At The Tree Room, dining is an art form. Recipient of the prestigious 2017 Forbes Travel Guide Four Star Award, 2017 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, and the 2014 Best of State American Artisan Fine Dining award, Chef Eric Miller serves seasonal mountain cuisine. The atmosphere is romantic with candlelight and soft illumination accenting the Native American art from Robert Redford's private collection.

We were staying for a few days at the resort. Had a fantastic top notch meal and service was amazing. Mic was very personable and great to deal with. He went above and beyond getting us a good recommendation for wine. We had the blackened steak, and the other steak dish, which were both FABULOUS! Thanks again. Too bad we live in Ab Canada so was a real treat! It was very cozy and romantic! I would sit at Bob's table again😉

I anticipated something special given the fact that this is the gem created by Robert Redford at Sundance Resort, but it went beyond expectations. Our service was phenomenal and the food nothing short of perfect. The man himself showed up and sat behind us. An additional treat!

We've been attending the film festival a few years now so after viewing a film at the resort we have dinner here. The service is outstanding along with great food! The location is dreamy just as it is described on their website. I have not had a bad dish here and have seen changes in the menu over the years but that has all been good. At the beginning of dinner the waiter will bring a surprise from the chef, it is typically a taste of something new to expand your taste buds... and try something that you may not choose on the menu, always delicious! Dining at the Tree Room is the highlight of my vacation to Utah. Look forward to my next dinner at the Tree Room. Next time I am going to have the pepper steak, my husband had it and it was sooo good. I had the crab stuffed sole and that was delicious!

The Tree Room never disappoints! The menu is always changing and the Chef's selections are unique and outstanding. Of course the ambiance is probably my favorite part of visiting. Being only 20 minutes from this world class gem has definitely spoiled us over the years. We will keep coming back until they either shut the doors or kick us out. If you're looking for a romantic getaway in the woods, this is one of the State's Best.

The food was really good, but the servings were tiny. My boyfriend ate as soon as we got home because he was still hungry despite getting bread, soup, the most expensive entree and dessert. For the price, I think they could have given more food while still having it up-scale and beautifully prepared. My wine was delicious though, and the waitress was great.

Sundance Tree Room is a very special place. I have been going there for over 35 years for special occasions. I have gathered fond memories and had fine dining each and every time I have come.
The wine list and menu is exquisite and unique. You can ask a week in advance for a tasting menu if you know you’ll have a hard time choosing just one menu item! The clever and delicate choices are thoughtfully planned and expertly executed. This is however , punctuated by the cost of such dining... making it VERY special. I didn’t mind and I feel it is worth every penny for special occasions or for an impression .
The artifacts can not be overlooked. Some rare precious finds fill the room with the ages of story’s told, events witnessed, and passages of time not to have been forgotten. Pottery, rugs among other priceless finds were thoughtfully gathered by Robert Redford himself, or gifted to him knowing he would be able to showcase them in a way that we all might benifit from seeing such ancient lore and absorb the spiritual meaning and love behind each precious piece.
You know beyond doubt that this is not just a dining experience but more of a journey of the senses. Come early and cozy up by the fire in the library . Stay late and mingle with friends new and cherished in the Owl Bar for an after “after” .
This is a special place.

Overpriced for meals that were good not great. I eat out often in my area, Sonoma CA where excellent meals abound. We pay less for better meals there. We were disappointed.

We were married at Sundance and decided to celebrate our anniversary this year by going to dinner at The Tree Room. It was wonderful. We will definitely be making this a tradition. The service was perfect, the restaurant is beautiful, and the food was absolutely incredible.

This was the best dinner I have ever had. The Pepper Steak is perfect and the raspberry lemonade tasted like pure raspberries, never have I ever had such a fresh, real tasting lemonade. We loved the classic rock, classical guitar album, the crackling fire, and interesting interior. The staff was perfectly friendly and attentive.

I came here while on vacation in Utah. I had a great experience. Mik Severe was an outstanding host. We did have to wait about 10 minutes beyond our reservation time for unknown reasons. The restaurant was fairly empty. We should have been offered better seating away from the workstation, especially in light of the numerous open tables and booths. The portion sizes are small, but the menu items are executed to exacting perfection. I highly recommend the Tree Room for a special occasion demanding an high-end and expensive meal.

Very fancy and expensive but you get what you pay for. I asked them to bring flowers for my wife for our anniversary and they got us great flowers. They were so kind and helpful through everything. Additionally, I got the peppered steak with mango chutney and I'd go there again just for that. We also liked the salad and the berries and cream.

We went for our birthday and the experience was awesome! The decorations are so cool and we felt so cozy. The food was amazing and every bite was delicious. We tried things we wouldn't normally and all of it didn't disappoint. They gave me a free dessert for my birthday too. Definitely recommend.

So glad we could celebrate significant birthdays of two old friends at the Tree Room where the incredible food is equaled by the warm, cozy environment and excellent service. It is a special, magical place. One of us flew in from Minnesota to come to this wonderful place. Thank you for a memorable evening!
