About The Teahouse Restaurant

Drive through an evergreen oasis and dine beneath towering trees on the oceanfront, at The Teahouse on Stanley Park’s Ferguson Point.

One of Stanley Park’s historic seaside landmarks, this popular meeting spot is minutes from downtown Vancouver and boasts an outdoor fireplace on the restaurant’s patio, which looks out to sunset views of Georgia Strait from the western tip of Stanley Park.

The natural west coast atmosphere is perfectly enhanced by Executive Chef Alan Tse's cuisine using fresh local ingredients.

For private events, the Teahouse has three distinct rooms; perfect for seminars, meetings or special occasions of any kind. Each room offers ocean views that are unmatched in Vancouver.

The Teahouse is a contemporary dining experience with a difference, accompanied by the longest sunsets in the city.

We had a very pleasant lunch. Robert was very personable and attentive. I had the vegetable, tofu/rice bowl. There was quite a bit of rice amd so actually think it might have been bettering quinoa was used. We all loved the grilled avocado. The flat iron steak was good but could have used a bit more seasoning or a bit of a sauce/glaze.

Valentines. Food and service were great. Hostess very awkward. Floral delivery either did not show up or didn’t grt placed on our table.

For the price, you’re paying purely for the ambiance. If you’re looking for somewhere with better food or service, look elsewhere in downtown. Hawksworth and Yew are much better choices.

Our server John was phenomenal. We were there to celebrate Valentine’s Day and expected a great meal and special view but had no idea of the level of service we would receive at the Teahouse. Everyone was friendly and helpful and John’s personal stories made our night. We will absolutely be making this the de facto spot for special meals for us.

Service is impeccable, food is good if not original. View is splendid just a tad touristy with the odd coach dining there. Solid choice for a date in Stanley Park

We've been there many times over the past 20 years and always a favorite :) We had friends in from Montreal and it was a beautiful spring evening albeit dark out at 7 PM the ships in English Bay at anchor and the lights of West Vancouver made a nice backdrop.

Perfect intimate atmosphere for special occasions, small groups, and date night. Not too many young people on their phones. More mature crowd that is respectful of others' dining experiences. Great location for a semi-public proposal (our experience).

Staff are friendly, efficient, and knowledgable. Management is experienced and their intuition for timing and special occasions is outstanding.

Was disappointed with the Caesar salad. A few pieces of Romaine lettuce and minuscule amount of a creamy dressing was all.
I like anchovies, garlic croutons and dressing made at the table.

Very good but very noisy...but I guess that cannot be helped.
Alot of different waitresses or staff ....it seemed like we were served by about 4 different people & only 2 of us..just a different person each time..lol.....not a bad thing...just sayin.
My friend got there prior to I did so I was wondering IF you are allowed to eat a meal in the what I guess was the "bar area" ... small dining area just outside the bar...it seemed much quieter and only 2 people at one table were in there.

We have decided that dine out ,though tempting menus, doesn't really offer particular great value, (not just here) as sometimes one wouldn't necessarily have dessert or starter anyway.

Our 'go-to' place for special occasions, usually lunch or brunch. Bonus this time was the Dine Out Vancouver menu! Love the ambience and the view, no matter what the weather. All the service staff were excellent.

Had a lovely evening here with friends. Found the dine out eggplant entree a little too "lite" for dinner and left feeling a little hungry. An otherwise highly enjoyable evening :)

Came for dine out with a friend. The food was incredible; steak cooked to perfection. The highlight of our meal was the service though- I believe her name was Liisa. She was fantastic, super attentive and had a personality (rarer and rarer in Vancouver). I wanted to find a manager to tell them to hold on to her but I didn’t see any come around. I’ll purely be back to sit in her section from now on- it was a great meal experience with such ease! Well done!

Magical in the winter too! I think the tea house sometimes falls off people's radar in the winter, when Stanley Park is much quieter, but it's such an inviting place to go on a rainy, Vancouver night. It's easy to get to both from the North Shore and Vancouver, parking is easy and free after 6 p.m. in the winter. And as always the food and service are top notch
