Great service. Beautiful ambiance. Food was excellent.
that day service was super slow. it took forever for our food to arrive. our waiter was great but the server who poured us water and packaged my leftover was not very nice AND at the end of the meal he took my leftovers to package but never brought it back. i do like to go to the terrace still since it is inside langham and after our meal we walked around the beautiful hotel. parking is valet and of course is expensive
This is the best brunch buffet I have been to. All the food is delicious and the service is impeccable. It’s definitely expensive but worth it for a special occasion.
The Langham is amazing, through and through. Our dinner at the Terrace was wonderful and our server Armando was the best. The clam chowder, steak, and pork belly was perfect. The Cabernet Armando recommended was lovely, and our cocktails were great too! My favorite place in the world!
Dine LA 2020, great dishes and great value
The food was less than average. It was my friends birthday. I will not be eating here again anytime soon..
The food was OK, but the service was very poor. Our young nephew's hamburger came, but he had already eaten most of it before the catsup arrived. The entire lunch was a long wait, but this was not the fault of the servers. They were working very hard, but they did not have enough help. We would hesitate before coming here again or recommending it to others.
We went for New Years, which was a prix-fixe menu. We knew that in advance, but not what was on the menu or how much it was. The food was NOT good - incredibly mediocre, and not a fabulous selection in my opinion. And we ended up having to sit outside by the pool because there "wasn't room inside" without a wait, even though we had a reservation. There were heat lamps but it was still very cold. Service was OK, not exceptional. And then when the bill came we nearly fell out of our chairs. Most expensive meal we've had in a long time and absolutely the worst food we've had in recent memory. We wanted to have a special last meal for 2019, and instead, we will just remember it for how bad it was. We will not be going back.
New Year’s Eve. Food was good but not great. Service was excellent. I love the Langham so had a great time regardless.
My wife and I were having dinner there on NY eve so my poor review might not be the norm. It took us almost 3 hrs to eat. Service was slow at best. The menus was preset with some really odd choices. The selections were so weird we didn’t eat half of our selections. It was like they’re going for unusual rather than tastes good. For $110 PP , the food was too unique for us. We only had two choices for each course, crazy taste and crazier. The staff didn’t even say anything when they removed or uneaten dishes. Stay away on a busy night.
I love The Terrace at The Langham. It is consistently delicious with minor seasonal changes to the menu. The service is always first-rate! I know that I am going to have a lovely time whenever I visit The Langham.
Just what we wanted - quiet, excellent service, able to talk and catch up.
We thoroughly enjoyed brunch at the Terrace in the Langham Pasadena. We were with long time friends to catch up & the servers took care of us at every turn - even made us a plate of dim sum because we were there too early for that buffet. Above & beyond! Flavors for a buffet were top notch. Truly an amazing venue & thoughtful staff - definitely give this place a try ❤️
Everything was wonderful but I’m worried because even after a reservation on Open Table, they couldn’t find our reservation on their computers. Nonetheless everything was flawless from the service to the ambience to the food up to the dessert!!
Everything was just perfect! Service from everyone was outstanding!
The food options were not the greatest--turkey, duck, ham and veggie. There was not red meat or fish option. After paying $85, you'd expect it. Also, the entertainment was not enjoyable.
Ordinary food served overcooked. Cold, late. Ham and turkey for that price??? Room jam packed and noisy. Very disappointing Christmas eve dinner. Not Langham quality.
We had a lovely time visiting Terrace for the first time! We can’t wait to come back.
The food was good. Filet, and the crab salad. Quality ingredients with nice plating, although the salad was odd. On one half of the plate was the crab, cucumber, et cetera, and on the other side of the plate was a 1/4 wedge of iceberg lettuce. No creativity at all. Kind of like, here's your plate of ingredients. You figure it out.
Fabulous food and comfortable setting
Celebrated holiday brunch with a friend. Very enjoyable. Loved all the different Christmas trees
Christmas office party
The Terrace at The Langham is a wonderful place for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. The food, service and surroundings are all amazing. We have had several wonderful meals at The Terrace. Highly recommend! If you have friends or family visiting for the holidays The Terrace is definitely a place to visit ...especially for Sunday Brunch!
Prime rib (3 course meal) was best value and delicious. The braised short rib over grits was very good. Service was attentive and helpful in selecting main dishes and dessert. Really knowledgeable and warm people. Would go again for a couple’s dinner.
Today's 80th birthday celebration with 12 of my dear friends and family was such a special treat at the Terrace at the Langham. Our service was exceptional and everyone one of my 12 guest enjoyed their selection from our special menu. I love the Chocolate Banana Mousse Pyramid that was so artistically created and so delicious.
Dining at the Langham is especially nice when celebrating a special occasion.
A family brunch.
The breakfast buffet at The Terrace, on a Saturday morning, is a lovely way to start the holiday season. My friends and I have made it a tradition. We enjoy the lovely decorations, ambiance, attentive service. The food is good, varied, and more than ample.
Reserved table with the special of half price cocktails but we got charged full price
We went to the restaurant and realized the restaurant was in remodel, no clear direction to guide us. There was no staff coming to serve after we sat down for 20 minutes. Each time we needed a service, there was no staff around. The service has been decking so much since we went there several months ago.
Extremely overpriced! $22 for mediocre burger with soggy luke warm fries. $20 Bin Mah sandwich was a joke.. have had 1000 times better for $6.00
In a time where the hustle of the day seems to mimic a banal and chronic state, time here was rather the opposite. Mostly all where in the Langham Club Lounge (which is were we met after) yet the Terrace was warm and inviting. Carrots were not of a variety that I could recite within seconds.
Recollections of Langham secrets were aboud while decending the spiral staircase looking up to view an item embedded in the beveled glass and I recalling the "why" that lead me to research . Congrats to the Langham, Pasadena on the 2019 Tripadvisor award of Excellence---one of thier many awards.
Fire roasted carrots delighted the vegetarian diner and being served on plateau of tahini, berbere spice, yogurt and the slightest hint of maple was "lecker." Atlantic Salmon on china with its white flake and smooth in-mouth texture ignited a certain sparkle in a diners eyes. Bravo to Sous Chef Denise Ruiz.
My friend and I enjoyed a very nice lunch after a morning at the Spa. The grilled cheese and tomato soup are delicious. The hotel is beautiful.
Lunch menu seems more limited and pricey. Ordered Cobb salad tossed, but it wasn’t served that way so I had to send it back.
Really awful service. Food took 45 min server never apologized or explained why. Could’nt even enjoy my food because I had a hungry baby and Paid full price
I've never been disappointed with the food and service here! The staff is very attentive:)
Everything that I've tried so far is delicious, brussel sprouts with bacon bits, scallops, braised pork belly...the list goes on! For dessert Ihighly recommend the lemon poppy seed cake with lemon grass infused vanilla ice cream.
Our first visit to The Langham, it will not be our last. Lovely setting, fantastic service and a great range of food on offer at the buffet. The fresh egg station was a highlight (as well as the mimosas). Thanks to all the staff for your attentiveness, definitely a great Sunday Brunch spot. We just need to return to try the rest of the menu.
Always a treat to visit this beautiful place.
I reserved a table for my wife's birthday dinner, also specified such a special event on the remarks section in Opentable. However, there was not even a candle display on any of our desserts. The prime rib that my wife ordered was overcooked, but I do not want to make a scene at her birthday dinner. Even though there was a valet parking discount for dinner guests, the amount they charged us for parking after the discount was still unreal. The only thing that I like about the Terrace was the quiet ambiance, and it was not difficult to book for Sunday night dinner.
It is a wonderful restaurant.
The ambience was beautiful the food was pretty good the prices we’re about what you’d expect being at a five-star hotel yet at 7:30 in the evening still having kids screaming in the pool nearby playing Marco Polo was a little bit irritating
