   We visited The Swan for lunch to celebrate my mother-in-law's 88th birthday, it was a quiet, sunny, summer's day. Most diners chose to sat outside but we chose the peace and calm of the restaurant. Despite it being a Monday the service was exceptionally attentive, staff immediately proffered a complimentary glass of fizz for our guest. Food was delivered in a timely fashion and was very well presented and tasty. We have been before and we will return, it's almost an oasis in amongst the somerset levels.

   We had booked the Swan for a family meal with slight trepidation as we had eaten here some months ago and we found the portion sizes to be rather on the small size and not good value for money. However this did not prove to be the case on this occasion. We found the menu to offer a good choice and of a reasonable size, highlighting locally sourced fresh ingredients. Our chosen dishes were of a good size, tasty and beautifully served. The staff were friendly and welcoming, helpful and efficient. The value overall was very good and we left the Swan happy and contented and vowing to return again soon.

   A very pleasant evening fish I chose a bit expensive for the dish presented however overall I would definitely return.

   Had a meal with a Business colleague we were just in before a big group of 20 so it took 2 Hours just to have starter and Main - missed desert as my colleague had a pre arranged taxi. Food is well presented and the full of flavour , the lamb was very good and I like the way they source everything locally. Would visit agin .

   The menu had interesting choices; the ingredients are locally sourced, treated with respect and assembled in dishes that one might think one could cook oneself. Perhaps so, but not to this standard. For starters we had liver and squid, for mains we Old Spot pork and Cornish bream. The quality of the ingredients shone, the standard of cooking was superb and the taste was excellent. The service was very pleasant, at no time did we feel rushed although we out in under two hours. Would I recommend it? We booked again.

   excellent atmosphere and first class food, a good choice for a romantic birthday surprise meal. ~I love the lighting and clouds in the dining room especially the main cascade of lampshades. I have recommended the Swan in Wedmore to my friends.

   Although we had been here for coffee before, we had never eaten so I decided to book for my husband's 80th. We went with our son and his fiancée and were given a very comfortable table, a little more private than some. We all thoroughly enjoyed our menu choices for all three courses. Although busy, we never felt rushed and the service was very attentive without being intrusive. I had expected a steep bill but was pleasantly surprised at just over £150, which included drinks and wine. I would certainly recommend The Swan to anyone wanting a special meal.

    We had a wonderful meal at The Swan, the food was fantastic, lovely waiting staff and it was such great value for money. Would definately recommend and go back again.
