We arrived for a late dinner. The restaurant was starting to empty out. The waiter seemed annoyed that we ordered a salad, chowder, anda sharable plate (wings) rather than entrees. Then we were told they weren’t making the wings anymore that night so we switched it to the carbonara (which was a main entree). The salad was good as was the chowder but the serving size of the soup was quite small. The pasta was bland. Our server didn’t come by after our food was delivered to check on things. Our waters were never refilled. We weren’t asked if wanted another drink. It wasn’t busy so I don’t really know why the service was so poor. Overall, I think there are better places around town.

It took about 15 min for someone to take our drink orders and another 30 min to get our drinks. My margarita was nothing but limeade; I asked for a shot of tequila but finally had to go to the bar for it myself. Most of us ordered multiple small plates, and most were good. I loved my tuna poke but the fried artichokes were uninspired - better when I finally got some lemon wedges. In defense of our hapless waiter I will say that 5 of us asked for separate checks and he got it all correct, which was commendable. He and the management were all very nice, but apparantly overwhelmed. Overall not my best dining experience at the Tides.

Food was good, it took them some time to figure out who would be our server, but once we had a server they were pleasant. View is beautiful.

When I made my reservation I requested the round table in the lounge area due to a guest with hearing issues. The day before I spoke withe the manager and she assured me that we would be given that table. Upon arriving that table was taken. We were seated at a table with a light that was flickering through the entire meal. Our server was reaching across the table to serve our cocktails, thus spilling one on the table. The food was fine but the light was distracting. For the prices that we paid I felt the service was below par and the manager who came to apologize for the table mix up was not very satisfying. Further more the people sitting at the table we were supposed to be at only had cocktails. Very disappointing!

We have been coming here every summer and the service has just gotten terrible! It was our anniversary dinner this year, no mention of it and it was included one our reservation! They didn’t even offer us dessert just gave us our check! Really disappointed.
