Dinner was exceptional as always! Service by Alex was also top notch, he was attentive and super friendly. The dinner menu has lots of options for all tastes while the wine list abounds with choices from all over the world. The atmosphere is always high energy but you can always count on getting a superb meal. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Perfect day to sit outside and enjoy delicious food. We had a lovely shaded table on the street. Service was outstanding. Our server made excellent recommendations, and we were delighted with our orders. Can't wait to go back.

Food excellent; mussels, artichokes, crab cakes, Chilean sea bass. Service very slow. Appetizer came in 5 minutes. After 50 minutes asked about main. They forgot about it. Manager unapologetic.

This has always been an excellent dining experience, but on our latest visit the beef on a salad was tough and the room was too cold, although after a couple of attempts our server was able to adjust it. I will continue to recommend The Tasting Room.

My significant other and I went to the Brunch for our anniversary. They brought us complimentary champagne and the food was excellent. Our waitress was extremely nice and knowledgeable. We will be going back.

While the environment is excellent, the service was ok, the food was disappointing especially for the price tag! Also, this is my second visit to this restaurant and I can say without a doubt that the food quality has gone down significantly. I will visit the restaurant in future but just the bar area until the food quality improves.

This place is great for happy hour or a nice meal. Servers are old school good - attentive and polite. Good cocktails and lattes. Delicious duck, kale, and white bean soup; and a stout so dark, you could hide a submarine in it. Fish and chips and the Caesar salmon salad were both very good also.

I visited with my husband and my mother to celebrate Mother's Day. It was during the brunch menu time. I ordered a fried chicken cobb (salad) which I enjoyed. My mother ordered the steak and eggs which she said was good. My husband ordered the bacon cheeseburger which he said was okay. He was not impressed with the burger. Our server was great and even though we had a table in a bit of a weird location, it worked just fine and we didn't experience any inconveniences. The prices have gone up (or perhaps were higher because of Mother's Day) and so the value isn't quite as good. The brunch menu is not a bad value though.

We ordered the applewood smoked bacon as a starter and it was delicious! We ordered the crab cakes and the filet as our main course, and the filet was ordered medium rare and came out essentially well done. We reluctantly sent it back and asked for another, which came out perfect. Albeit this was a minor nuisance, the Manager took the filet off our bill and gave us an extra serving of the side that came with it, as well as another glass of wine for my girlfriend, all for free. While I emphasized that it was not necessary to do just for a minor mishap, they insisted and took it off the bill. Food was very good and service was even better!

Nick was our waiter and was amazing! He kept up with our fun table and any unique requests we had. He made sure the bar was on top of our orders and made the whole experience lovely! We will definitely visit here again and ask for him!

We enjoy eating lunch at TR often. The chef adds to the menu often and the new duck soup was marvelous! Black (espresso) martini for dessert is always a great way to wrap up a lovely meal. Jarrett has done an amazing job!

We returned to The Tasting Room specifically for the filet mignon. They are well known for this dish and I’ve had it before - always been amazing! This time I was a little disappointed. It was not the same. It was undercooked and did not come out sizzling on the plate as it did in the past, which would have allowed me to cook to my liking. The usually excellent scalloped potato side dish was cold. I took the leftovers home and reheated; once fully cooked and hot - my meal was delicious! My husband loved his Rockfish dish with farro, maitake, bok choy, hazelnut broth and tarragon oil.

There are so many good things to eat at Tasting Room. For starters, my wife loves the octopus appetizer and I always order the Burrata. Main course is always a decision as there are so many appealing choices. I usually tend towards the beef. The filet is fantastic. If you like scallops, the scallops at the TR are outstanding as well. One of our favorite restaurants in Frederick.

The experience overall was incredible initially. Our wait staff was phenomenal with suggestions and the food was fantastic. The only negative comment I have is at the end of the evening, prior to the restaurant actually closing, it was clear that the staff wanted us to leave the patio (not our waitress) We choose to eat outside because of the lovely weather. There is an obvious process of locking down the patio at the end of the evening but our conversation was not complete. Instead of coming out and continuously giving us dirty looks, how about waiting until the restaurant closes and doing your end of shift tasks then? A bit disappointed for the caliber of restaurant.
