About The Teahouse Restaurant
Drive through an evergreen oasis and dine beneath towering trees on the oceanfront, at The Teahouse on Stanley Park’s Ferguson Point.
One of Stanley Park’s historic seaside landmarks, this popular meeting spot is minutes from downtown Vancouver and boasts an outdoor fireplace on the restaurant’s patio, which looks out to sunset views of Georgia Strait from the western tip of Stanley Park.
The natural west coast atmosphere is perfectly enhanced by Executive Chef Alan Tse's cuisine using fresh local ingredients.
For private events, the Teahouse has three distinct rooms; perfect for seminars, meetings or special occasions of any kind. Each room offers ocean views that are unmatched in Vancouver.
The Teahouse is a contemporary dining experience with a difference, accompanied by the longest sunsets in the city.

The Teahouse Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Valentines. Food and service were great. Hostess very awkward. Floral delivery either did not show up or didn’t grt placed on our table.
For the price, you’re paying purely for the ambiance. If you’re looking for somewhere with better food or service, look elsewhere in downtown. Hawksworth and Yew are much better choices.
We've been there many times over the past 20 years and always a favorite :) We had friends in from Montreal and it was a beautiful spring evening albeit dark out at 7 PM the ships in English Bay at anchor and the lights of West Vancouver made a nice backdrop.
Perfect intimate atmosphere for special occasions, small groups, and date night. Not too many young people on their phones. More mature crowd that is respectful of others' dining experiences. Great location for a semi-public proposal (our experience).
Staff are friendly, efficient, and knowledgable. Management is experienced and their intuition for timing and special occasions is outstanding.
Very good but very noisy...but I guess that cannot be helped.
Alot of different waitresses or staff ....it seemed like we were served by about 4 different people & only 2 of us..just a different person each time..lol.....not a bad thing...just sayin.
My friend got there prior to I did so I was wondering IF you are allowed to eat a meal in the what I guess was the "bar area" ... small dining area just outside the bar...it seemed much quieter and only 2 people at one table were in there.
Came for dine out with a friend. The food was incredible; steak cooked to perfection. The highlight of our meal was the service though- I believe her name was Liisa. She was fantastic, super attentive and had a personality (rarer and rarer in Vancouver). I wanted to find a manager to tell them to hold on to her but I didn’t see any come around. I’ll purely be back to sit in her section from now on- it was a great meal experience with such ease! Well done!
Magical in the winter too! I think the tea house sometimes falls off people's radar in the winter, when Stanley Park is much quieter, but it's such an inviting place to go on a rainy, Vancouver night. It's easy to get to both from the North Shore and Vancouver, parking is easy and free after 6 p.m. in the winter. And as always the food and service are top notch
We loved our experience at The Teahouse tonight. The service was really great — water was always full, lots of bread offered and we were given a lot of attention to detail. We came here for dineout — everything we ordered was great!! Can’t go wrong with the entire menu. We also added the stuffed mushrooms which were delicious as well. We didn’t have a good experience in the past but tonight definitely made a good comeback! We will definitely return in the future.
Beautiful setting facing the water. Lovely ambiance and great historical house and history if the server can give you some details. Professional server and food is overall good. I was with a group of six through Dine Out for lunch. We ordered both from the Dine Out and also their brunch menu. I had the celery salad, seafood mix entree, and also the chocolate brownie type of cake (names not exact). I had a taste of my friend's Eggplant & Kale entree and Butternut Squash soup and also Creme Caramel. They were all good and timed well in terms of cooking just to the right amount of time.
