Great food yet again lovely atmosphere and service
Very helpful staff when we needed to twice amend our arrival time! Also they kindly positioned us by French doors, as we'd requested an airy / window area. Perfect! Tables spaced out nicely.
The food was lovely (garlic chicken, lamb shank, pizza, fish & chips, fish pie...). The gluten-free options were great - what a relief - and nothing was too much trouble.
A smoker walked past us and installed herself twice outside one of the conservatory windows, and looked cross when we shut it! We felt the ashtrays should be situated away from the eating areas; the smoke drifted straight in to us and neighbouring table.
Some of the staff were a little slower / hesitant about carrying food and we would have preferred them to be wearing masks whilst serving.
The Open Table system was great. Not sure we would've thought to try The Swan, as we haven't been in several years; it was so helpful to put in the date & time required & be given a list of available restaurants.
We will be back soon!
Great breakfast, super service - good selection on menu
Brilliant evening with two friends. The usual excellent menu. Friendly staff. All round great night.
Glad to be back in my favourite restaurant after Covid. I expect excellent. I get excellence. Friendly staff, attention to order details, food hot, tasty, properly cooked.
Some great changes in seating in my favourite front conservatory. I’ll be back for more soon.
Excellent service. We enjoyed pork and lamb Sunday lunches and pizza excellent as well.
Sunday roast was good.
What a fabulous place all round. Great food, service and decor. Highly recommend this wonderful place.
An unusually long wait for the food on Sunday, but I expect it was busy.
Portion size not great, but nice quality food.
No nhs discount offered, despite receiving it last time
The breakfast was lovely. Two of us had the vegetarian breakfast and two had the full English breakfast. It came to the table on hot plates and the food was hot as well. Often in pubs it is luke warm, so well done to the chef. Everything was cooked perfectly. The service was outstanding, very friendly and efficient staff. We were with my elderly parents and my Mum is hard of hearing, so i asked one of the staff if we could move into the conservatory as we were surrounded by a large group of people on the next table. She was very understanding and allowed us to move which was much appreciated as the conservatory was quieter. Thank you
Loved it, thank you. Food was fab and came out quickly. The staff were great!
Very good meal and service. Quite a long wait for food but they were very busy.
Seating abit close. Very cosy. Felt like they were sat on me lap
Great food, great service and lovely atmosphere. Came for a 30th birthday lunch and wasn't dissapointed !
We had to move from the conservatory as it was too noisy, and only 2 other people in there.
Food was ok, steak was a bit fatty and chewy, chips not all soft in the middle.
Lovely evening out after so long .
Great food at a reasonable value
My meal was off the special board of sea bass and risotto , fish was fantastic but risotto was not good. The waiter's was very apologetic and they offered me a free pudding , which I had of course and I choose the mini selection of puddings which was fantastic. The service was brilliant can't fault that and it's such a nice place to go and eat. I would go again .
Lovely waitresses with attentive behaviour and gorgeous food. A lovely evening.
As always, good food prompt and efficient service, pleasant and helpful staff. All-in-all, a good experience.
The table booking system was very easy to navigate. The outdoor space was private with a thoughtful layout. A high level of hygiene was being maintained despite being outdoors.
The service was welcoming, courteous and efficient and the food was up to The Swan's usual excellent standard and good value for money. All in all a very enjoyable wedding anniversary meal.
This was our second family meal at the Swan and from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed, the service was very good. We all enjoyed our meals and will probably visit again.
We booked Sunday lunch at The White Swan to break a regular journey up the M5. The food was very good: generous portions and the traditional roasts that we had were as near to home-made as I believe you can get when eating out. There was an excellent selection of fresh vegetables.
While eating there, we noticed that there was a function room that we recommended to friends who ( like us) use restaurants each year in the area to arrange family gatherings, as Worcester is central to most of the groups. There was a birthday party on the day that we ate in the pub and the food looked really good. The whole thing seemed to be well organised, such an that event at The White Swan later this year.
Bit dissapointing that not one member of staff wore a mask. Appreciate it's not compulsory now, but we haven't been anywhere else that has decided to accept the new legislation, even though Covid numbers are on the vast rise. The staff however were attentive and polite.
The food was ok.... had to send one meal back for being undercooked and cold and have to say the pork wasn't the tastiest. Expensive £15 for a burger with cheese, and a relatively small portion, no salad garnish except a small portion of coleslaw . However the seafood sharing platter was as good as last time.
We did not have anything to complain about but thought it all a bit expensive.
Everyone was extremely friendly one member of the party was late but they were very accommodating. We never felt pressured or hassled by staff yet they were very helpful when needed too. Loved the chilled ambience and good quality food. Will definitely come back.x
Always excellent food and service, never disappoints.
Booked for breakfast which was delicious, recommend the full English!
Halloumi fries were amazing. Duck salad was also very good
All a bit tired and stressy post lockdown
Lovely freshly prepared food, fab breakfast - we sat outside and enjoyed the sunshine, lots of tables to choose from then, I image evenings would be very busy as the food is really good.
Went on Wednesday evening around 7pm restaurant was quiet with a several people outside due to hot weather. We had fish and chips and pie of the day which was “Thai pie “ both meals were excellent and service great. COVID restrictions seemed a bit vague with a wait here sign before be being seated a bar, however most people were going straight to the bar but were wearing masks which was reassuring.Have not been out for a while so thought 2 large glasses of merlot seemed pricey at £13 could buy a similar bottle from Tesco for £6 but hey we still enjoyed the evening at it was great to be out.
Local. Friendly. Good food and drink menu. Works well.
we all really enjoyed our lunch in your beautiful clean cool restaurant .a nice relaxed time spent with friends .delicious food .seved promptly .
As always, great food, good service and polite staff. Good value for money..
Found it very odd they don’t do drinks menus.
Also a very weird set up having to phone from the garden to order food!! Lots of waitresses and waiters walking around, would’ve been much easier for them to take orders instead of phoning the pub!
Delicious food & Fast service. Thoroughly enjoyed it !
What a strange place. Had to make all orders over the phone when eating outside in the garden, refused to take drink or food orders in person. Never experienced this before. Food was actually really good though, better than average pub grub and garden was quite nice. Not very enthused staff at all, think they were happy scaring people off with their disdain of people sitting outside. Shame - could be a really good pub based on the chef.
Booked at last minute after being caught up on delays on M4 and M5. Food great
