The hostess was very rude
Enjoyed our time, Angel was attentive and pleasant
Everything’s was perfect, except that the credit card was charged double. The restaurant is fixing the situation, but this type of things should not happen as they make the experience very strange.
I asked to be sat outside, 2 days in a row but to no avail.
Service was slow 2 days in a row as well.
Love this place for the outside seating...sitting inside with slow service doesn’t do it for me.
Tower Bar service always lovely. Loved our evening on the terrace.
Jacob was amazing and so helpful. The band was one of the best I’ve ever heard for restaurant dining. Everything was perfect!
Wonderful food and location
The Tower Bar is always great....the wine list, appetizer & main course selections provide a wide range from which to choose...
Our waiter was attentive and prompt.
One of Los Angeles' great dining spots.
Went for a business meal. Great spot. Menu for every palate. Beautiful foods. Nice ambiance.
Everything was absolutely amazing! Staff was great! So nice! Definitely coming back
We had an amazing breakfast! Angel was incredible and so attentive. Everyone was so nice...eaxctly the perfect start to the day! Beautiful setting and amazing food. My only regret was that we didn't dine there every morning!
Great venue by the pool as the perfect LA spot for lunch!
The Terrace is one of my favorite outdoor dining spots in LA. I love the ambience, the chic crowd, and the delicious food. The hostess Barbara is always so warm and gracious, and Angel is the best server on the planet.
Food was mediocre at best. Not the best value for money.
Not a great menu choice. Pleasant staff. Lovely ambience.
Terrific mid century restaurant with fantastic views of the city and great service. Barbara is the best
Amazing as always
Always a pleasure to see Gabby, great service beautiful evening!
The food just wasn’t good.
1. It was noon on Sunday, and while there is a full breakfast menu, the only menu we were permitted to order from was lunch. This is the city of weekend brunch. Additionally, we were told an egg couldn’t be added to an avocado toast because the kitchen had already switched over and wasn’t equipped to do so. Yet, the club sandwich included egg... so why couldn’t this simple request be accommodated?
2. Throughout 3 hours worth of dining, we had to flag a server down, every... single... time. There was a complete and total lack of attention or guest service despite there appearing to be a full staff.
favorite place in LA
We asked to be outside and made the reservation 6 weeks in advance only to be seated in the indoor bar area. The food was fine, but you’re paying for the atmosphere and we were not given that which was very disappointing.
A true gem. Barbara and her team are so gracious. Highly recommend for lunch.
The appetizers were amazing. But the dinner was horrible. All the fish, steaks and lamb were over cooked to well done. We asked for medium. Party of 6 and all overcooked. What a disappointment.
Amazing service! Outside of having to wait 30 minutes for our table to be ready. Lol. Very “LA scene” but food was average at best and horribly overpriced.
The best bar/restaurant in LA, pretty much, an amazing view and incredible service
Glad to be back~ was lovely service and our waiter Jim was stellar !
F’ing polietly obsessed with youuuuuu 🖤
Tower Bar is great, but our table was in the worst section despite the fact that it was my birthday dinner:(
I reserved dinner @ 5 P using Open Table however, the restaurant didn’t serve dinner until 6 P. If dinner isn’t available until then, it shouldn’t be an option to reserve that time. We arrived and ate appetizers in a separate room and had some drinks for an hour. I appreciated the service. Then we asked to get seated for dinner right after 6 P.
The seating was very nice and the music was lovely. Our waiter provided great service. The food was OK. For the price, it should’ve exceeded my expectations. The salmon I ordered was dry. The chicken my sister ordered was bland. We did appreciate the cookies that were sent with the personalized note on the plate for my sister’s birthday. My main issues were with the food and the reservations.
Always the spot for lunch meetings
Rude hostess chastised me for not confirming my reservation when in fact I did reconfirm. Made to feel we were being done a favor for having to wait in the bar while waiting for our reserved table. Wines on menu we wanted to order unavailable. Rushed through our appetizer three times. Had to ask multiple times for pepper. Attempted to pay bill in cash, but was rebuked. Server refused the cash and demanded a credit card. Mistake - I was leaving a tip up to the next $100 in cash, left less on the credit card. Had heard great things about this restaurant and brought my husband here for our anniversary. Didn’t live up to the hype and made our anniversary celebration less than happy.
Didn’t take any requisite photos to memorialize this less than memorable occasion.
The blonde hostess was extremely unwelcoming and dismissive, but I guess that’s to be expected when you’re not a celebrity here. Tower smash cocktail was very good. Ambiance was nice.
Amazing views and vibes. Lunch menu could be a little more extensive, but other than that I enjoyed it. Great customer service
Most wonderful employees
Food was ok but nothing very special especially considering the price. Excellent service and good scene
Covid Tower Bar pricing has increased by over a 100%. Let’s hope they go back to normal pricing for us regulars who have been going there for well over a decade pre Covid. 🧐.
Really $24 for pigs in a blanket? Which is basically one Hebrew National hotdog wrapped in a Pillsbury Croissant. Haha😂
Great Martinis 🍸 though, Thank you.
Wonderful throw-back vibe with a magnificent view. Power meal, check. Romantic din, check. Din alone because you are starving and everyone else you know is busy, check.
A profiled experience with the maitre D, hostess Ashley and the food and beverage manage Jennifer. Was very disappointing as we were customers for over two decades. Need to revisit lack of diversity of staff as well as training
Great atmosphere, food and service was just ok. The ambiance sells this place.
