About The Teahouse Restaurant

Drive through an evergreen oasis and dine beneath towering trees on the oceanfront, at The Teahouse on Stanley Park’s Ferguson Point.

One of Stanley Park’s historic seaside landmarks, this popular meeting spot is minutes from downtown Vancouver and boasts an outdoor fireplace on the restaurant’s patio, which looks out to sunset views of Georgia Strait from the western tip of Stanley Park.

The natural west coast atmosphere is perfectly enhanced by Executive Chef Alan Tse's cuisine using fresh local ingredients.

For private events, the Teahouse has three distinct rooms; perfect for seminars, meetings or special occasions of any kind. Each room offers ocean views that are unmatched in Vancouver.

The Teahouse is a contemporary dining experience with a difference, accompanied by the longest sunsets in the city.

Our server seemed a little annoyed by every request we had. The overall service was not very attentive and we had to ask for a couple things.
Unfortunately while we still had our food the crew started bringing tables outside and opend the door for a long time so the whole room completely cooled down and it was really uncomfortable to sit.
We kinda felt unwelcome, due to the open door and the noises from taking down tables.

Portion sizes of food served is incredidly small for the price.
Taste was ok.

If it were not for the ambiance it would not have been an enjoyable experience that I can get anywhere else for much much less.

We had a lovely experience. I requested we be close to a washroom for an elderly guest and we were seated close to the handicapped restroom which was very much appreciated! We will definitely return. A very special location and great menu.

The location and scenery are quite nice. It is a historic building of interest. The food is little more than heated up frozen food or simple meals. The cocktails were good but all over priced.

A very nice experience. It was pouring rain outside but a lovely warm, welcoming feeling inside. The Christmas decorations were especially pretty.

Our dinner was a well-balanced mix of flavours with fresh ingredients. My steak was well seared and cooked to a perfect medium-rare, accompanied with fresh greens. My wife's steelhead salmon was also well broiled and flavourful throughout. An excellent selection of wines (we chose a Pinot Noir and a Chianti) were the perfect complement to the wonderful meal.

From the moment we walked in everyone helped make our first anniversary extra special. We had our wedding dinner here, so it was perfect. John was amazing. Nothing could have been better.

Very nice as always. It was the first time I went on a stormy night in winter so we didn't get the view but the food and the service were great as usual. One warning, watch where you park. Parking was free around the restaurant (> October and 6pm) but we had to park at Third beach and ended up with a ticket

I brought my husband for his birthday. The positive experience started from the moment we were greeted upon entering. The staff was exceptional; the food was wonderfully presented and delicious; the room of course has great ambience. At the end there was a small little lit candle on the dessert plate for my husband. Just perfect!

The only downside was the parking ticket we got. We got distracted when we arrived and forgot to pay for parking. Too bad that thete is not free paring for patrons.

If you go to Vancouver do not miss the historic Tea House for lunch or dinner set in the midst of Stanley Park. We biked the park and then had a lovely dinner. Great waiter, wonderful lamb and wine. Beautiful old restaurant, what the new glass buildings of Vancouver are destroying. Best part of the City.

This meal was quite outstanding. I am a vegetarian so I often eat pasta at various restaurants. The mushroom ravioli was the best I've ever eaten, bar none!
We were hosting two friends from Toronto and the entire evening was quite memorable.
The service (our server was a young woman from Milan) was impeccable.

We are somewhat regulars to the Teahouse. It's a great place to take out of towners or for special occasions. The service and the food are consistently good, and you can't beat the view on a clear night.

We were showing off Vancouver and Stanley Park to friends visiting from New York. We had a good view of the sunset and excellent food. The noise might have been lower if there were not a large wedding party happening at the same time. We'll have to go back another time to see if it is quieter.

We had a lovely brunch on a sunny Sunday morning. The highlight was the attentive, professional service from our server - really spot on with pace and attention. We had the smoked salmon raft and Belgian waffles - both of which were fresh and tasty. Highly recommend if you are in the Park.

The restaurant and scenery were outstanding. However, we had to wait almost two hours to get a cab back into town. Until Uber returns to Vancouver, we will not return to this restaurant as the taxi service in Vancouver is terrible.

Went here for anniversary brunch. Best omelette and Belgian waffles that we have probably ever had.

Excellent service.

May be a bit pricey, but for the location and for special occasions it is well worth a visit.
