Everything was very good from the appetizer to the desert.
Food was delicious and everyone loved it! We were having our Christmas Eve dinner and was very happy with the menu and the service. We all enjoyed the festive drinks and the wine from Italy.
it was a tad chilly/drafty (it was well below freezing outside), but it is an old railroad station with large windows & high ceilings, so heating is understandably an issue. dress warmly & let the great food & spirits warm you from the inside out. they know how to cook scallops properly ~ So Tender!
We enjoy ourselves everytime we dine there. Always great service and beautiful venue. The stand out of your experience will be the food. The chef puts time and love into planning- executing his dishes. Ingredients are fresh, true farm to plate menu. Most times the chef will come greet you at your table which makes it so personalized.
WE WERE VERY PLEASED.....LIZ OUR SERVER WAS GREAT AND THE FOOD WAS A DELIGHT...THANKS SUPPER CLUB....NICE NIGHT BEFORE ENJOYING KENNY ROGERS AT THE PALACE.....
There are nit enough options on the menu. Most of the appetizers are heavy, potato, cheese....not enough lighter fare.....no vegetarian options other than salad. Could use some variety of sandwiches. Breakfast pizza ? Yuk!
This restaurant is farm to table, so the menu varies. Both my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The waiter was attentive and the food was delicious!
This was our first visit to The Supper Club. We were attending the Home Free show at The Palace Theater and wanted to dine someplace close by. The menu and location sounded great so we made a reservation for 6:00 p.m.
The train station location was very cool, the ambience was nice, however the tight fit of the tables (all along a common bench seat) was not so great - it was definitely more like sitting at a community table. You are not going to be able to have a private conversation and the noise level of the conversations on either side including the wait staff was also not conducive to table conversation.
That said, the food was great - we ordered from the appetizer menu (sampler platter, hog-corn, loaded tater tots and split a burger); we had way more than two people could eat, but we wanted to try multiple options. It was all very tasty - we will definitely dine here again.
Our dinner was disappointing. Our table was separate from others but next to an extremely cold drafty window. I was freezing. The menu seemed creative, but they were out of several wines, Pocono trout, and the Alaska salmon was from Scotland. Service was very slow and our waiter had to "find out" the answer to every question we asked. This could be a notable restaurant, but was only so-so.
sophisticated, elegant, delightful
Had a wonderful time.
Uninspired "bar" menu at what I expected would be a more engaging dining experience.
The Maitre d' was engaging and very actively worked the room; very visible and helpful. Server was very friendly, attentive and energetic. Food was very tasty and well presented. Music was a plus; especially once the live guitarist/accompanist began playing. There were absolutely no negatives. One of the fanciest places we've been to in the Laurel Highlands.
The food was delicious and very fresh. The service was excellent as well. It was definitely worth the drive to get there and we will be back!
My orchestra group eats here before every concert. We were very disappointed this time because the menu was extremely skimpy: no vegetarian or fish sandwich options, only one salad, heavy potato appetizer, only one pizza choice. Prices have also gone up. Almost couldn't find anything to choose to eat from the limited options.😩
Love the location, and the service was excellent. Also, they were very accommodating to our 2 young kids (they even have a children's menu!). Food was great!
Website advertised a restaurant that was not.
We had expected more from this restaurant since our last visit years ago but the food was just mediocre although the drinks were very good. The food was just bland giving you a nothing to remember night.
Checked everything above. Just a delight no matter how one looks at it. Came alone and you don't even need company with anyone but yourself and have the best time. Thank you so much for having me.
Scallops weredelicious. ..musicwasgood....wine was tasty...husbandenjoyedhisbeeftoo.
The service and quality of The Supper Club has dropped off since the last time we dined here a year ago or so. The menu is extremely limited. The hamburger was overdone and dry. The bread accompanying the dinner was very plain. The salad was good though. For the price we paid, it was not a good value at all.
Farm to table aspect made us dine at Supper Club. We loved the venue, an old train station, service was great and food was tasty. We found the menu a bit limited but adequate. We will be back to try other seasonal dishes.
My colleagues , my wife , and myself were very impressed with all the facets of our dining experience . I would highly recommend it to anyone who looking for a fantastic evening at a top notch quality restaurant . We most definitely will be eating there again .
We enjoyed very pleasant atmosphere and staff. The quality of the food was exceptional, very fresh and wholesome. Our only minor complaint is that it seemed to take a long time to get our drinks, and there was practically no one in the restaurant.
Restaurant was lovely, food was good, not great but good. Service was horrible...Can not even remember when i had such terrible service. Ordered drinks that never came, but were on the bill. Food orders were so screwed up & he had no education on what gluten was. If we had had a another server, I am sure it would of been a pleasant experience.
Fabulous farm to table in Greensburg. My meal was absolutely delectable. I had a delicious pear martini beforehand. The food is well worth the extra price. I will be going back again! It was even fun to watch some trains go by. Very interesting venue and worth a visit.
Sorry that I live Too far away to come more often. I don't expect to be back, but if in the area I will stop in again.
The food was excellent and pricing structure great for a high-quality farm to table restaurant. The atmosphere is wonderful and relaxing. The customer service is very friendly and engaging. You must order the dessert - they are phenomenal! An all-around tremendous restaurant and hidden gem in Greensburg!
We were going to attend a concert at the Palace Theater, so decided to try the Supper Club, since it is close-by.
They have a limited number of entrees, but understandable since they try to support the local providers. They has a nice Copper River Salmon dish which I ordered, and my wife got the seared scallops. We are both of the notion that the entree should be paired with the side dishes, not everything having the same options of "baked, mashed etc potatoes and mixed vegetables". Unfortunately, that was the case here, but the sides were better: Swiss Chard with local crispy bacon, grits, and Burre Blanc sauce. I still would have preferred some variation, but actually am not upset in this instance. Saucing was a bit heavy for my taste, I prefer seafood that has a minimal amount of sauce; surely if I went back I could mention and all would be fine.
My wife's scallops were cooked to perfection. We like a nice sear, not overdone. They hit a home run on these, may have been some of the best I have ever tasted. I prefer salmon "just barely flaking", meaning it is rare. They cooked it just a bit more than that, but certainly acceptable. Very tasty!
Only complaint we had was the food overall was warm, not hot. I did mention to the waiter, who said the dishes had not sat under the warming light at all. I can only surmise that the plates were cold when entrees were plated, which cooled off the temps. A good chef should know better. But maybe I am picky since I am a fairly good cook, and warm my plates even at home. It didn't ruin the experience at all, just reduced it a bit. For the record, they gave us a dessert free (mentioned after we got our bill). I frankly wouldn't have required any of this. But it was generous of them. So overall, I would not hesitate to go back. The food is prepared very nicely, and having experienced it once, I can change as needed to have a truly top-notch experience!
The environment was excellent. The food was average at best. The salmon dish my wife ordered was greasy and slightly over cooked. I ordered the burger and while good, it was over priced for the quality. I could've spent just as much money or even less and gotten a great meal had I decided to drive into Pittsburgh.
Wanted a quick bite with friends before a show. Suggestions for ordering from host was spot on. The food was out of the ordinary and very good. Service was perfect and we made the show in perfect time. A neat place to meet up with friends.
This is such a nice break from typical chain restaurants. It was rustic but classy. They do move a little slow, but it was worth the wait.
The food was fresh and perfectly prepared. I would visit weekly- so many different choices.Service was great and prompt. It is a beautifully restored train station with so much atmosphere
You can find a burger or a elegant dinner entrée of scallops on this menu. I had the scallops and pasta with kale and portabella mushrooms - it was wonderful! The food is farm to table and very fresh. The added bonus is the live music (jazz) that we found there on a Friday night. The Supper Club is my "go-to" special restaurant for friends and family that comes to town, or for our own specialty occasion.
Went to the Supper Club for Mother's Day. Been here several times. The food is always good, but seems to be over priced. $43 for a steak that surely wasn't a $43 steak. Atmosphere is always nice and service is good.
We came in on Mother's Day. We really enjoyed the brunch. Good menu selection and fresh ingredients made the meal very enjoyable. Service was prompt and helpful. Will definitely go back.
I'm an occasional visitor to greensburg and I've been to the supper club 4 times. Great selection of farm fresh food. Great craft beers and wines. This time I had the kale salad. Many kale salads are a chore to chew through; sc's was tender and delicious. The dressing had a slight Sriracha kick. The local trout was perfectly cooked and deliciously accompanied. I'll be back.
Service was great. Loved the food. Came for the entertainment-The Mercs...enjoyed the evening tremendously!
This place is wonderful. I love the concept and knowing where my food is coming from especially because I cannot eat meat that has antibiotics and I trust their food. The home-made pickled condiments are amazing! Only downside is that the kitchen is very slow.
We celebrated a late Valentine's Day here, and were pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious with reasonable portions. We were able to enjoy all of our food and we didn't leave either hungry or with over-filled bellies. I had flowers delivered and they had everything nicely presented for us, thank you for that! There was live music (a guy with a keyboard and a lady occasionally singing), and it perfectly set the scene. The bar area is phenomenal with plenty of space to congregate and still have a place to sit. Our server, Stephen, was professional, attentive, and well represented the elegance this place is trying to display. He also made a terrific recommendation for a dessert wine. We will return, and we will bring others with us!
We had a wonderful evening. The atmosphere was quaint and beautiful. Just the way you want to unwind with your spouse. The meal was mouth watering delicious. The service was great and our server was knowledgeable and personable which made our experience great. We will put this on our list of places we will go back to.
