Made reservations for 8 and upon arrival, we were seated immediately but abruptly moved to a noisy spot right near the kitchen! They offered comps for the mix up in seating but clearly saw the displeasure on my wife's face. They immediately moved us to the bar/patio area which was the absolute best! Our waitress, Victoria, was OUTSTANDING!
Thank you to the manager and Victoria for making my bday very nice!
Chris was our server, he did an awesome job attending to us. The food was also pretty good. A perfect date night.
The service was very slow and disorganized. There were employees everywhere, and no one seemed to know what to do. The only exception - and I wish I had gotten his name - was the bus boy, who kept our water glasses full and chased down our waiter multiple times. We arrived an 1:15 hours before the movie, and we were still 20 minutes late to be movie.
The waitress was very good, appeared to be the only one on duty at 6:00pm. Ordered the wagyu burger and the margharita pizza from the happy hour menu. The burger was amazing. The margharita pizza was just a cheese pizza, no basil and no tomato. It was still good just not what you would expect when ordering a margharita pizza. Cocktails were very good, martini and margarita.
We had a salad with added skirt steak. The salad was acceptable but not special and exceedingly overpriced at $25 each. We had a bottle of very decent wine that was also exceedingly overpriced (under $25 at a store and $75 at the restaurant). We asked for bread and got a piece of white sliced bread (like mrs Baird) toasted on a panini maker so that it had stripes. A bottle of water for the table was $8, more than I have paid at a three-Michelin-Star restaurant in Manhattan, which is ridiculous. Overall a $200 meal for three very simple salads with some steak and a bottle of wine - we don’t mind expensive restaurants, but this is simply not acceptable value for a mediocre meal. Not worth the experience.
The ambiance was OK, but again not special. It is a restaurant attached to a movie theater, not what we expected. Very few people at 9:00 pm on s Friday — which is not a good sign.
Very good food. Service took way to long for drinks. They also ran out of a few items (ie menus, ice, etc). Cool setting with nice decor
Was served cold coffee. I asked for hot coffee and was given another cup of cold, room temperature coffee. Food arrived an hour after ordering, was incorrect and inedible. We boxed it up only because of the price and gave it to our dog. We ended up going to IHOP just to eat something before our movie. Truly one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had.
Poor experience, we ordered a drink and took 25 minutes for the server to come back. He came back without the drinks to take our order and then pretended that he had sent the drinks to the bar. We decided to leave after wasting 30 mins here.
Food was average bar food with not much selection. We were seated right by the bar where the wait staff congregated to socialize loudly. It was FAR too expensive for such a cheap experience.
I was let down significantly. If it werent for iPic we wouldn't have gone. But this time was exceptionally poor. The venue would be perfect for a small jazz trio or quartet, but there was no band there. The food was also poor. The skirt steak was tough and charred with no seasoning. The shrimp tacos were also poorly seasoned and small. Service was okay except i didnt receive a steak knife and had to use a BUTTER KNIFE for the steak. On the plus side, the waiter did honor my request for one of the tvs to be switched to espn so i could watch an nba game. My wife and i will come back for drinks at the bar as we wait to be seated for our movie, but we will not be dining here again.
Very classy, decent food amazing wait staff at the tuck room. Makes it easy to see a movie after dinner.
We get seated and there is a hair on our plate that was an immediate turn off gross! We then ordered drinks and it took 15 min to get our drinks. What was upsetting is there were workers in the bar just standing around. I ordered a margarita with salt on rim but it was not on the rim it was I’ll over the side of the glass. The waitress saw it and the way she addressed it was to turn the glass around so it was not facing me. Also ordered food and it was suppose to come with soy sauce but we had to ask for it. Not impressed will not be back.
I enjoyed my movie and my meals. Not to mention a great happy hour.
We had reservations yet there were no tables. We had to share a small cocktail table.
They were out of items in the menu at 6:45.
We’ve been coming here since it opened and it’s been going downhill for a while. The service is not up to par and the kitchen is consistently out of some item on the menu. The bartenders are generally friendly and knowledgeable but I’ve been there on two occasions when they can’t serve my drink in the proper glass because they’ve run out. I think Sherry Yard needs to get this location in shape!
Wonderful atmosphere. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. Definitely a must with family/friends and a pre-movie meal, if you aren't in to eating at your seat or just to chat before.
Missing the live music during happy hour. The atmosphere wasn’t as “happy” & lively without the live music. Bring back the live music
Service was HORRIBLE. Took our waiter at least 20 minutes each time to return with any order. Even drinks. Ridiculously slow. For the price of the food, i expected much better service. Not going again
Bartenders do not make good waiters!
First time visiting and it was absolutely great and the food was amazing! I will definitely return!
service started out good, then after our apps our waiter started forgetting what we ordered and our drinks and it took at least 20 plus mins to get our tab
The whole place has gone down hill. Doubt it will last a year. You've managed to attractt mostly trash. Looks like a bunch of hoodlums. Will not return.
Food, drinks, and atmosphere were wonderful; service, not so much. Had several times throughout our visit where we wondered if our waitress was going to come back or not.
This lounge is so impressive. Great for 1st date. I even took our Residents here for cocktails. They were impressed. The ambiance is spectacular. Drinks are really good.
Visited during HRW. Menu options on paper were good and price for portion received was good. Food was decent, some items needed more flavor. Lots of sauces that accompanied dishes that were flavorful. Cocktail prices were decent but soft drink and lemonade was too expensive at $6.
The food was great. The service was even better. Fantastic bartender.
Service at the bar was very slow, waited 20 min before I could order and it wasn’t busy.
The buttery chicken strips were under cooked and had no flavor at all.
We arrived at 930pm for 1045pm show. We ended up leaving early. Pushing the button to request the waiter to return was inevitable. She didn’t come back at all.
It was a nice experience. Waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed.
Desiree was very accommodating and a great server.
Was the food here really a James Beard selection? Hard to believe. Really horrible--except the buttermilk fried chicken appetizer.
Cocktails just sweet--poor execution--horrible considering they tout themselves as a craft cocktail hot spot.
Service was sloooooooowwwww. Place was empty but service still horrible.
Don't pay the high $$ for this place.
Not worth even a visit.
Friends told us about the Ipic movie theater. We decided to go early and have dinner prior to movie. Good food and service. Very convenient to have dinner and walk into theater. We will return.
Our waitress started out very nice by the end of lunch it was a disaster. Our waitress allowed food to come out that we did not order and every ones bill was mixed up. The offer noting for the birthday.
Good first time experience. The service was a bit slow but good otherwise. Food was delicious. Inviting decor.
We were seated very quickly based on our reservation. Our waitress was super friendly, but didn’t seem to be knowledgeable about the special Father’s Day menu. Our initial round of drinks came in a decent amount of time, but subsequent orders were slow or we had to remind her and ask where the drink was. The restaurant was not at all crowded, but we soon realized that all of the busy traffic of the servers at the bar and kitchen was for the folks ordering food from inside iPic. It seemed that the orders for patrons of the Tuck Room were handled as a lower priority. It could have been what we were ordering that took longer, but I found myself looking for the waitress for plates and silverware and even to pay the bill. Overall it’s a nice experience especially if you want a quick bite and drink before a movie. I’ve been before and had a better time, but will definitely go again.
Great atmosphere and the food was good, they need to expand their menu. I would definitely go back.
Tuck Room took a dinner reservation and then sat me at the equivalent of a coffee table. Food wasn’t off the charts but was good. Service was extremely slow and not in a “take time to savor” way. More in a “Oh we forgot you were here at this coffee table” way
Great food and not overly priced and the live band on Friday night was awesome. Would definitely go back.
The Tuck Room was great, our waitress kept the drinks coming, the food was pricy but everyone agreed it was worth it. I loved the decor and ambience.
Food was awesome. Service/wait staff awesome. Great for special occasions
