The Tower Bar
All good but way too loud! Could barely hear my date talk!
Great food as always and great service.
Had a nice time celebrating Father’s Day.
My favorite place in LA
We were seated in Siberia but my friends didn’t notice
I’ve been coming to the tower bar for years and I love it. Such a secluded gem - feels like the south of France, beautiful views of the city. Elegant setting, great food, great service. Lobster tacos recommended 🙌🏼🌸✨
So happy you see it how I do, a slice of the SoF here in LA!
We had such a good time that we came back the next night!
Excellent everything but a little cramped.
It was my third time there, but my boyfriend's first and he absolutely loved it. The ambience is always so right and the food is consistently great. Would love to experience the terrace seating next time.
3rd time visiting the restaurant since it’s opened and the food has dramatically gotten worse, almost inedible. Fishy oysters and salmon, under cooked chicken.
Gorgeous dining room, great scene and attentive service - these are the things you’re paying for.
I’d go back, but maybe just for cocktails.
Loved the experience wish I could get recipe for the vegan celery soup
A lovely evening filled with beautiful staff, nice music and delicious food.
The patio seating with view is stunning. The cocktails were good. The service was mixed up and confused.
The food was absolutely terrible. From a value standpoint this was perhaps the worst meal I have ever had in my life. donner kebab on London street corner in 1980's beats this.
Honestly...the worst food ever.
It was amazing, our server was incredible. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel and eating at the TB bar!
Mother’s Day. Great venue and amazing service.
Always a good meal and the ambience can't be beat!
A beautiful place for brunch. Service was topnotch.
We had a very nice dinner at the Tower Bar. We were seated by the piano and upright bass player and we were worried it would be too noisy but it wasn't. The food was excellent... we tried the fried chicken and it was really good. Also the Baked Alaska was a really excellent dessert. The ambiance at the Tower Bar is great. We even saw that Vanderpump guy and his dog Jiggy!
Birthday and catch up love this place the best
Excellent foos, excellent drinks, excellent service
Servers are pretentious. Prices are absurd if you are eating inside. The view from the balcony is amazing - but if you can’t sit out there, don’t waste your time.
Always exceptional service, generous cocktails and perfectly cooked food. The truffle fries alone are worth the trip!
I called ahead because I wanted to make my friends birthday lunch special. They helped me plan dessert, along with a welcome glass of sparkling wine. I was so excited for lunch because I love the Tower Bar. The only problem was the whole place was being rearranged for an event later that evening. I wish they had told me over the phone prior to my reservation.
We had to change tables half way through our meal all while the event planners walked through their plans. Many staff members and delivery people were buzzing setting up tables and decor, moving installations and tearing down existing furniture making lots of noise.
Lunch was delicious and the service was impeccable. I’m only disappointed that I wasn’t made aware this was happening. This was my friends first time at Tower Bar and because all the furniture was moved and was being dismantled, she didn’t get a true feel for the fabulous atmosphere.
Loved it overall but if you are going to seat people inside adjacent to the patio outside & the windows/doors are open you need to have space heaters. We were too cold to enjoy our meals. LA is cold at night. Other than that, we loved it!
Lovely server. So dear and personal. The staff made everyone feel special on Easter. Ran into lots of pals too.
Eggs Benedict and the smoked salmon plate marvelous.
Cheeseburger was mediocre. Needed a more seasoned, grilled approach. Otherwise great. Sundaes always such a great finale!!
A great place to have brunch. It was bright, the staff was attentive and the food was excellent. I almost hate to give a great review as I want to keep this gem to myself.
Fabulous classy and. Top notch service and food.
Sat at the bar first for a drink, which is lovely, but man the run the AC on full here, before the room fills up. We were freezing. When we were sitting down for dinner we asked to be seated in a warmer part of room, away from draft, and we were fine. Room fills up fast. It’s quite expensive, and dishes are not as large as I assumed (filet mignon was moderately sized at $64), but you’re paying for the ambiance and experience. And it’s a great place to be if you wanna splurge and be old school Hollywood for a night.
Been there several times during the last 4 years.
Earlier experiences far better than this one.
Food was boring and below medium quality.
Waiter forgot the wine for the starters.
My visit at the Tower Bar was all in all outstanding. From stepping inside the restaurant until leaving everything was marvelous. A vibrant and inspiring setting, impeccable service and excellent food. Can recommend it everyday of the week.
One of my favorite places! Great ambiance and very comfortable.
This place. If it didn't exist, LA wouldn't be LA. I think the best way of summing it up is this classy joint, where it's out of the ordinary to NOT see someone you recognize, used to be the living room of Bugsy Siegel when he lived at the legendary Sunset Tower. I am part of Hollywood's Golden Age whenever I'm there, sipping a perfect Martini or Manhattan (or three), waited on by some of the best service staff in town. I love this place. Date, business dinner, family celebration, The Tower is a beautiful memory away.
My reservation was at 8:45 , but we had to wait almost one hour to get our table. Than, the waiter was not available until I had to waive and ask for menu. The bar was crowded and there was no place to sit .
Arrived on time , hostess took us to sit in some back area never seen before , when we asked to be in the main dining room , they said there is a 20 to 30 mins wait , while they sat us 50 mins later . Meat arrived over cooked , delaying our dinner even further to change the order again while one of my guests are his meat overdone .
Hostesses at door very rude and pretentious , when I would speak to her she would just look down without answering . Should have had Angelina Jolie at my table maybe for them to be respectful and friendly . That age is long gone , wake up Tower Bar .
Your vegan options are average at best. It’s no longer good enough to have a stellar meat eating menu and a couple of average token vegan options. You need a top quality vegan chef to update your menu. Love the ambiance. Love the history. But as vegans, we wouldn’t spend that kind of money again on your vegan menu. Thanks
I always split the branzino as it’s such a massive portion, but it’s my favorite thing on the menu!
Perfection every time . . .
Fine food and drinks are to be found at this dimly - lit romantic restaurant in beautiful West Hollywood. The real star of the show the evening we were there was their nice piano lounge .
