Second time visiting Twisted Olive. Great experience the first time with my husband. This time I came with my 3 friends, reservation made days in advance. It was busy, I get it, but it took an hour for our salads and appetizers to come, our server barely came back to our table, probably would have ordered more drinks if it did not take so long to get them. By the time we got our entrée it was 9:00 and we had a 7:15 reservation.
We had a great dinner at the twisted olive. We were seated on time and in a really nice private area overlooking the patio. Service was excellent - thanks Brooke! Food was amazing and the walnut old fashion drink was awesome! Atmosphere is very cool - will have to come back on the summer to see the grounds.
To start with, my wife and I always have a Saturday date night. We go to dinner and it is always busy, so off and on we find ourselves stopping and starting conversations. On special occasions, we go to Twisted Olive. I asked for a nice table next to the fireplace and was not disappointed. The experience started with Chris wishing my wife a happy birthday! He took our drink order and appetizers immediately and returned quickly to get us started. He returned off and on to check with us the rest of the evening with great suggestions for our experience. He also stopped and came back when we were embedded in a conversation. Amazing action that we always noticed. The whole experience let the Twisted Olive be a backdrop to our experience and Chris to be our personal assistant of the evening. The meal was amazing and the whole staff was top notch! My wife and I had the best night ever and Chris was amazing. We normally spend 1 hour on date night and we felt so comfortable that this night was 2 hours. Wow! It felt like 1 hour, but we were their 2 hours and my wife and I left completely amazed with the Twisted Olive experience of a life time! Thanks again Chris for the professional treatment!
My lovely wife and I decided to try the twisted olive for our Saturday night date and we were absolutely blown away! All the food was really yummy. Try the brussell sprouts you will not be disappointed. I wish I could remember our waitress' name but she was very kind n explained all details and was professional and I might add lightening fast and smooth. I'm ashamed I dont remember her name. We also tried the molten lava cake dessert which is to die for. Overall I would recommend this place in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a fine dining experience. Five stars all the way around. Thank you The Twisted Olive .
Every time we dine at the Twisted Olive, we have a pleasant and positive experience. Service is always excellent and the choices on menu are many. The only negative experience we've had was the bread pudding which was quite dry and somewhat disappointing, but all other food choices we've had have been perfect. It's a great place to dine especially with friends. The atmosphere and setting is beautiful; so nice to have in the area!
We loved our date night here! We had a great time the food and wine are amazing!
Food was great, our Waitress Maria was amazing, smart, fast and helpful!
We always celebrate our anniversary at the Twisted Olive. We always have exceptional service and find the restaurant pleasant
Always a great experience!
Great service great food great atmosphere. As usual!
My business associate and I made a reservation for dinner on a week night after a long week on the road. It turned out to be an incredibly busy night for the restaurant. There seemed to be a lot of holiday parties. The hosting staff was cordial and communicative with patrons letting everyone know what to expect for wait times. The waitstaff were amazing as well.
We ordered an appetizer and dinner. Our meal was delayed by the party of 20 sitting across from us-one of several large parties at the restaurant that evening. When our meal was delivered by the manager, he apologized profusely for the delay. Our server communicated to him that the kitchen was backed up and our meal was delayed because of it. The fact that our waiter communicated the delay to the manager and the manager cared enough to deliver our food and apologize right away was excellent. The manager took care of us and overall, we had an amazing meal. You can really tell the standard of a restaurant on a busy day and they excelled. Thank you to the staff of Twisted Olive! We will definitely be back.
They were very friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent, would definitely return.
Everything was great. I love the food and the decor. Our servers were also on point.
We have been here 2 times...the first was good....this time not so good...they got carried away on the pepper on the shrimp and asparagus....we had an appetizer of brussell sprouts because first time they were great...this time not so...very very greasy...
Although I do love the interior, it is very open and therefore, very loud. The service from valet, hostess, bartender and waiter very prompt and friendly. We had the meatballs and Brussels Sprouts for appetizers and the pizza for dinner. They were all delicious!
We ate there on a Saturday evening for my sister-in-law’s birthday. We expected it to be crowded but not the deafening noise. We were seated at a table on the “patio”. The table was squeezed into a tight corner and we had to take turns adjusting the it to get to our seats. The “patio” had a low ceiling and the noise from the adjacent large parties was overwhelming. The food was so-so. The Brussels sprouts were excellent but the salads were served on plates still hot from the dishwasher. Our entrees were good but nothing special. We had the crispy bread pudding for dessert. It was burnt, not crispy, and inedible. The service was spotty at best. The restaurant is beautiful but our experience was not good. We won’t be returning.
We celebrated my wife's birthday. Nice upscale atmosphere. Good food and drinks. They seated us next to a fireplace on chilly evening, nice touch. A memorable evening.
Honestly, I have only had the pizza and I've been there several times. This time, the crust was a little burnt. The salads are always good and very fresh. I only go at lunch. Dinner prices are too high for our budget.
we have returned many time consistently great service, atmosphere and food
We loved Christopher. Will definitely ask for him the next time we come. Perfect service and food
We made a last minute reservation. When we arrived at the restaurant we were seated by the sweetest hostess Elena. She was friendly and professional and took us right to our seat. Our waitress was amazing too- best service and great food!
Beautiful setting, amazing staff. Was not impressed with the overpriced menu. Both my appetizer and dinner were really not all that great (greek chicken meatballs and parmesan chicken). Chicken was flavorless and dry. Side dish was bland. I really expected a lot more for the price. Maybe this was not one of their better meals.
The restaurant never dissapoints. Food and beverages are delicious. Servers are knowledgeable and go above and beyond. It's not the norm so it's a well deserved treat every now and then.
The service was outstanding and really made the experience special.
Great Ambiance in addition to Great Food!
My Wife and I will continue to visit the Twisted Olive several times a year.
Already looking forward to our next visit to try a new menu item.
The food is and always is excellent. The seating arrangement was less that desirable sitting over a heating vent and by a fire alarm. The waiter was polite but was not prompt. He did not check back on us very often at all, he took a long time to get our order in and seemed rather aloof.
We were thrilled with our experience. The food was outstanding. We will definitely be back.
I came to celebrate my dearest friends birthday and our 50th Anniversary as best friends. It was a special place, food and service we exceptional and I'm completely happy with the visit to Twisted Olive!
Have always loved the food and seating options at The Twisted Olive! If quiet is preferred, ask for that seating. It is otherwise a high energy (and sometimes high sound) place. It's good either way - lift spirits if you need enthusiasm of other customers or find a quiet place when desired.
Highly recommend the crab cake with shrimp skewers - fabulous - same for the brussel sprouts. Great drinks as well.
When the Twisted Olive first opened I was pleasantly surprised at the gluten free menu and how the staff was knowledgeable about it. Now I feel they are no longer committed. What happened to the Gluten free Mac and cheese? What happened to the dedicated fryers?
This is too far a drive and too expensive if I am no longer important!
Great Service & Food
Beautiful restaurant & setting! Food & service was amazing
We ate here two nights in a row the food and service Were so good and we wanted to try multiple things on the menu.
Food was good but we mostly like the drinks and events and the atmosphere. The pizzas are usually a good bet. Wine is so-so but the Bloody Mary and the cocktails are pretty good!
We were so pleased with everything, the professional staff, the food quality and service all very good. The one thing I was slightly disappointed in was the length of time to get our food. But must consider a very busy Saturday night at prime time. The scallops could have been seared a bit longer. The meatloaf and pork chop were awesome.
Such a great experience. Very very professional staff.
We spent 2 1/2 hours there. We did not feel rushed to eat and leave. The waitstaff was pleasant and the food was outstanding.
My brother and his wife were in town from the Baltimore area. We wanted to take them somewhere local but special. We had a wonderful experience and they were extremely impressed. So delighted that they wanted to go back the next night.
Walleye was excellent but didn't like noodles or sauce for alfredo.
Chicken Arabiata, big chunks, chicken dry.
Salads were fine
Excellent gluten free menu
The service was horrible, we had to ask for a straw three times. The pizzas were lukewarm and had an odd taste the hamburger was dry and crab cake was just bread without crabmeat. I could not recommend this restaurant to anyone and I will not return.
