The Turf Room Ratings and Reviews
Most of the food was excellent. Disappointed in the Ribeyes, both were over cooked. But everything else was great. First time steaks we're this way, so we will give them a break, as we love the food and atmosphere.
Took my wife here for Valentine’s Day. Cozy ambiance with the real fireplace smell wafting through the place. Food was excellent, deep wine and bourbon list. We will be returning often for those nights we want special dinners.
It was nice to sit to dinner on a cold Sunday and feel the warmth of the fire. The space was very inviting. The food was delicious and my friends all said their food was great. I would go back for sure.
Amazing. We got the filet and it was cooked perfectly. For how great the food was, the value was exceptional. Also, the ambience of the restaurant was delightful and set the exact mood I wanted to portray on my date. Overall we had an unforgettable dining experience!
Have been here several times over the years. Food was a bit off this time. Sat fairly near fireplace which was blasting heat (uncomfortable heat). Will go back but hoping for better next time.
We went to Turf Room for our anniversary and everything was great. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. We’ll definitely go back again.
The menu was limited for anyone who didn't want meat. The portions were small but it was good. The service was excellent and it's a really cool restaurant. I just wished the menu had some vegetarian options or even some more basic choices.
Overall I thought the restaurant was good. We sat down next to a family with kids and a loud table of 8 which wasn't ideal but I guess you can get that anywhere. It took a while to get our server to come by because she had two larger tables that took all her attention.
The food itself was good, but thought it could have been better for the price that you pay for an entree. I had a craft beer and the wife had a cocktail which were both excellent.
The busboy was rather annoying as he asked us 5 times (I counted) if he take anything off our table even though we were still eating.
The ambience was very nice. Although we were stuck in a back room, the rest of the restaurant looks well put together. We had reservations, which I would recommend.
We'll give this place a go again and am hopeful the little issues will correct themselves.
The atmosphere was exciting. You felt like you were at an event but it was not crowded. The food was excellent, service was centered on our experience and I think the individual wash rooms are a plus.
I'll Be Back!
Loved the food and atmosphere. Our server could of been a little more attentive. He never came over to check on us after we recieved our food before he gave us our check.
Love this place. Great service, friendly and knowledgeable service team. A HUGE and very inclusive wine list, with many experienced - wine knowledge-folks.
Love the Turf Room! You can always count on fabulous food, great cocktails & spirits, and most of all the best wait staff.
Although very loud the food was great. It was crowded and service was a little slow. I think we would visit on a weeknight next time so we wouldn’t have to shout to talk.
What a great find! My co-worker told me about this little gem! Great service, amazing food and drinks! We will definitely be back!
My wife and I went on a date night with a couple cocktails in the bar prior to dinner. Drinks are very good, but beware the cocktails are strong and go down smoothly. We had an appetizer of smoked salmon bruschetta and entrees of spare rib and bacon chop. The appetizer was excellent as was the spare rib. My wife's chop was very good, but she said she's order my course instead next time. Service at the bar and dining room was excellent, attentive without being intrusive. My only qualifier is the noise level can be high at times. We had a great time.
We absolutely loved our time, the only thing I would say if I needed to was the pacing of the order being taken. However, that said, the food coming out was perfectly timed! Thank you so much, my sister had a wonderful 30th birthday!!
Our favorite restaurant! My husband loved the wonderful service and welcoming staff!
I love the comfortable, friendly ambience of the place. The martinis are exceptionally good, so it's hard to choose one! The duck wings appetizer was delicious. The Farfalla dish is a favorite as is the Lighthouse Salad. The lobster bisque was well liked by all of us. A very good restaurant for celebrating the birthday of three of our party of six. They were each offered a complementary dessert for their birthdays. I highly recommend the Turf room for any occasion!
3 people recommend this restaurant to us. The inside looked great but I didn't get to see a lot of it bc we were brought back to a semi-private table. Which was really nice except I could see the people diagonally across from us so whenever I looked around I felt like I was staring at them. I got the meatloaf flight. The meatloafs were about the size of a small brownie and a little dry. I wasn't sure if my brussel sprouts were supposed to be cooked or raw. I didn't eat them. The potatoes that came with the dish was under one of the meatloafs and completely covered (so also tiny). My husband had the monk fish. Which was mostly lentils. All in all it seemed a little over priced. If I go back, I'd order pasta.
Amazing unique food. Desserts are to die for. Do the French toast or root beer cookies fresh from the oven!
