Drive through an evergreen oasis and dine beneath towering trees on the oceanfront, at The Teahouse on Stanley Park’s Ferguson Point.

One of Stanley Park’s historic seaside landmarks, this popular meeting spot is minutes from downtown Vancouver and boasts an outdoor fireplace on the restaurant’s patio, which looks out to sunset views of Georgia Strait from the western tip of Stanley Park.

The natural west coast atmosphere is perfectly enhanced by Executive Chef Alan Tse's cuisine using fresh local ingredients.

For private events, the Teahouse has three distinct rooms; perfect for seminars, meetings or special occasions of any kind. Each room offers ocean views that are unmatched in Vancouver.

The Teahouse is a contemporary dining experience with a difference, accompanied by the longest sunsets in the city.

Had a fabulous meal of halibut and salmon, chacuterie board, soup and dessert. All very tasty overlooking the water. Flowers were gorgeous. Such a lovely place to dine.

John took care of us and he was professional and courteous. We ordered the duck and rack of lamb and it was sensational. Very nice wine options available by the glass and a terrific view.

I took my wife here for an evening dinner after work. Our table was reserved for 7:30pm. We arrived at 7:25 - we were told 'your table is being prepared' so we took a seat in the waiting area and ordered a glass of wine. 20 minutes passed then we got an update that the party had not left the table. Then another 15 minutes passed and we were still sitting at the bar. The waiter brought us hummus and bread to hold us over. At 8:20pm we were finally brought to our table. Once we were sat no-one apologized for what just happened and for the 50 minutes we waited. We had to extend our parking for an hour which is very expensive down there! The hummus plate and first drink was on the house and the quality of the food was excellent. However, we thought the restaurant staff could have done more - maybe offer us a gift voucher and invite us back another evening.

I love the location and view of this restaurant. I found the brunch menu to be limited. First time I had the smoked salmon on latke it was perfect. Service was excellent. This time the latke base was overcooked and chewy. I had to request water from the server, and then had to wait for her to serve several other customers before she brought it to us. They seemed to be a little short staffed for a weekend.

The setting was perfect and even the weather cooperated. Our view of the sunset over the water was spectacular. Our server, Gabriel, was attentive but not obtrusive. His charm added to the enjoyment of the food, which was both attractive and tasty. We felt no sense of hurry and consequently had a great visit with friends whom we hadn't seen for a long time.

The Tea House never fails to impress with the service, the location and the food. When we were dating my wife and I went there regularly and loved it so much we had our wedding in the main room. It's a landmark restaurant so the prices are a little high and in summer months the wait can be long even for an outdoor table, but we always agree it's worth it. My sister calls it 'magical'. An evening meal can be a memorable experience. The only thing I'd change is the bar/waiting area is quite small so if you have to wait you may be doing it outside; remember to dress for the weather.

A little slow for first touch and they forgot our shared appetizer platter for the table. Ambiance was great but even after knowing it was for a birthday there was no mention of this by the server or acknowledgement by the restaurant

We had a very pleasant lunch. Robert was very personable and attentive. I had the vegetable, tofu/rice bowl. There was quite a bit of rice amd so actually think it might have been bettering quinoa was used. We all loved the grilled avocado. The flat iron steak was good but could have used a bit more seasoning or a bit of a sauce/glaze.
