Grilled Salmon, salad was OK the Salmon was excellent.
Staff was very helpful in relocating our outside table when it began to rain heavily. The ambiance of the Twisted Olive is always spot on. It is very aesthetically pleasing. My only problem with this particular visit was that the meatball appetizer my table ordered arrived lukewarm at best.
The Twisted Olive is a great place for all occasions. If you go once, you will become a regular guest. We always love the food, atmosphere, and service.
My only complaint is upon arriving the hostess said I did not have a reservation when I clearly did through open table. They did eventually "find" my reservation, but it was a bit embarrassing in front of my guest and the others waiting without reservations for tables.
The food was excellent! The room our table was located the was too noisy, hard to have a conversation in our group because the large party behind us even with appropriate social distancing.
Most places you will go out to eat for either the ambiance or the food. You get both at The Twisted Olive. Whether it's drinks and apps after work, a meal with your sweetie, or entertaining for work you will not be disappointed. Great asset to the area.
We had a reservation for 5, checked in with the hostess who was outside, checked in, our reservations were for 4:30, we were seated at 4:45 or so. Had to wear a mask upon entering until we were seated.
Atmosphere was great, food and drinks served promptly and our waitress was AWSOME!!
The food is quite average...the setting is beautiful...staff is good
Fantastic!! Food was great. Service perfect....attentive but not hovering. COVID preparation was subtle but clearly being executed fully. Will go again!
Great outdoor seating!!
One of our favorite places to eat. A nice variety to choose from, fresh and always very good. We enjoy sitting out on the patio, weather permitting.
Matt our server was amazing
We had an amazing time celebrating my husband's birthday! It was our first time and we drove an hour because we had heard great things. Already planning our next trip back!
Amazing Anniversary Lunch!
Would like more options on Happy Hour
We had a great dinner. It was an excellent experience. We love it!
Celebrated our wedding anniversary here. Nice quiet location, beautiful facility, good wine selection, Celeste was an outstanding waitress, food quality I give 3 out of 5 for the $ spent; scallops were undercooked. Overall good experience. We'll be back.
TW was very organized & all workers were wearing masks. We wanted to sit outside but most tables were in the sun. They were very accommodating in allowing us to chose the table we wanted. Our waitress was friendly & attentive. Loved the chicken meatballs!
Celebrated my parents 50th wedding anniversary. Sat outside. It was so nice! Food was wonderful!
Very comfortable place for social distancing
A wonderful first visit. We will return. Beautiful setting.
Never a bad experience at the T.O.
Excellent food and service as always.
Great food and service. Looking forward to going back soon!
What a beautiful space, wonderful meal and amazing service!
Ate outside in lovely surroundings. Enjoyed the food.
46th wedding anniversary.
The only negative. We had a reservation at 7:30 and arrived a little early because we wanted to be assured an outside table. We were told we would be seated close to our reservation. We were fine with that. A couple came in after us with no reservation and asked to be seated at an outside table. They were immediately escorted to an outside table while we were still waiting for ours. We scratched our head trying to figure out why we were asked to wait. In all fairness, we were seated shortly after them.
It was a very nice, beautiful evening.
We took friends from out of state and they loved it! Because of COVID they wanted to eat outside with space. Tables on the outside deck were spaced apart, and it was easily marked which way to walk. The view is always amazing and they couldn't believe how peaceful it was. Our waitress was very friendly and offered great suggestions for drinks and food. The roasted brussel sprouts and walleye were our favorites. Another great evening out at Twisted Olive!
We have dined here several times, since the virus has hit. We always eat on the patio which is a dinning experience in its self because of the beautiful setting. The owner is taking all the necessary precautions to protect their patrons and staff.
