I was not very pleased with our experience. The water was not cold. The wait staff was not friendly. The food was not as good as it should be for the price we paid. The restrooms were nasty and needed attention. We expected the turning mechanism not to work and we new it was a cloudy evening, but there was nothing to make up for that experience otherwise. I would suggest finding something to do until rotation mechanism is fixed. Live music, complimentary drink or dessert....something to make up for the loss of experience. An update to the decir would be a great idea as well.
Service great. Waiter described menu well. Food timing came out like I'd expect at quality restaurant. Gave us space to enjoy meal. Accommodated my daughter's special food request. I specifically asked for my fillet to be medium and made it clear hot and pink; steak was more medium rare but tasted good. Very nice restaurant. More for special occasions.
Our Opentable reservations was not found in The SunDial system when we arrived even though I had picture of the confirmation from the day before!
Neat place for sure, but extremely overpriced food for what it is in my opinion. Definitely not bad food, but not necessarily worth nearly $200 for two people to eat and have a glass of wine.
You can't beat the view obviously! Service was stellar as well.
Restaurant has spectacular views, excellent service, well prepared and presented cuisine. A must stop in Atlanta for any culinary aficionado.
Very much enjoyed. A very nice place for a Sunday Brunch
Waiter was exceptional, ambiance was beautiful, and the service was great. The food at brunch was just ok but the ambiance made up for it.
We had an Anniversary celebration and I wanted to order a cake. I called many times to order and could not get through to anybody. When I finally got to the operator she had someone return my call. She asked about the inscription on the cake and I told her "Happy Anniversary". Later I wanted me to add 50th to the inscription. It took many tries to get to someone. The person that answered the phone said Ashton was gone and 50th would be added to the cake.
The waiter started off doing a good job of explaining things and what was on the menu. Then it went down hill from there. He was very slow on taking the order and at the end it took a long time to get our check. We were upset because 50th was not added. The maitre d' came to the table and said they had no record of me calling and it was a miscommunication.
When the waiter served the cake 3 people in our group declined and the slices were returned to the kitchen. I asked to have the remaining cake boxed and when we received the cake the three slices that were returned to the kitchen were not in the box.
I thought this would be a great way to celebrate our anniversary with 11 family members and to show off the downtown jewel of Atlanta. However, it was a very disappointing experience.
Went here for dinner for "date night" as well as belated Valentine's day. We came earlier than our scheduled reservation because we were previously told that if we came early that the estimated wait time would be around 30 minutes. Upon arrival we were told that they were booked up and we would probably be seated close to our original reservation time. We had the option to go to the bar/lounge area. Nice views from every angle but unfortunately it was still not spinning around. We had some drinks and snacks at the lounge. Overall the snack food was ok but pricey. The drinks were good but also a little pricey. We finally got seated and I would say the restaurant was the same as the lounge... the views were about the same but closer to the outside windows, also it was quieter compared to the lounge area but the lounge area wasn't that loud. The food and drinks at the restaurant were good but again pricey in my opinion. Customer service was great though a little slow at the bar/lounge which was understandable since they were so busy. I would come again for maybe a date night/special occasion but due to the cost I couldn't recommend for a casual outing or families. For a casual date or family experience you could just go to the lounge level/observation level for drinks and snacks.
View, of course, can not be beat in Atlanta, service was very good, we enjoyed 2 different salads, wine and the fried apple pie for desert.
The braised ribs were amazing, but the NY Strip was less that desirable for a $55 steak.....it isn't a good sign when it is tough to cut with a steak knife. We chuckled when we saw the table behind us ask for A1 steak sauce.
The valet parking and both garages were full, and we parked next door in a lot, but they would not validate parking .....surprising.
The atmosphere was nice and the overall experience enjoyable.....just don't order the steak!
The restaurant no longer rotates because of a child’s accident. This should be listed on the website. Locals know about the accident, but if you are from out of town you deserve to know as well. The food was great, the service was amazing, the drinks were excellent, and the view was breathtaking.
Parking was horrible. No valet we had to park at the top of the garage and walk all the way down, where there looked to be sewage water on the lower deck. My wife's food was discarded by mistake so she was unhappy. Other than that, service was decent, food and view were remarkable.
Beautiful views of Atlanta. Too bad the revolving mechanism is disabled now. But understandable.
Would be better if the restaurant still rotated, however, I understand the safety concerns with that.
Creme brulee is the best!
Wish I knew the valet parking is compimentary when you dine in!! I paid $8 to park across the street.
A bit pricey and food was okay. My partner said the texture of their food was good, however, they felt it could use more seasoning.
I think you're paying more for the experience/atmosphere than the food when you dine here.
Place and food were overpriced. View is ok but not as expected to be.
