The Tree Room @ Sundance
At The Tree Room, dining is an art form. Recipient of the prestigious 2017 Forbes Travel Guide Four Star Award, 2017 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, and the 2014 Best of State American Artisan Fine Dining award, Chef Eric Miller serves seasonal mountain cuisine. The atmosphere is romantic with candlelight and soft illumination accenting the Native American art from Robert Redford's private collection.
Excellent experience!
I have always enjoyed my dining experiences at The Tree Room, except for tonight. There is a new “no pictures” policy that applies to all pictures, not just for pictures of the restaurant or people in the restaurant. My husband and I asked our waiter to take a picture of us at our table ( no other guests remained) and he could not. I am sorry that other guests have ruined it for others, but I do not support this new policy, and will not return.
The best dinner we had in park city, a bit of a drive but just wonderful.
The food was delicious, the service was fantastic, and it’s always magical at Sundance.
Fantastic ambiance and amazing service. Hard to not love the experience. We loved several of the dishes that we got and we found others to just be okay. Loved the beef duo and the octopus appetizer. I thought the trout cannoli was good, but my wife wasn't as impressed. Dessert was lovely.
I would definitely go back.
The food and service was exceptional and well presented.
Quite expensive but the food and experience were great.
The Tree Room at Sundance is simply the best restaurant there is. The setting, the service, the food - everything about it is exceptional.
Great experience. Diverse menu. One member of our group felt his meal was not hot enough.
Went here for Sundance film festival and loved it
The restaurant is beautiful but I thought the food was mediocre. My filet mignon was stringy, dry and overcooked.
The Tree Room does everything well. The service, food and ambience are impeccable and Mik our waiter was excellent! Thank you for yet another great dining experience.
We've been coming to the Tree Room for 18 years. It hasn't changed - always excellent. Photos are not allowed.
Great food and atmosphere. We loved it and will surely return again!
Awesome restaurant with amazing service and great food.
Having lived in Utah for 20 years now, I'm a little sad I waited so long to try The Tree Room. The food is amazing and you can't beat the atmosphere of Sundance. I would never take my kids though... They can eat at McDonald's until they appreciate good food, and they'll need to have a job so they can help pick up the tab. It's pricey, but definitely worth the Benjamins you're going to plunk down for a special occasion.
Best service, relaxing atmosphere. They took care of my husband and I for our anniversary
Everything was perfect.
Anniversary - good was amazing and flavors were unexpected and delicious
so nice and corner seat was ideal for us. i would give yourself 2 full hours to eat
I felt the service was mediocre, and the food was below expectation. I prefer the Foundry Grill next door. The service wAs better, the food was prepared better and not served cold, over cooked, and for a party of 8 entrees served within 15 minutes of each other.
Fabulous food that is worth the splurge. Service was attentive but not "too much." Ambience that can't be beat, just beautiful, perfect for a special occasion. Best for a quiet dinner, not a party.
Since we are local, my wife and I visit Sundance multiple times a month but mostly go to the Foundry Grill as it offers some of the best food in the area with a wonderful, casual atmosphere. The Tree Room is more upscale and while the ski crowd does show up in casual wear, you don't feel out of place getting dressed up for a night out. Tonight we opted for a FABULOUS 6 course tasting menu as we wanted to spend some time together for our date night and celebrate my wife's birthday. Each and every course was wonderfully curated and prepared, with top tier presentation. The chef came out to discuss some of the plates and what went into them. They obviously relished the opportunity to do a tasting menu and it showed. We hadn't been in a while and they have definitely upped their game. HIGHLY recommended if you are in the area. I don't think there are any places that can top this in the area (INCLUDING Salt Lake City AND Park City and I've been to the best in those cities!)
Mt favorite restaurant in the world no joke. Great people, great food and an amazing environment.
Honestly, one of the best meal experiences we've had! Definitely get the pepper steak. You will not be disappointed!
This is the nicest restaurant at the Sundance resort. Nice, quiet environment. Good food. Very accommodating servers.
Fabulous! From arrival to dessert... we couldn’t have asked for a better dinner experience.
Amazing dinner!! We always do the cocktail and wine pairing, which makes it a fun event.
The food and ambiance were incredible. It was a beautiful, perfect, and memorable evening. Thank you!
We had a great time at the Tree Room, the food was outstanding, service timely and interactive and the atmosphere superb.
Wow! This place was AMAZING! Not cheap but incredibly good!
We had a wonderful dinner on Christmas Eve. The Pepper Steak did not disappoint as it was as good as advertised. The grouper and small plates were fantastic.
The food and service here is always amazing!! We go each year for our anniversary and look forward to it! Such a great tradition and always leave feeling wonderful!
The peppered steak I ordered was average. All the other food was good.
We were there for our 40th anniversary and the food and ambiance were perfect. The musical performer was excellent while maintaining a sound level that didn’t bother normal conversation. All of the dishes we had were great as was the service. Absolutely no negatives.
First "Nice" dinner I've been to in a long time. My company gave me a $100 voucher for a xmas dinner and I took a very good friend to the Tree Room not knowing what to expect, and was not dissapointed. The wait staff is knowledgeable of the food and the art. They serve a mouthwatering Hors d'œuvres that does not cost extra, wonderful breads, and the courses are brought at perfectly timed intervals. The restaraunt is small and though still has a restaurant feel, the ambience is quite appealing. You know you are several leagues above Outback steakhouse. I found the artwork and overall decor to be rustic, and a bit to the quirky side which helped create a relaxing atmosphere for me, not an uptight formal environment one might expect from a $50 a plate place.
Now the Food. My Friend had the Salmon, I had the Pepper steak which we both split down the middle. I can't begin to explain both in the same sentence, so I won't. The Salmon was absolutely wonderful. Cooked perfectly, not over-seasoned and really allowed the natural Salmon flavor to come out. If you like your Salmon to taste like it's NOT a northwest delicacy, then you will be dissapointed. Fantastic. But nothing compared to the Pepper Steak. That was an otherworldly, heavenly, out of body experience. The very best steak I've ever had in my life. And it's not even close. The flavor, the tenderness, Cleanness of the cut was exquisite. I've been all around the world from Sydney to Addis Ababa, to Seoul and nothing comes close, at least for me. My only lament was that there was not more to savor. But then I did give half of it away. Never Again!!
Thank you Tree Room, you provided a wonderfully romantic evening and great food. If I have any critique at all it's that the music is a hair on the loud side.
The service was fantastic. The staff was amazing! We will visit again soon!
Beautiful space. Great and friendly service. The best restaurant in that area for miles and miles.
It was great! The good was excellent. The atmosphere was a little rustic, which seemed maybe a bit weird for a restaurant like this, but it was still beautiful. The resort itself is great so I loved being up there in the mountains.
My favorite restaurant in Utah. I would recommend this place for a date, business lunch, or anniversaries.
