About The Teahouse Restaurant

Very enjoyable evening. Food was enjoyable. Our server a young woman from Estonia was delightful and as we were late diners the personal service and interaction with her was delightful

Our dinner was a well-balanced mix of flavours with fresh ingredients. My steak was well seared and cooked to a perfect medium-rare, accompanied with fresh greens. My wife's steelhead salmon was also well broiled and flavourful throughout. An excellent selection of wines (we chose a Pinot Noir and a Chianti) were the perfect complement to the wonderful meal.

Very nice as always. It was the first time I went on a stormy night in winter so we didn't get the view but the food and the service were great as usual. One warning, watch where you park. Parking was free around the restaurant (> October and 6pm) but we had to park at Third beach and ended up with a ticket

I brought my husband for his birthday. The positive experience started from the moment we were greeted upon entering. The staff was exceptional; the food was wonderfully presented and delicious; the room of course has great ambience. At the end there was a small little lit candle on the dessert plate for my husband. Just perfect!

The only downside was the parking ticket we got. We got distracted when we arrived and forgot to pay for parking. Too bad that thete is not free paring for patrons.

Beautiful setting with a view of Vancouver Harbour. We had a late lunch on a sunny day, but it would have been nice even in the rain. The service was friendly and attentive.

This meal was quite outstanding. I am a vegetarian so I often eat pasta at various restaurants. The mushroom ravioli was the best I've ever eaten, bar none!
We were hosting two friends from Toronto and the entire evening was quite memorable.
The service (our server was a young woman from Milan) was impeccable.

Good food and good service, as always. Entertained an out of town guest - the Teahouse is one of three restaurants we take out of town guests to dine.

We are somewhat regulars to the Teahouse. It's a great place to take out of towners or for special occasions. The service and the food are consistently good, and you can't beat the view on a clear night.

We were showing off Vancouver and Stanley Park to friends visiting from New York. We had a good view of the sunset and excellent food. The noise might have been lower if there were not a large wedding party happening at the same time. We'll have to go back another time to see if it is quieter.

We had a lovely brunch on a sunny Sunday morning. The highlight was the attentive, professional service from our server - really spot on with pace and attention. We had the smoked salmon raft and Belgian waffles - both of which were fresh and tasty. Highly recommend if you are in the Park.

The restaurant and scenery were outstanding. However, we had to wait almost two hours to get a cab back into town. Until Uber returns to Vancouver, we will not return to this restaurant as the taxi service in Vancouver is terrible.

Went here for anniversary brunch. Best omelette and Belgian waffles that we have probably ever had.

Excellent service.

May be a bit pricey, but for the location and for special occasions it is well worth a visit.

We enjoyed an excellent 3 course prix fixe meal for $39. The shrooms were delicious as was the spicy fried cauliflower. The duck confit entree was very tasty as was the linguine con Vongole. Creme brûlée for the dessert was a winner and the cheesecake also.

The meal was just ok - It was Thanksgiving & they had a 3 course Thanksgiving menu. The salad & desert were th ml klovely but the main course Turkey dinner was only ok - I really expected it to be nicer. Wet dressing - plate presentation was poor - white meat was moist but there was no choice or option for some dark meat - it was more like cafeteria food. I've had great meals at the Teahouse but this wasn't one of them.
The setting however saved it - we had a table by the fireplace with a gorgeous view of the sunset
and I didn't have to cook or clean up a turkey dinner!

The service was good however very rapid. We could barely finish our soup and the main course was delivered, the same foe dessert.
We just felt very rushed.
The Carrot soup needed salt and pepper. We asked for it to be very hot, which it wasn't when it arrived.

Went for thanksgiving dinner 3 course menu
Was not impressed - no maple beets and very minimal goat cheese in salad. There was no honey Dijon butter on the carrots, just tasted as ‘steamed’.
No bourbon flavor to the dessert whipped cream. Overall disappointment... :(
Will not return

Went for Canada thanksgiving dinner. What a ripoff.
They had a turkey roll for the traditional dinner. I would have done better staying home and had a frozen turkey TV dinner.
Service was spotty, and had to get an go to another table to get a salt shaker.

This is a great space. A very cozy place for empty nesters like us to have a Holiday Dinner! The service was great! My Turkey dinner was tender and delicious, my partner's wasn't as good. Different slices from the bird, I would assume. The sound level, where we sat is pleasant and the view of the sunset which went on and on was amazing.

Have eaten at The Teahouse before and expected another nice experience. Although the food and service were okay, we were first to be seated at a table for two where one had a view of the "backyard". I had requested a "nice table" for an anniversary and so were relocated to a centre table. Nothing special. The room we were seated in was quite full and really noisy. We will rethink Sunday brunch next time and mostly due to acoustics.

Server was attentive but not "over the top" which we all appreciated. Was honest about his own favourites and which choice he actually would choose when asked. When I'd made the reservation I had said we had a person on crutches. The table we were given was perfect.
