The service at the bar and our table was timely and the servers were friendly. They had a nice array of cocktails. The french onion soup was the best I've ever had and my need to have the short rib macaroni & cheese is what will get me back there again soon.
StoneRose is an absolute favorite of mine. Small menu with creative dishes, local beers, and a great wine list. The Prosecco drop is my personal favorite cocktail (try the elderflower) and the sweet potato gnocchi are hard to beat! Also would recommend the happy hour french fry flights - there's plenty to share! But really, everything here is good - I have yet to try something that I didn't like.
Unfortunately this restaurant was very loud and cold. The outside temperatures were a nice cool evening but it was raining. The music was loud so guests had to speak loud to be heard over the music. We were a group of four and sat in the back corner and found ourselves screaming so we could hear each other. We had trouble hearing the waiter telling us the specials. He was very nice and the kitchen accommodated my friend’s special dinner request. The food was good and we enjoyed the salad, appetizer and entries. Would not return here because of the noise and the cold thermostat setting.
It was our daughter's birthday and my son arrived ahead of time. He chose an outside table, for it was a beautiful evening. The food was great, service was phenomenal and they even let us bring a cake!
Great job, we will be back!
Although this restaurant is not in my area I would come again and again. Our waiter was so accommodating and polite and handsome haha
Although I gave ratings of only 2- 3 stars, there were 2 very good entrees: Lobster Bucatini and the Burger. The Pork Chop was so disappointing. The chop was overwhelmed by a sauce which made the dish more like a thick soup. Nor was it tasty.
Our server was just okay and the noise level made it difficult to have any conversation.
We have been to The StoneRose several times and had a different experience. It was a disappointing evening.
must shout to be heard when trying to have a conversation. Basically, impossible to hear
I made a reservation for lunch at the Stone Rose Restaurant based on its website and the menu listed. As circumstances happened, I was going to be late for the time scheduled. Pat, who took my call, was extremely understanding and said he would hold my table. Upon arrival the staff was welcoming and the experience blossomed from there. Service was efficient, food was terrific and prices were reasonable. I would highly recommend Stone Rose Restaurant, a lovely spot to unwind!
Absolutely our favorite restaurant to go to. We celebrate our anniversary here almost every year and we are never let down. The atmosphere is amazing, the food is outstanding and the service is so friendly! Definitely our go to spot!!
Service was super slow.
Waiter wasn’t very friendly.
Food was just ok.
My wife and I decided to try The Stone Rose after years passing through Conshohocken. We really enjoyed our first time, and will definitely return. Highly recommend this place!
Made reservations a week in advance, arrived about 15 minutes early. We were seated immediately which was great except the table was the high chairs. Since my wife has problems with ankle and feet swelling we requested to change to the regular lower type tables. We were told a table like that would be a very long wait, so we agreed to stay put. (This was restaurant week and maybe they were extra busy). We could not read our menu without the aide of our cell phone flash light. Luckily I had my jacket because was wife was freezing from the air blowing on us. It was hard to converse due to the high noise level. The food and wine were good, as well as the service. We ordered dessert to go, two different chocolate cakes slices. However when we arrived home, we realized they gave us two of the same cake. I am not a complainer normally, but I just feel they could have done better. I won't be returning.
Went during restaurant week so the menu was pre fix at a set price ($35). The food was excellent! I’ve been here a few times and have enjoyed every meal. On the expensive side, but worth every penny!
We sat down to eat our meal and realized it was Restaurant Week and that my friend I was with couldn’t eat one thing on their menu. Very disappointed.
We recently went to Stone Rose during restaurant week. Everything was wonderful. The service was fantastic. Our waitress was very knowledgeable. From the appetizer to the dessert course, everything was very well prepared with quality ingredients. I can't wait to return.
A wonderful birthday dinner! Loved the scallops and mac & cheese with short ribs was awesome.
I was very impressed with our whole experience. I would definitely go back.
The StoneRose never disappoints!! One of the best meals my wife and I have had in a long time.
Amazing food and good service! Menu is great. Nice portions and can find healthy dishes easily.
We sat at the bar (our favorite spot and the US Open Tennis, and Sarah and Tyler were great as always. Sarah made a the cucumber drink with real cucumbers.
Really enjoyed. Really little restaurant in Conshi. Just went cause never been before; really good. Whole restaurant can't seat more than like 100..maybe. But sweet potatoe gnocchi excellent. Excellent. We are going back just for that. Fried pound cake for dessert...excellent. Blackberry Mojito...tastey.
Went w/ party of 6...comfortably seated & something for everyone. Fish/shellfish/pasta/red meat/chicken/good healthy salads. All well prepared & tasty. Not super extensive menu so if they want people to come back as regulars; they'll have to change it up a bit from time to time.
Appetizers were really good & plentiful can totally put on a pair of jeans run over to sit at bar for a quick drink & some heavy appetizers.
No high chairs & small; so if crowded not so great for really little ones. My kids are between 9-13 really good for them. Good food; good well paced service; but the kids need to be able to sit in a regular chair.
I would suggest that they get spaghetti & meatballs on the menu as a staple & a magarita flatbread on the menu as staple. Ya got those 2 things you can feed even the most finicky eater & get those who like good creative cuisine in the door.
Nice jeans/chino's/shirt fine. Also nice for a casual dress or skirt. Wouldn't wear sweats for dinner at least. Don't need to wear a tie.
Try it out. Unassuming/small store front; but it's good. We are going back.
Ate outside and enjoyed the meal and the friendly atmosphere.
This is a go to for my friends and I. The food never disappoints. This time we tried the Seasonal Grilled Vegetable Board and were blown away with how delicious it was. It was fun to share and the perfect app for picking while catching up. I'm looking forward to next time.
First time here for a business lunch, sat outside on the sidewalk and enjoyed the open air and excellent food - I had the salmon sandwich, which was fresh and tasty, and my colleague raved about her burger. They have specialty fries which are a staple with almost every meal as well. Would love to go back for dinner and drinks, highly recommended!
Food was good but dining indoors was very, very loud.
Food was very good, very friendly staff, we sat outside because it was a little noisy inside that evening. (That being said I am less tolerant of noise when having dinner than most, I'm fussy in that department.) I would eat there again and would recommend as a good spot.
Back room is so loud
Short rib Mac was not as good as I recalled. Short rib under seasoned and Brussels over cooked
This was our first time here. We really enjoyed it. The cocktails are creative & delicious. We shared an order of duck fries. It was huge! They were good as was the cheddar dipping sauce. I ordered the scallops, which were wonderful and presented beautifully. My husband had the steak which was cooked to order. After all those duck fries, I couldn't possibly eat dessert. So we will have to return & order dessert next time!
Best short ribs and mac 'n cheese ever! Also great service. Gets a little noisy but it's good that people are enjoying themselves.
First time visit. Very nice evening entire team was welcoming and on point. Enjoyed the food but the back room was very loud.
My 3rd visit. Good food and creative cocktails. Will keep returning!
I love the Stone Rose. My boyfriend and I go fairly frequently. It's right up the street so it's not only convenient but the food is delicious. The staff is always nice and welcoming.
The restaurant was very nice my wife was very impressed, and I definitely would return to try more dishes. Service was well-timed and friendly. and the food was awesome.
My husband and I were doing some shopping in Plymouth Meeting and wanted to find a local restaurant we had never tried. We chose StoneRose because the menu looked very good, and we had an excellent dining experience. There are beers and wines on tap, and we tried one of each; both fantastic. Our appetizer was the crab and avocado salad, which also came with a whole yellow pepper and greens. Yum!! My husband had a burger and fries (which he enjoyed) and I had a special that was scallops and shrimp with asparagus and red pepper risotto. The scallops and shrimp were cooked TO PERFECTION. We wish we'd had room for dessert because the chocolate bread pudding looked so yummy, but we'll save that for next time. We've already booked our next meal there. Highly recommended!
Cheese plate was fantastic, salads & entrees were as well. The staff was great - other than the gentleman who opened & poured our (red) wine which he spilled in my (tan) purse and didn’t acknowledge it, let alone offer to get me something to wipe it off even though he clearly saw me trying to wipe it off before it stained. He was still pouring my friend’s glass.
This is my third time to the Stone Rose. I've enjoyed it every time. The service is always good, the food is terrific. Ricki, our bartender/waitress was really good. She made good recommendations and was very attentive. I will be back.
This was our second visit and we brought friends this time and ordered the same things that we had last time. You know you had a great meal when you want to duplicate it a couple of weeks later. The brisket and Mac and cheese is decadent, the scallops are magnificent, and the Angus burger is the best I've ever tasted.
As always great service and great food. We went for happy hour and sat down next to John Mathis the Operation Director. He was great and very friendly. He told us about some of the other great happy hours they have at the other restaurants and now we are going to try Cerdo. We are so looking forward to it.
Thanks for always being customer friendly.
This was my first time at The StoneRose, with a small work group for lunch, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was so nice and accommodating and the food was just incredible. I have already recommended the place to a few friends and know I will be returning soon.
First time eating at this amazing Conshohocken Little gem. No joke this was one of the best meals I've had. Creative. Delicious and different . Lots of interesting options to choose from that you might not usually try . Still, wonderful favorites. Just an example, my dining partner said this was one of the best burgers that he has ever had. I had the lobster bucatini which was amazing. Dessert the bread pudding oh my goodness! Presented well. Service terrific. I will be back and I will bring friends!
