Very good I had the filet and friends had the short rib, which was delicious. Patio seating is great.
A delicious brunch for Easter. Music, bottomless champagne and outstanding food!
The restaurant itself is fine, but the menu needs tweaking. As much as it seems they are trying for healthy options, there were no real vegetarian options and 75% of the vegetable apps were fried.
The service was good!
Hotel dining room looking out to the pool. Salmon was very delicious. Very good waiter and the service was great.
Foods were ok, service was not good
I love brunch at the Langham. It’s a little loud....but a great experience.
We reserved a patio table for Sunday Brunch, which I would recommend. It is much quieter than being inside. I ordered the 3 egg omelette with ham, bacon, and cheddar cheese. It was excellent. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals as well. The service was good, though not perfect. One of my friends had to ask three different servers to finally get some jam for her toast. The setting couldn’t have been better, next to the hotel pool and adjacent to an attractive Japanese garden, though you can’t quite see the garden from the patio. Overall, I enjoyed the Terrace very much and would definitely go there again.
Lovely hotel and restaurant. The service was impeccable. Great ambiance. Great place to get together with friends.
Told them it was for my niece's birthday, and no one cared to inquire or follow up with me.
Left very unhappy.
Baby shower was going on, and that got total attention and service.
Food was great. Brussel sprout appetizer was awesome. Emmy, Brett and Derek took great care of us. The place is beautiful. We will be back.
Clever menu and excellent service. Also nice happy hour and optional outdoor dining.
this is a very nice hotel set up and the restaurant serve in the patio outside, very nice environment.
The service is just fine, not at the level of the hotel rating. The food is fine, not at the level of the hotel reputation. anyway, i recommend it for the set up and environment.
Emmy was our server and was great! Food was fantastic. Grilled asparagus is some of the best I’ve ever had. Steak frites was delicious. Comped us a yummy dessert and 2 glasses of champagne for my bday. So nice. Came out with a candle and happy birthday written in chocolate. Above and beyond.
Gorgeouse interior, nicw delisios food and great service
Great and drinks amazing desserts, excellent service and nice ambiance.
The food for Dine LA wasn’t tasting that good, the environment was good. Valet parking was the worst services, there were 5-8 employees standing in the front, and they might lose your car positioning, it took around 30mins to find my SUV.
The dine L.A. menu is awful. Nothing tastes good. Beet salad is just cut beets in a plate, not a dish, skirt steak is hard to chew, dessert tastes funny. I couldn't finish it. Not worth it at all.
Food was ok. For the money, other options have more value. The people at next table were extremely noisy.
Recently dined at the Terrace and the food and service was outstanding. The menu had a wide variety of selections and the food was exceptionally prepared and presented. Would definitely recommend and return. Beautiful surroundings. Everything was top notch.
Brunch, Quick Bottomless Mimosas, Overwhelming California views & weather. Life is good in the blue!
Finally got to check out the brunch at the Langham this weekend and I must say it does impress. The brunch buffet with an omelette station, dumpling spread and unlimited mimosas for $60/pp is good value for money. There are also Ala carte options for non buffet fans. The pool side seating is very casual and took me a little by surprise for a luxury hotel I did expect a little more of an ambiance. The waiters are very attentive and there is also live music on the weekend. Valet is the only option for parking and is quite reasonable for $6. I would recommend the buffet here .
Birthday. But they never acknowledged it.
The place looks old now floors not so clean table not set for the holidays like flowers . Chairs need some remodeling windows bare . For Xmas eve dinner spent one hundred each with just one drink. Sorry it used to be grand
This place is iconic and everything an icon should be. It is beautiful, lively and grand. I recommend this for tea, fine dining, casual dining and an evening at the bar. The Langham is not to be missed.
This was our 2nd.visit. The first was dinner with a cousin who lives in Mass. and we hadn't seen him in years. He is a "foodie" and we all had a wonderful dinner with wine and....conversation and best of all- we were never hurried- it was long, wonderful event.
Because of that evening we suggested it to our friends, she's a jazz singer and has never been to the hotel, to meet for dinner. Most enjoyable.
Meh. Overpriced pedestrian hotel food
We had a light lunch. Very good food. Service was excellent, prompt, polite. We were setted on the terrace and my only observation is the fact that we were facing the pool, not the best view.
My partner and I went to The Terrace to celebrate our anniversary. Usually we have a good experience. Unfortunately the food left a little to be desired. I had the Turkey Cobb Salad. All the ingredients I asked for where there, including a hard avocado! Wait?!? I shouldn’t have had a hard avocado in my salad. I had to ask my server about this. He apologized, he brought me a ripe avocado by the time I finished my salad, too late! We’ll have to reconsider going to The Terrace again.
Outdoor seating a must. Extremely noisy inside. Pleasant but not particularly efficient service. Food nothing special, standard fare. Nice variety of menu choices.
Always a nice place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. One big problem, however, is the direct sunlight that cooks you in your seat, if you sit at a table on the left side of the restaurant. That there aren't blinds installed to shield a person is a real crime. It makes an otherwise pleasant experience virtually unbearable.
Always amazing. The staff is excellent. We love to eat there.
Too much flys flying around the table
Beautiful setting for a special-occasion lunch with outdoor seating at historic hotel. $6 discount parking was appreciated.
It was a beautiful day in Pasadena. The area is stunning and the hotel is magnificent. The food was good and the views of the pool and surrounding foliage was wonderful. An associate and I were able to talk some business ideas and it was a nice afternoon lunch. We'll definitely be back. It's truly a beautiful place.
We love it here. It is always so tranquil and relaxing. The service is always impeccable and the food is delicious. I don't go to brunch often; however, when I do, I make it a means to come here when I can!
My wife and I stayed at The Langham Huntington Hotel on 10/7/17 for our Anniversary and took a chance on the Terrace Restaurant and we were very happy we did. Service at the restaurant was outstanding, food was terrific and price was reasonable considering the quality. I want to especially note "Christopher" who was both knowledgeable and friendly. Our main waiter was also fantastic but I don't remember his name.
I had the Sea Bass which was beautifully prepared. My wife had the Scallops and even though there were only 3 large scallops, it was delicious. To top it off we had the Chocolate Souffle dessert with a yummy mint cream sauce. So good. And they gave us a nice complimentary additional chocolate dessert that we gobbled right up.
We dined early (6:30pm) so they gave us the best seat in the house. There was some noise later from a table with several kids but it is a very kid and family friendly hotel and I appreciated that aspect of the place. If you want a more serious totally upscale experience then I am sure the other steak house in hotel called "The Royce" would be a good bet.
I have nothing but the highest compliments and appreciation for the food and service at "The Terrace."
Wow, what happened to this venue? The hotel that was once the Huntington and then the Ritz-Carlton became The Langham; it has the glorious building, grounds, and furnishings, but no sense of excellence when it comes to the restaurants. A grand hotel's main everyday restaurant should have very good food (every Ritz and Four Seasons has such a place) but on the day we were there The Terrace served up bread that was more than a day old, "braised pork belly" that was dry and tasteless (restaurant fads are dangerous, and "pork belly" has hit its peak when the kitchen does not get that pork belly is supposed to be gelatinous with lovely fat and reduced stock) and a chicken wrap with dry tasteless chicken and a very stale tortilla. The cold corn soup was OK, but honestly, the fast food at Starbucks is way superior. The ambiance is good (it's a fine old building) but even that was spoiled by pool laundry staff trudging huge very noisy carts the entire length of the pool--four of them, one every 10 minutes (there's no other path from the laundry to the pool's towel room?)
Sunday Brunch is a treat here. Bottomless mimosas, excellent service, wonderful food stations and lovely jazz.
The room was not crowded-there was a huge dinner group on the upper terrace but there was no interference as far as the regular diners below. It was a quiet and ultra pleasant experience.
there were three of us catching up on the years we haven't seen each other.
