Lunch at The Tides Beach Club was one for the records! Decided to bring my husband here (50th birthday ) and was better than expected! The ambiance was just perfect. We got to eat outside and weather was perfect. Our starter and salads (kale & apple) were delish!!! Dessert (Apple pound cake with the divine caramel sauce) was light and tasty). Service was great and everyone followed Covid protocol. Such a beautiful place. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to return!
Wow! Picture postcard view of the beach beyond us from the patio!
First rate, attentive service. The best lobster roll in town. Tasty salads. Don’t pass up the pound cake. Make an exception if you generally skip dessert. It’s that good!
Lovely outdoor seating space with unmatched ocean views. I informed the staff in advance that we were celebrating my husbands birthday, and as soon as we were seated, they greeted us with two glasses of Prosecco. Exceptional service, delicious food. Highly recommend!
Our waiter Ben was FANTASTIC! Staff was so accommodating.
The food, the view, the cocktails are 5 star. Highly recommend, cant wait to return
It was a great, quaint place by the beach. Very relaxing, food great!!
Beautiful interior space with great views even on an overcast or rainy day like the day we visited. The food was above average but fairly standard options for coastal Maine. Nice little touches like lemony tartar sauce and sweet heat in the fried chicken but nothing out of this world. Good cocktail and wine list; beer list was a bit limited for a state with so much great local beer to showcase. The experience was relaxed and unhurried. Service was fine. Overall I felt we were paying for the experience and the location. Felt a little overpriced based on food, drink and service.
Perfecto , great spot any occasion. I’ll be back
We have been many times to tides never disappoints nice food yummy cocktails
Great adaptation to Covid-19 times: lots more tables outside, plenty of distance between tables inside, fewer menu items but some are new and all are really good, staff is busy and friendly.
Great food and view at Goose Rocks Beach. Wonderful birthday celebration!
The cutest place in town , fun all the way ! The lobster flat bread was our favorite, my daughter loved her fried chicken sandwich , very tender ! Service outstanding ! Can’t wait to go back !
Ben, Kaitlin and the entire staff are outstanding!
What happen to a great mojito? The food was iffy,
TBC never disappoints. This time, we went with our three teenage kids. There is plenty on the menu for a family night out that is a special occasion but won't break the bank. The food and service, as always, were outstanding, and the setting is gorgeous.
Excellent staff. Felt Covid very safe. Our neighborhood gem.
As always, incredible food and service.
Wonderful drinks and small bites
An all-time classic.
Great to be able to dine Oceanside! The staff is hustling in this difficult environment to be able to stay open, making some adjustments to the menu to simplify. Keep up the good work. The cocktails are always delicious and the fish and chips were light and tender.
Although they were short-staffed, everyone was working hard to serve their diners. Perfect setting for a yummy lunch with watermelon cosmos. Can’t wait to return!
This is such a beautiful spot & always on our summer bucket list, but unfortunately this visit, the food was awful :-(. They ran out of the appetizer we ordered, and we had to send the tuna poke back because it was tough & rubbery. The lobster flat bread tasted freezer burned and sadly, the strawberry shortcake was dry and lacked flavor. Our drinks were excellent, however. We may just plan on drinks next time.
This restaurant in the Inn is so cute and the ambience is great. Unfortunately the service was terrible. We must have gotten a new waitress that didn’t know how to use the menu management software. We watched her fumble around trying to place the order. We waited 20 minutes for cocktails and then way too long for apps and dinner. She forgot to bring second cocktails that we ordered completely. Forgot condiments too. My seared tuna was ice cold so it has been sitting in the pickup window forever. We never got water refills either. We left before ordering dessert bc didn’t want to wait.
Stopped by for cocktails and appetizers
Very good on all counts.
Will definitely come back for dinner
Loved the food, service and ambiance!!! Our favorite!
Love Tides 💕 fabulous setting, fun cocktails like the Diablo margarita, great menu from casual to more complex! The lobster raviolis 😘
We loved loved LOVED our dinner at the Tides. Beautiful decor, romantic and fun ambiance and amazing food and wine! Highly recommended!!!
The food as well as the service was wonderful as usual
Beautiful hotel, friendly staff. Location is fabulous, beach front.
Delicious but felt very crowded at small table for four.
Things are quiet now that it is in the off-season and we pretty much had the dining room to ourselves… Our waitress was very pleasant and our food was delicious!...The desk clerk even gave us a tour of the rooms!
Always delicious and the service is outstanding. A favorite.
Would go again
This is a wonderful spot, feels more local , not packed with tourists, our waiter was great. Loved ambiance sitting out enclosed patio, very cozy. My husband had seafood risotto that was good. We started with warm crab dip, sadly served with greasy chips, little flavor. I had beet and goat cheese salad that fell short, bitter dressing. Ended with apple crisp that was too tart. Wanted it to be so much better.
The Tides is our favorite place to go for date night in the local area. They knock it out of the park with their entire menu and service every time! Try the oysters & their El Diablo. You won’t be disappointed!
Always great. Ben and Kate are exceptional
This was my third time at The Tides and I was so excited to bring my friends to try it. It did not disappoint! From our initial greeting by the host to the warm and efficient service, it was a wonderful evening. The food is excellent- such depth of flavour.
Special shoutout to the peanut butter ice cream which stole the show at dessert!
I was here this time with 3 other friends, Some came last year with me. One had not. We all loved our meal.. I have had dinner with this restaurant multiple times this summer. This night was the quietest, and we got outstanding service.
Loved the round table in front with the comfy chairs.. Had not sat in those this year..
We will be back next year and I will definitely be back many times too. I live at the Beach and love being able to walk to dinner and back on the sand!!
Have a good rest of the fall and winter..
The food was good, but we expected brunch but got only a limited lunch menu which apparently started at 12:15. The reservation was made after a “Sunday Brunch” search on Open Table so we were mildly disappointed. That said, we loved our table and the server was efficient and nice. We’ll be back some other time once we figure out the time for brunch.
Hi CKMarin, I'm sorry that your search for brunch suggested The Tides' as we have never served brunch as an option here. For our fall schedule we are opened Monday-Thursday 3pm-9pm and Friday, Saturday & Sundays from 12pm-9pm. I'm glad you enjoyed your visit, and we hope to see you again before we close for the season! My husband and I stay at The Tides every year and love dining at their restaurant. Food is
Consistently great and they have a very creative cocktail menu. The vibe is also wonderful. Pottery Barn meets Jonathan Adler.
