As always the service was friendly and efficient, the food was very good, and the overall experience was excellent. This is what you expect and what you always get here.
Have been to the Tap Room several times over the years. Usually a great experience. This time the service and the food were off. Will give it another try, maybe they were just having a bad night.
We made reservations for a birthday gathering of four. Strongly recommend reservations on the weekend. Menu has a lot of great options and was delicious! I chose a lighter meal, the Wedge Burger. Really like the ambiance! Service was ok, it was very busy at the 7 o'clock pm hour. Overall, we were very satisfied and we will return again! Thank you
Either the AC is broke or they are trying to save money by keeping the inside of the restaurant 80 degrees. Dinner was uncomfortably hot the whole time. Asked to have AC turned down but nothing was done or changed.
Server (John ?) was very good. Salad was not as good a I remembered from some time ago. Noise got to be way too loud.
This is our go to for everyday dining; you need to reserve in advance but we’ll worth the effort. Staff is welcoming and attentive
The Tap Room is one of our go-to local spots. It is comfortable, friendly and has a good selection of menu items so that almost anyone can find something to gladly order.
This restaurant is consistently a joy to visit. There is nothing not to like but it does get busy and rightfully so.
The Taproom is consistent and has great food. It's a comfortable restaurant with indoor, bar and outside seating.
Great food and atmosphere! Our server, Hunter, was awesome as well!! Just bummed they were out of crab cakes🥲
Always the right choice!
We had an issue with one entree. The manager promptly addressed it and we were very satisfied. We love the Taproom and will return.
Great to re-visit the Tap Room again. Great ambiance, food, and service on a very crowded night.
One of our favorites!
The server “Holly” was awesome!
Prime rib was very good. Service was spectacular.
A really nice casual dining experience with excellent food. I always order the mussels which are some of the best I've ever had!
Food and service excellent. Ambience too!
One of our Favorites. Always good food, service and a comfortable setting
Quieter Sunday morning than usual, which was nice! Always love having Nathan as a bartender; Chloe was bartending, too, and also did a nice job. Thoroughly enjoyed fried shrimp (batter is light) and fries; friend enjoyed the burger!
Another lovely evening at Dubstread. Great service, delicious Prime Rib and cozy atmosphere. Thanks so much. We will be back soon.
Was looking for a place that was different that had steaks and seafood. I happened upon their name while searching open table for someplace good in the reservation time we needed. Saw it and thought it’d be a good place to go bc we had eaten lunch there before and it had a nice ambiance, Not fancy but above average. Everything was great. My husband had the tuna steak, I had the chicken Milanese, our friend has the scallops. Sangria was yummy both red and white. Appetizers: devil eggs, crab dip, and cauliflower bites were great as well along with the corn and crab chowder. (Yes we had a lot of food!) Will definitely go again.
Great bartenders and servers. Fantastic assortment on the menu. Everything is great!
GREAT service, good food, architecturally beautiful -BUT - the noise level was horrible. I know it's a "tap room" meaning booze and I have eaten here for over 20 yrs but not routinely due to where I live. For the past year I have wanted to come back and felt it safe (COVID) enough to do so yesterday. I decided to bring a friend for her Birthday (3 of us). Honestly, we couldn't even talk until about 2:30. I intentionally set a 1:30 reservation thinking the crowd and noise would be better. NOT. Even server (I think Holly, who by-the-way was fabulous) had trouble hearing us and she is use to it. Too hot to eat outside. I would only recommend to others with noise warning.
What a great surprise find this place was!! Great food, great ambiance, away from the “noise” of most of Orlando
the baked potato was shriveled and warm. I ate it and when asked about the food, I told the manager and it was you can have another. that was nice however the overall food experience was average.
Bad Baked Potatoes (BBPs)
So, dinner was a weird situation, it ended with BBPs, and here’s the long story :/
it started great….. nice place, eaten lunch here a few times. First, I made an outdoor reservation through OT, and had to wait 15min longer upon arrival at the exact time, which isn’t bad, right? So we get to the 4 top, and greeting w/server was prompt…order Apps and Drinks. Server returns with Drinks (all good), and takes entree orders…Apps arrive 5 minutes later….doing great right?
Server checks on the Apps/Drinks and mentions they’ll bring some bread out…5min later, no bread because the bread guy is missing in action (still okay…it’s just bread and apps were tasty). 3min later the server apologized about the bread again, we tell the server again, no worries…it’s just bread. Drink refilled… all good.
Dinner shows up via food runners, kids are burgers, wife and I are steak w/ buttered baked potatoes, and the food looked okay, and we dive in. The server comes by with some bread, nice… but we are good at this point w/o bread, and server apologizes again about the bread [my eyes roll up]…. So, the server heads out, and we eat …but discover the baked potatoes were exactly like a “microwaved to death” situation (rubbery, gelatin like, fork bounces off…just weird AF)…but listen, we’re in a good mood and not picky. 10min later, server 2nd entree check-in and asks “how is everything”. I asked her politely WTF is w/ the BBPs, and server apologizes …didn’t hear anything from other patrons. Okay, possible bad batch, but the server asks if we wanted another round of BPs?…no thanks I say, and server asks if we would like to speak to the manager….I politely decline, and we keep talking with the server, because we are in a good mood, and the server apologizes twice more…asks if we want to talk to the manager. We decline, reassuring the server we’re okay, and ask for the check. So server grabs check & Manager walks over asking if they can give any BPs to go? WTF??!
For years I assumed this was a "hole in the wall" bar. I was surprised by the ambiance outside. Food was excellent, Prime Rib and a Ruben I'll return to get again. Nice cocktail selection as well. It felt like a get-away. We really enjoyed ourselves.
A great menu, fantastic food, and wonderful service.
From the time we were greeted at the door upon arrival to the time our check was paid, the service and staff were great. Friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Food was delicious and delivered just the way I ordered. Will definitely return.
Ahi tuna was aweosme!
Nice to see folks back out at the Tap Room! We will continue to enjoy the food and environment.
Holly, our server, is absolutely the BEST! Food is always terrific.
Service was outstanding! friendly and attentive.
We celebrated Father’s Day a week late. The service was exceptional. The blue cheese potato chips were to die for and everyone enjoyed their meal.
Prices went up substantially but unfortunately the portions, especially the appetizers decreased. The beloved Buffalo cauliflower used to be shareable, it’s now 6 florets for over $11. The restaurant team shared it was the same as before, but there’s literally no way. The steaks are listed as “prime quality”, don’t be fooled… another product that’s been downgraded with a price increase. Lastly, we went for the newly added baked potato. It was small, hard, and not impressive. Do better Dubsdread.
Very nice place. Prices are reasonable.
I have been to Tap Room more times then I can count. It has always been a great experience.
Our party of 5 sat in what they use as the banquet room and it was like sitting at the VFW banquet hall.My wife and kids were sat prior to me and they didn’t say anything but I would have.I would definitely go back.Just not sat in the back again.
Had a wonderful Fathers Day brunch food was delicious and the service was awrsome
Wonderful atmosphere. Clean. Food delicious, and at a fair price. And, no spice surprises, like when you order what you think will be plain ol’ green beans, but they’re so spicy hot you can’t eat them. Everything spiced for flavor, not trendy heat. Menu is imaginative and varied. Everyone will find something they’ll enjoy. Great guest service that is attentive without being intrusive. Full alcoholic selections - beer, wine, liquor - but Dubsdread is not a bar atmosphere. Atmosphere is a somewhat high end restaurant with a casual, friendly vibe. Beautiful, garden-like surroundings. Truly enjoyed our meal!
Father’s Day Sunday special was steak & eggs - yummy! We’ve been looking for our “regular” Sunday brunch place - have tried several options, but keep coming back here. It’s a done deal! Love our bartender, Nathan! He’s always ahead of our needs & has a super personality!
