An exhilarating 85-second ride in one of our two scenic glass elevators will carry you to The View atop The Westin Peachtree Plaza, the tallest hotel in the Western Hemisphere. From this level guests delight in the bird's eye view of the bustling Atlanta streets below. The View is the perfect place for observing Atlanta's famed landmarks, stadiums, and natural features.
Lounge Validation: Must spend $75 in the lounge to receive 1 validation. For each additional $75 another validation will be offered.
Alternate parking validation is available for parking at Central Parking Systems located at 15 Andrew Young International Blvd.
The Mose Davis Trio is comprised of classically trained musicians Mose Davis (keyboard), Gary Wilkins (base) and Marcus Williams (drums). Mose Davis, a former member of The Counts, has performed NATIONWIDE for 30 years and recently released a solo album.
Celebrate Independence Day with 360-degree views of the Atlanta skyline and city-wide firework displays from 73 stories up! We are hosting an exclusive, high-rise 4th of July party with 3 floors of unlimited food and non-alcoholic beverages, live entertainment and giveaways.
Our event will boast an amazing array of appetizer, snack, dinner and dessert stations. Check out Level 73 for appetizers, Level 72 for casual snacks and picnic fare and Level 71 for dinner entrees, sides and dessert. Food stations will showcase many of our seasonal favorites like sweet tea poached shrimp, smoked BBQ chicken, herb-crusted New York sirloin with wild mushroom demi-glace and more. Cash bars will be available for alcohol purchases.
Tickets are paid in full, up front, and are non-refundable. The party is from 7 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. Please keep in mind that this event is general admission, no assigned seating.
Is my 2nd visit for the same occasion, (wife's b-day) the first time we love it so much that we wanted to come back this year.
The waiter was incredible and explained everything and the food was to die for. I highly recommend.
We always have an exceptional time when we dine at the sundial. Wheather it’s meeting our friends for Sunday Brunch, having a Date night or taking out of town friends and family just to experience the view of our wonderful Atlanta it’s always a delight.
Went for Father’s Day. The restaurant is supposed to rotate. Is wasn’t. Down for mechanical issues. If this happens people should be notified, this is part of the reason people go this establishment
Overall good experience, but the side dishes let me down and the waitress took a long time to even acknowledge us
I am a repeat customer. I wasn’t very impressed with my waitress and the food was mediocre. This is the first not so great service I’ve had here. I’ve always received exceptional service and food which is why I am a repeat customer. My previous experience set the bar high...therefore I expected nothing less.
I can only speak on brunch right now.
Service was excellent from start to finish. Views are obviously the best at 360 degrees. We had the sticky bun appetizer and it was ok but my family loved it. Its literally a cinnamon bun with a honey caramel glaze on top. Lots of pecans! Mimosas were good as were the drinks and we like that they come ample size. Entrees were hit and miss. Daughter had shrimp and grits cake and love it. I had French toast casserole. Very sweet. Hubby had the surf and turf burger and said the sauce was overpowering. He said he couldn't taste the lobster at all. They are still doing "maintenance" to the rotation so it stays in place but the observatories still allow for the full view when you walk around. They say it is suppose to be fixed by end of year... we will see.
I expected the food to taste better, but it was okay. We were happy with our outing until I discovered someone in valet stole my Apple ear buds from my car.

Dined on the evening of the 16th for my 25th birthday. I must say i had very high expectations and they were met to an extent. The ambience was very nice, it was relatively busy but it felt relaxed and sophisticated. The table setting was impressive (the white table cloths gave it an elegant feel) however i made a reservation for only two people and requested to be seated right by a window to fully enjoy the view but we were sat in a booth far from a window, with place settings for like 6 people, this was a little overwhelming and disappointing because my request was disregarded.
The service could have been better for reasons more than one but I’m not going to dwell on it, his name must have been Mathew or Michael ( an elderly African American gentleman ). Its the only negative thing i can mention that took away from my experience.
On the contrary the food was really good. My date and I ordered the NY strip and the other Signature steak they have on the menu that they have had for 40+ years, and i was really impressed. Very simplistic dishes but we both thoroughly enjoyed them, the plating was pleasing to the eye, the dishes were characterized by different textures and colors ( altho the tri-colored carrots only came in two different colors, still wondering what the third would have been ) and both dishes were very flavorful and cooked to the right temperatures as we ordered them and very well seasoned. Kudos to the chef, you are the reason we will be returning or recommending this restaurant, i just wish we had gotten a better recommendation for the wine pairings. Overall we were satisfied, and we enjoyed the food the most.
Food was good but wasn’t excellent. The crab cake was excellent though. The overall experience was brought down slightly by the fact the restaurant no longer rotates and the crowd in the Westin lobby and around valet was low class.
Fantastic spot for a special occasion, but the view outdid the food, especially for the price. I enjoyed the rack of lamb and my wife's filet was quite good. Salads were unique and the dessert tasty. All that with a bottle of midrange Italian wine set me back $260 with tip. For that price I would have expected to be absolutely blown away by the food. It was very good but not $260 good
Jeff was a great server! The food was phenomenal (seriously, you must try the tartare) aside from the half rack of lamb which was a bit under seasoned, but still cooked perfectly. The restaurant isn’t currently rotating which absolutely takes away from the experience and we didn’t find that out until we had already booked a room in the hotel for our anniversary. They did do a great job of letting us know this upon making our dinner reservation, though, so my complaints are minor! Overall wonderful experience.
My first time dining here was amazing. The 28 dry aged steak was incredible. By far the best meal I have had. Not to mention the view was amazing. Definitely recommend going around sunset to get a full view of the city.
The food is good but really not worth the price. The view is excellent but the restaurant no longer spins for the 360 view they advertise.
We celebrated my father’s birthday and the staff made him feel special by making sure to wish him a happy birthday. The only thing I would have changed was the fact that the floor was not rotating. But eating 70 something floors up still is amazing. The food was great and our waiter Kim was very tentative. Overall we had a great experience.

The food and the service were great. But loses points for value because the mechanism that makes the restaurant rotate was down for maintenance. I feel like I paid rotating restaurant prices at a restaurant that didn't rotate. So if you, like me, picked this place because of the novelty of a rotating restaurant, be sure to call ahead to see if you're going to get what you expected. Also, the AC fan was turned up really high and our table was right below a vent. It was to the point where my date was freezing and all the food they brought became instantly cold. Multiple requests to remedy the situation by turning it down or moving us to another table went unheeded, even by the manager who came around asking us how we were doing.
Other than those two points of opportunity, the experience was top notch and would recommend as well as return again.

Food was great, views were great although the restaurant wasn’t revolving that day. If I had any recommendations for improvement it would be that the music is a little louder, the drinks become a little more affordable, and the parking directions should be listed on the website. I didn’t know that parking would be validated so I paid for street parking.

The food was good. The people were nice and helpful. The price was ridiculous. It’s a shame we could never go back. Definitely out of reach for every day people. I was scared to order anything to drink. The food was good. Problem is I feel like we bought $1 million supper and it tasted like Texas roadhouse to me. That’s not a bad thing. Texas roadhouse is wonderful but I can also eat there for $15.
The food is way overpriced for the quality. We seem to know how to prepare the dish that is on the menu, but cannot do any deviation in that. I wanted to sub out garlic potatoes for another potato that came as a side on a different entree due to the fact I can't eat garlic. The waiter said I couldn't sub one potato for another. Weird. By the way, the restaurant isn't rotating and won't rotate anytime soon.

Everything here is great. The Atlanta view is unbelievable. Was dissappointed that the restaurant does not evolve anymore, but I know why. Too bad prople are irresponsible parents. Now everyone suffers. Hopefully, thing can return to normal.
The food, server (Kim), and drinks were nothing short of remarkable. The true draw of the restaurant, however, is the world-class 360 degree view of Atlanta. I would be hard-pressed to say that I’ve seen a better view in 18 years of living in this city. Quite frankly, it is amongst the likes of the Hollywood sign in L.A., the top of Le Parker Meridien in NYC, and many other premier vantage points across the country. The meal costs top dollar, but the visual and visceral experience, especially for seasoned Atlantans, is well worth it.

Was a little confused on getting to my table because staff thought I was just there for the view.. but besides that it was great, friendly service!
I ordered the vegetable pasta which was good but something was missing, couldn’t quite pinpoint what. I added some salt but it wasn’t that.
Was going to try the lava cake but I was somewhat on a budget so I ended up not ordering it
One floor is all the nice white cloth tables, and then the next floor is the view, that you can walk around and take pictures

This was my first visit. Although the rotation feature was off the views were still great. I like the viewing areas provided. I enjoyed the food and the service from LaCorey.
My husband and I were celebrating our 11th year anniversary and we decided to come to the Sun Dial for a first-time experience. We were not displeased! From the moment we stepped off the elevator to the moment we returned to the elevator our experience was extremely breathtaking and left a magical romantic imprint in our hearts and mind. We truly enjoy our experience and we will definitely be back more often for special occasions. Thanks to all the wonderful staff who treated us like a King and Queen on our special day. We will never forget this day!

I made my reservation through Open Table. That worded well.
About 2 hours prior to reservation I received a voice message informing me that the restaurant no longer rotates and asked me to return the call, number verbally provided, to re-confirm reservation.
The call id was a Westin corporate office number. I called the restaurant direct number verbally provided but the call was not answered. I made 3 attempts to return the call, as requested, each with no answer.
My experience, apparent planned timing to inform potential clients of the restaurant not rotating, though NOT indicated on Open Table, near the reservation time. Planned ‘head fake’ to request I return call the specific number provided with apparent no intent to answer my return call. Apparent planned deception.
Upon arrival the hostess was not very personable, not very informed.
I arrived 20 min early for 5:30 reservation. I was then informed the restaurant opened at 5:30. I asked if the Bar was open so we could have a pre-dinner drink. We were informed the bar was closed to public due to a private party. I will say that I have been to many venue where private parties are occurring. Almost never does a restaurant close all options to the public as a result. Poor business model.
I requested of the host that we be seated promptly at 5:30 as we had an event following dinner, there was virtually no reaction to my request.
I finally had to enquire about being seated only to learn that someone else had been seated under my reservation name. We were walked to the table planned for me only to see the persons who took our seating. We were then seemingly walked nearly full circle around the seating area to attempt to seat us at the worst remaining location in the restaurant.
I was disappointed with the experience with the deception and poor management, unlike my past enjoyable experiences.
Place is out of the world, service is out of the world, food is out of this world. 10/10

Excellent food. Very good and attentive service. Helped me make a great date night for my girlfriend and I’s anniversary.
Outstanding service from the moment we stepped off of the elevator! The table was immediately ready and based on my special occasion request, a seat was prepared directly facing the Best skyline view. Impeccable and timely wait staff. This was the perfect evening!!
Oh and remember that valet is complimentary. I parked across the street for $8, while my date enjoyed the free service that I didn’t look up haha!!
Steaks were undercooked. We had ordered medium well and I received medium to medium rare. I never send a steak back, so I paid $55 per steak only to feed it to my dog. Other than that, everything else was delicious.
