Tasting room is amazing as always! The gentleman who helped me adjust my reservation last minute, our waitress, and the food- everything just perfect. We had the crab dip (LOVE), the buffalo chicken sandwich and the power lunch. Finished off with the chocolate fix for dessert. Couldn’t have had a more wonderful Valentines Day lunch. TR never disappoints.

The Tasting Room was awesome. We had reservations for 2 at 7pm. When we arrived, we were promptly seated and our server was ready to take our drink orders. The appetizers were good and the food was excellent. My wife I enjoyed our early Valentines Day date night. I will definitely recommend the Tasting Room to my friends and family and I will return again for another date night.

A lovely way to celebrate my daughter's 40th birthday. She had the hamburger and I had the luncheonette which consisted of a grilled cheese sandwich, tomato-basil soup, and a salad. Both were very nice. I had the coffee chocolate cheesecake and she had the chocolate chip bread pudding. Our server was EXCELLENT! So sorry i can't remember her name. Let us sit there and enjoy as long as we wanted, refilling my coffee happily. A great experience.

The drinks were great, wine list impressive but I just didn’t love the food for the amount of money spent. The NY strip was over cooked and the fish dish just didn’t have a great flavor.

TR opens Mondays, a day of the week many other restaurants are "closed" and this is a bonus for locals. Food is flavorful and beautifully presented. Portions are healthy; they're not typical American-sized, diner-level portions! Brussels sprouts don't appear "roasted" although the menu claims they are; they're flavorful but soggy. Asparagus is crispy. The Spanish-style shrimp (app) and the salmon (entrée): AMAZING!

I would highly recommend the tasting room for any meal! Brunch was great! I got the chicken and waffle. And my husband got the crab cake Benedict. Great place for Sunday brunch!

Hesitated to write a review as this had been my long-standing fave in the area. We love this place and make it every time we are nearby because we loved the food and service prior to this visit. I asked for a very common drink upon arrival. Minutes later a query re ingredients came back (jalapeno) so I kept it simple and just said give me a regular. Long story short at the end of the meal (50 minutes later) my drink arrived and the message was ‘it’s on us’. Of course it is! That’s the least a restaurant can do. If the request was too complex or a delay, better to say to any customer, if you want something else (a quick glass of wine, a coke etc) I can get it for you faster. The manager came upon request at the tail and assured me the situation would be ‘rectified’. The only thing off the bill was the drink. Whatever that meant I am not sure but the customer doesn’t care as much for internal process revision they expect an effort towards the experience. The server felt the delay was at the bar. The manager felt the request was perhaps unusual (margarita, spicy) calling for the delay. Ultimately the mark was missed to anticipate and further, to retain a long time customer by making the subtle gesture of something else and understanding the experience beyond literally compensating us for a drink. Giving a free drink that never arrives after the meal may seem generous from a standard restaurants perspective but they don’t understand that’s a given and customers come for experience. That said food was always great and experience had always been great in the past. I am not sure it’s my go to now. Better to have said this is taking too long what can I get you mean time. Manager better to rectify by addressing the customer than back of the house. Most restaurant programs would agree.

Although the weekday lunch is limited on entrees, everything our tabled ordered was delicious. We stayed with the popular choices the waitress told us about. There are no off menu specials on the lunch menu. There is no draft beer available.

What a wonderful dining experience. We have a monthly meeting in Frederick, and decided to have dinner in town. This will now be our regular monthly dining spot. Excellent food, exceptional staff, and a beautiful venue. The Tasting Room is a must (and save room for dessert)!

THE TASTING ROOM NEVER DISAPPOINTS REGARDLESS OF THE OCCASION. A BIT NOISY AT FIRST BUT THE ROOM SETTLED DOWN . THE FOOD IS ALWAYS VERY GOOD AND SO ARE THE DRINKS. ECAH AITER HAS HIS/HER APPROACH AND OURS WAS COURTEOUS AND ATTENTIVE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS EATERY.

We had an incredible time at dinner. We started off with the escargot, then the lobster chowder, and the foie gras. All delicious. Then for entrees, the filets. You cannot go wrong with that choice! Make sure to get the sautéed mushrooms. And the su gratin potatoes are rich and creamy.

This place never disappoints! And the service is always spot on.

The only complaint I would have, is the food was brought out way to hot. Burn your mouth hot. For fine dining, you should really make sure the temp is accurate before delivering.

Will be back soon.

One of our favorite restaurants. Extremely expensive but the food and service were outstanding so it’s worth it! I veered off of my typical order of lobster chowder and New York strip and instead had the carpaccio and fisherman’s stew. Both were good but I think I will be going back to my regular order next time we are visit. The lobster chowder is so good you want to lick the bowl and my New York strip is always the best! The atmosphere was too loud and at times during dinner we had to lean towards each other to be able to hear what the other was saying.

Made a note to have mimosas ready for us, and they were! Only thing is we can on Saturday for brunch, but brunch is only on Sunday’s. Didn’t see that on their website unfortunately. Otherwise, great food for the price. Entrees are between $12-30 with most being in the $17-22 range. Salads were small for the price, but tasted good.

If you are a foodie then you must go to The Tasting Room. Everything we ate and drank was amazing. The manager spoke with us about what we ordered and what kind wine we like, my husband prefers light reds and white while i prefer med to heavy reds, the manager recommended a wine that was perfect for us. Of course the price of the bottle was 3x as much as I found it when I looked online. It is a very pricey place but everything is great.

Food was phenomenal (we ordered the crab dip, spicy chicken and waffles and the TR burger with sides of truffle fries and lobster mashed potatoes)! Brunch is a great alternative to dinner if you'd like to enjoy their delicious food and save a few bucks.

This was my wife's Birthday Celebration and the Tasting Room made it a true celebration. The food was great my wife had the NY Strip and I had the Filet Mignon. Mine was a perfect medium as requested and my wife's was well done as ordered. We started the meal with two cocktails and Lump crab dip, this was a great meal at a great price. At the conclusion the waiter brought a chocolate Schobert to die for on the house. I will be going back to the Tasting Room soon, We bought loved it!! The service couldn't have been better.

The Tasting Room never disappoints. Service is always attentive and very friendly and the food is well prepared. The menu offerings are always creative. They go out of their way to accommodate my spouse, who is in a wheelchair. Try it!
