The Troll Pub Under the Bridge
For $22 the sirloin was bland. Meatball sub was cold in the middle. Just overall pricey for average food.
We had a family birthday party and were put in our own room. Very nice.
The food was good but as a vegetarian I had a very limited selection. Great beer selection and the beer cheese was awesome!! The ambiance was really fun. Great place to have some fun and food!
The food was fantastic! The service was okay and the ambiance was weird for us. It just wasn't our kind of scene. Others seemed to enjoy it, but they were also a younger crowd.
We could NOT say enough about how much we enjoyed our meal here! Food was amazing and the service was even better! We had a large group and our waiter Brandon handled us fanatically! We WILL all be back!
Great appetizers and burgers
Very fun place for out-of-town folks for lunch. Short walk from the Galt House for lunch. Food and service are both great. Seemed like a fun "bar-type" atmosphere for casual dining.
Had a great meal around 6 on a wednesday. The blackened chicken Caesar salad was excellent. The Troll Bru is tasty!
We're not from the area and every single time we've be to Louisville for anything, we've attempted to eat here. For THREE years, we've attempted this and failed because they've been so busy. It was SO worth the wait. Everyone in the family was very pleased! Our waiter was very attentive and did an amazing job at helping us decide between multiple choices. We WILL be going back!
Service was slightly slow.
The Troll Pub Under the Bridge was a lot of fun. The food was good, though I would not recommend the beer cheese, it was very velveta-y.
Only complaint we had was it was quite warm in the restaurant. We were seated close to the door so we just figured it was because the door was opening and closing a lot.
Great place to dine and enjoy a cold beer. Staff was very helpful and teh food was great. Highly recommend the beer cheese sauce.
Amazing food, but an ultimate must have would have to be the sweet potato tots with Bourbon maple butter! I could have made a meal off those.
Pretty cool spot for the ambiance. Service was lacking at the bar but it was busy. Food was good. The beer selection is outstanding.
This place was amazing. Very eclectic and food was great!
This was a Very unique place. It was off the beaten path though and I would have never known it was there without doing an internet search for a restaurant serving a good ‘hot brown.’
Robby was probably the best waiter I have had in years. Arrived with a large group and the food arrived quickly, Robby made excellent suggestions, and all was delicious. Definitely a Louisville restaurant to visit more than once!
Very good service, fun atmosphere. My dad really liked the Hit Brown sandwich he ordered. Great cocktails!
Table service was slow, kitchen equally slow. Dinner took over 50min to get meal. We had a reservation for 2 and were placed in a small room with a huge group of over 20 people together, needless to say it was loud and we felt out of place. Disgusted when we got our bill and found pricing for our drinks higher than menu.
The food and drinks were great - the beer cheese is amazing. We requested the secret room, so it was very quiet and had a cool atmosphere. Our server was very friendly and took great care of us.
Food was good. Service was okay - inattentive if anything.
Get the Hot Brown
Great fun for our family. Bar looked like fun vfc too!
Temperature was too warm. Our waitress seemed very unhappy to be there. Food was good.
I have only eaten there twice, two years apart. Both times have been great. The waitress we had, Jess, was patient and very helpful.
Walled right in and was seated with out reservation through OpenTable. Had excellent service from the beginning. The food and drink menu had many choices to choose from. Upon choosing our appetizer, drinks, and meals we were highly satisfied. It was really good. One of the best burgers we have had in a while. Will be going back soon and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good place to eat and drink for a reasonable price.
Great food, unique ambiance
Really loved the environment. I liked the different choices of food that was available. Overall a very pleasant experience! Would go back and recommend to a friend.
The service was great! Our server was very attentive and friendly. The beer cheese burger was a good choice!
The caramel salted pretzel bites are the best! Great beer and wine selection. Fantastic service.
Interesting location but nothing special. Food was cold, they were out of many items in the list and out of ice! Has extensive bourbon list but beyond that would choose some place else. Very touristy & food was not good.
The food was amazing. It did take a long time to actually get our order, but other than that it was great.
Fun atmosphere. Delicious food and knowledgeable servers.
Great burgers, beer selection and the restaurant is very cool with the old bricks & tunnels.
Food was pretty good. Steak was a bit over cooked, and it was a lean cut, so made it kind of tough. Daughters pesto was so garlicky that she had a hard time eating it. She scraped a bunch off and ate it that way. Mixed drinks are 10 bucks, but I guess that’s normal. I would go back.
Great server with patience and personality, good food, really good night out for my family visiting Louisville.
Burger was over cooked. Great location and cool bar.
This restaurant was absolutely fantastic. Our server was knowledgeable and dealt with all of our questions being from out of town. The food was simply delicious.
