The Terrace at the famous Sunset Tower Hotel debuted a new look in May of 2018, featuring a refreshed outdoor dining experience with updated furnishings and an elegant new bar. The Tower Bar Restaurant has split views of the city from either side of the lobby. It offers a swank lounge, bar and an al fresco dining experience. Custom made banquettes line the windows that showcase an unparalleled view of the Los Angeles skyline. Art deco design influences include walnut with gold inlay trim in a subtle, muted color scheme. The delectable menu features California Bistro with Italian fare. A dress code is enforced, please call for information.

We are now open daily for breakfast and lunch. Dinner is offered six nights a week, Monday-Saturday. We are unable to guarantee a seating preference of indoors or outdoors. We recommend a sweater or light coat during the evenings.

A true gem. Proper cocktails. Friendly and knowledgeable waiters. Old school offerings alongside lighter, newer dishes. The antithesis of the onslaught of restaurants where you get the speech about “how our menu works” and “just so you know, chef sends everything out as ready”.

Good food 🍗 and drinks🍸are to be found at this nice staple of beautiful downtown West Hollywood 🎬. Directly on the famous Sunset Strip.Though the real star 🌟 of the show is their wonderful music🎵 of The Great American Songbook, presented live here on selected fine evenings .

We had a lovely brunch at The Tower Bar/Terrace. My husband and I both ordered breakfast food: me, the standard American breakfast, him, the eggs Benedict. Both dishes were great with eggs cooked just right, delicious fruit, tasty bacon, and crispy potatoes. Service was impeccable and we enjoyed the ambience. Breakfast was pricey but you're paying for perfect food preparation, the location (historical Hollywood), and the service. Considering our experience, I considered what we paid a good value. Will definitely return whenever we are in LA again!

I've been to TB before and loved it... but this time it was off. Server was all over the board. Had to flag him down multiple times and he didn't get our order right. Food was not up to par especially at this price point.

This place is great for a special night on the town. Expensive but worth it. Incredible food and service. Romantic lighting. Appreciate that there is a policy of no photos and no phone calls at the table. Love this place.

I honestly feel like this place is a glorified Bonefish Grill…. 1) I ordered my Salmon (that came with two choices) medium rare, it came out well done with undercooked broccoli and an undercooked baked potato that was lacking flavor, I couldn’t even tell my waitress about my salmon because she didn’t come to my table until 20 minutes later 2) I am not sure if it’s because I’m from NYC or what it is but the service is not comparable! example, if youre walking in the same direction as a waiter or approaching a waiter to ask a question, chances are they will pause and ask if you need something, every waiter was dodging me as I was trying to ask where the restroom was and cutting me off! 3) maybe this restaurant is just known for people watching? I am not sure but it 100000% was not worth the hype.

Way too overpriced. Food was alright, but nothing to write home about. Drinks were stupidly expensive for nothing that creative ($24 for a cucumber mojito!!) In all honesty this place has always been talked up to me because of it's history, and it was cool to see it, but there's no way I'd willingly go back to spend my money there. Heads up! The Terrace/outdoor dining is not a rooftop, it's the lower level pool deck with some tables smushed together (there's zero privacy if you're looking for an intimate conversation) - the placement of the property elevated over the streets south of it are what give it a viewpoint effect but you can't see the hills or the Strip so you're really just looking at the tops of trees and can distantly see downtown.

The food is not that good and wildly overpriced. Service was so slow. We were there for 2.5 hours just for dinner. The waiter never came over to take our order, we had to find him each time. On the other hand it’s an experience. Nice place, dark, live music for good ambiance. Very old Hollywood and good for celeb spotting. Staple spot in LA to visit if you’re in town. For the cost, I expected better food and service.

Sunset tower is an LA institutions for a reason. The service was impeccable. For my mom’s birthday we were seated on a banquette on the terrace and enjoyed the view. We ordered the classic cheeseburger which was fantastic as ever with the most delicious crunchy fries. We also had the beet salad and Chinese chicken, which had the most delicious ginger sesame dressing and was fresh and crunchy. They served us cookies with a special birthday message and a candle to top it all off! The oatmeal cookies were chewy and buttery! Delightful

I made this reservation strictly from Google. As I wanted a very nice place to take my 91 year old friend. She absolutely enjoyed herself and so did I. The food and service was excellent. The ambience was warm, charming, and quaint. We will be back when I visit Cali next year.
