The StoneRose Restaurant
In addition to our lunch and dinner menus, we offer a beer list featuring the best local craft brews, Conshohocken's finest wine list and perfectly created cocktails.
Great gastro-pub. Great food and service. Based on a previous visit, I would have said Great ambiance. We’ve been there before and the noise level was moderate. On this Friday night we had to eat outside (which was perfect on a summer night) because it was loud and over-air-conditioned inside.
My friend and I had the Mahi Mahi sandwich which was delicious. Thin perfectly spiced fries accompanied the meal and they were just as as good as the sandwich.
Went to celebrate a co-workers birthday. Two of us had the crab avacado salad that was very good. Sandwiches were very good and very filling. Would definitely go back again.
We sat outside on a beautiful Sunday for brunch. Creative food and drinks that were well prepared. Standouts for our crew included the mussels and calamari apps, the duck burger, frittata special and the sweet potato French toast.
Great food and service!
Charming small restaurant in the thick of things in Conshohocken, with sidewalk seating, bar and small room in the back. Noise level acceptable, servers very friendly. Our food was delicious, with a small caveat that I found the potatoes to have a bit too much pepper in them. Outrageously good bread pudding for dessert.
Friendly wait staff, good service and interesting menu and enough options to meet the appetite of all.
Prices were reasonable for both food and beverage.
We were a foursome, two couples who hadn’t seen each other in months and we were anxious to catch up. We were seated in the rear of the restaurant where the noise level quickly escalated to the point of our not being able to hear cross-table conversation without shouting. We then asked to be reseated in the bar area at a high top and were quickly accommodated Sooo much better!
As always, delicious food and beverages and the service was A+. We love this place and the ability to honor our request to move on a busy Saturday night scored HUGE points for all involved.
Thank you so much for your graciousness and a wonderful evening!
Me and my boyfriend were planning a trip to Ikea but wanted to have a nice dinner first. He chose The StoneRose at random and I, of course, said yes since he can never decide! We absolutely loved it. I had a pear martini that was perfectly balanced, and then we shared the fried duck wings. To die for. He had the burger and I tried the fish special--very rarely do I finish a full plate but I absolutely did this time! His only complaint was that the burger was so large he had to knife and fork it..though still, delicious! Our server was very friendly and quick and the restaurant atmosphere was trendy and modern without being too stuffy. Thanks for an awesome date night!
Great food and friendly staff. The environment is warm and welcoming.
I was seated right away. My waitress was fabulous. Food was good.
The service was excellent. Our server was very knowledgeable about the food and wine. Our food was great. The calamari was the best I’ve had. The noise in the back room was loud, making it hard to hear.
Wonderful restaurant with great food! Too bad it’s a little noisy!Great specials and very tasty desserts
The food and service are always incredible.
Great meal. Couldn’t have been better
Food was delicious and waitstaff terrific
The food choices are great and the service is fantastic
We hadn't been to the Conchohocken area in 20 years. Wow....what a difference! The StoneRose was fabulous. We will be returning!
We just went for brunch and everything was wonderful! The sorbet mimosas delicious!! All of the food was delicious too, chicken and waffles -sweet and savory, the short rib grilled cheese -sooo good, tried the seasonal watermelon chilled soup-amazing! The only problem was I got too full to try any of the desserts!
The noise level was so loud that we could not have a conversation. We had to quickly finish our food and take our glass of wine to the bar to escape the din. This is unfortunate as the food is good.
Food was outstanding but was loud and hard to talk.
Very good. The food was excellent and the staff friendly. Couldn’t have asked for more.
Excellent service, great food, nice atmosphere.
Had a great night and a great dinner. It was a monday night and we requested a high-top table next to the open windows. Just like being outside. The nice thing is that are considered bar tables and the Monday night bar special is 1/2 price bottles of wine!
Our dinner was excellent. We both had the lamb chops. Food is always excellent. Have ordered different items every time and always excellent. Service is friendly and attentive.
Great burgers. Too much sherry in onion soup.
I had not been to Stone Rose in years, and sadly I was disappointed ... The food was below average: calamari were covered in three different sauces which made them super soggy instead of cripsy. The fries were the worst I had in a long time, you could tell they had been fried in old oil, and the sauces lacked flavor. The parsnip and bacon soup was ok. The crab salad tasted like canned crab meat and was watery.
Definitely not rushing to go back anytime soon.
Everyone enjoyed their meal. Service was great. Would definitely come back again.
Nice place, food was ok, but pretty bland. Service was great!
This was the first time @ Stonerose & it did not disappoint! The service was superb and the food and cocktails amazing . You can absolutely tell they take pride in the quality and presentation of the food . I will definitely be returning !!
Great food, great service, great drinks. Have to try the duck fat fries.
Attractive intimate restaurant with good food and good service. A very good value. We've had lunch and dinner there. I prefer lunch – the flow is better and groups tend to be smaller. Dinner can be very noisy in the back dining area. Eating outdoors in good weather is always a plus!
I have eaten lunch there several times as I work nearby. This was my first time for dinner. We got there for a 5 PM reservation and had a great window seat. I have already told friends it was one of the best restaurant meals I can remember having. The service was wonderful and we weren't rushed to vacate our table, in fact our server told us to take our time. My friend and I lingered over a wonderful piece of chocolate cake and didn't leave until 8 PM.
Service was a little slow but very friendly staff.
All our meals were excellent and reasonably priced. Wait staff was very patient as we waited for third couple to arrive for a birthday surprise. We had a corner table in the back room which was quieter than front room booths near the bar. Delicious desserts too!
Service was prompt and professional The duck burger is not to be missed.
Great food service and atmosphere
Love it there
The restaurant is hard to find because the sign does not stand out at all. Parking can be tough. The back room is noisy and we found ourselves having to speak very loud to overcome the nearby tables. Our server was pleasant, but there were multiple times when large intervals of time would go by and we had no idea where our food was. I watched other tables come and go. We arrived before 6:30 and were the very last people to be finished after 9:30.
The food is very good and the portions are fair.
The Stone Rose is a great local spot in Conshohocken. The food is delicious. We started off with the flatbread special as an appetizer and followed up with the Tuna entree. Both were perfectly prepared. Our server, Molly, was terrific and very efficient. On a busy Saturday night, it can be a bit noisy, but not off-putting
Anne, thank you for your kind review! We hope that you will join us again soon. Cheers!
