Outstanding food in somewhat institutional setting.
Always a great meal and nice experience
Everything was awesome!!! The food, the service, great experience!
Great dining spot. We were with 2 other couples. The dining room is so terrific - comfortable, attractive and quiet enough that we could easily hear each other and carry on an actual conversation. Wonderful! The staff was professional, amiable and attentive. The food was nothing short of terrific. We will be back!!!
Way over priced! The food was not fulfilling, and really NOT RESTURAUNT quality.
I will not be returning, nor giving this a recomendation to friends, and family.
The Summit's food quality, presentation and service equal or exceed most area restaurants. Carefully selected, seasonal ingredients are prepared in inventive, delicious ways and presented beautifully. Wait staff are knowledgeable and perfectly attentive. Good cocktail and wine selection. Reservations are almost always available, even on relatively short notice and it is a pleasure to be able to hold a relaxed conversation. I highly recommend the Summit.
great food and service still at a reasonable price with onsite parking
The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the dessert was awesome!
The food was excellent and the service was friendly and attentive. I had the Greek Loon Lamb chops which were served not with lovely sour cream sauce. We also had an order of polenta fries which were quite yummy diffeeent but yummy.
The food was outstanding! The best grouper I've ever had.
Great food. Good service. Fun to chat with and support students.
As usual, I was not disappointed. It was fun to watch the Chef's prepare the food. My friend enjoyed her meal of Chicken with Tomato jam. Our server was quite good. The wine selection was great. Go and enjoy!
Excellent food presented in a tasteful way in a pleasant atmosphere. We would personally prefer more vegetarian/vegan options. However, we have always enjoyed our meals at The Summit.
The Summit is still the restaurant in Cincinnati that gets close to a European French style restaurant. The concept to do all from scratch is unique in town.
Value can not be topped
I took my family for Beef Wellington night in July. The evening was perfect in every way!
This was my first time eating at the summit but I was very pleased with my experience. Although myself and my guest are vegan and the menu was not vegan friendly, the chef catered to our every need and prepared a special meal for us and it was a lovely experience. The staff were nice and really made us feel special. Also the key lime pie was absolutely amazing. The only negatives is that it took a while for someone to greet us and sit us and it is extremely cold in the restaurant but outside of those two small things I still had a great experience and will be back.
Service was good, food okay, it was so cold in the restaurant you could not enjoy your meal.
Run by culinary students who know what they are doing. Food was great!
We got there early, and sat at the bar with Donna, the restaurant manager, serving us. We had a lovely conversation about specialty cocktails, and she was kind enough to share a recipe with me for a drink they no longer serve due in unavailibility of an ingredient.
As usual, the food was excellent.
The food was delicious, different and beautiful. All the things you want from a culinary school dining experience - I will send everyone I know who is headed to Cincinnati - you can count on that!
Service was excellent ! Loved that we could look through the window to see the meals being prepared. Pork belly dish was superb as was the multi mushroom risotto and 3 cheese Mac n cheese. Table mates raved about the lamb chop taste (though it was not very hot) and the carrot soup. The filet mignon (ordered medium) was a little dry with no seasoning. Desserts were a hit: salted chocolate torte, coffee ice cream and macaron tray.
Why wan't this place packed on a Saturday night? Wonderful food, great service all at a very reasonable price. This is truly a hidden gem.
It is definitely a campus restaurant. In order to get the restaurant, you have to walk past classrooms titled "Meat Butchery" or "Fish Butchery." It feels like a dark, forgotten hotel restaurant, but the food is absolutely amazing and done with care and precision.
Excellent food and service . No view did one exist? We were 5:30 seating and back in corner.
Such a lively night. Food and wait staff were wonderful. We will be back
Neighborhood treasure. Love it and love students and staff who work to make an exceptional experience and show off considerable skill.
Service was not that great. Our waiter was not personable at all. My final total was 115.55 with gratuity included. The food was just ok i was very disappointed. I do not recommend the summit at all. The bread we were served looked and tasted like white castle buns with poppy seeds.
The food options are always very creative, and the service is excellent. The students do a great job of making your dinner occasion feel special. The wine list is adequate and it is nice that they suggest wine pairings on the menu.
food was wonderful & so was the service - however, I did have to change my order two times because you were out of fish & out of lamb chops - ambiance could be better but everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food
great value, excellent food and service, the wines are a deal too
