I would typically. But not for one of your brunch specials. Food was cold. Main dishes were out had to wait on them , when more prime rib came out I was nearly finished with dinner. Worst meal I’ve had in awhile. Very disappointed.
The Steakhouse in general has delicious food when we order off of the menu - hot and well prepared. However, this was a Buffet and some items left a lot to be desired. The pancakes and waffles were either too hard or too old. the mac-n-cheese with lobster was not hot and quite bland. However, the smoked salmon, the prime rib, the fresh fruit, the desserts, the ready to order omelettes were spot on, very delicious. Our server Sandy was a delight.
Very disappointing. The prices have gone up and the portions have gotten much smaller . The quality isn't what it used to be. The baked potato was piled high with butter that didn't melt because the potato was cold and inedible. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant anymore.
Always love the Steakhouse. Celebrate birthday's and anniversaries every year. Only complaint was my steak was a little overdone. The flavor was excellent as usual, and this won't stop me from returning.
We ate at the Steakhouse on Saturday. The food delicious and the service was excellent. We had ribeye and it was cooked to perfection.
Jessica was our server and she was very prompt and professional.
We eat out in Colorado Springs frequently and are usually disappointed with the quality of food. As far as we are concerned nothing compares to the great food and atmosphere at the Steakhouse.
Excellent food, excellent service, and an overall fantastic experience:)
I am sad to say it was a little sub par. We had trouble with ordering a lemon drop martini, and the meal was good, but we also were disappointed in our desert. We sat down and ordered our drinks. The waitress brought the drinks over, I took a sip and it was really bad. Sent it back, the bar tender brought over the next one, set it down looked at me and said the only thing wrong was they forgot the sugar on the rim. She was very rude. I took a sip and once again about choked. Mind you I have had this drink ever time we go up there. So I told my waitress again that it wasn’t right. She took the drink back to the manager. He checked it out and agreed it wasn’t correct. Went back to the bar and figured out that the simple syrup they made didn’t have sugar in it. They had to make the syrup over. I got my drink when the meal was over. The desert problem was that for 10 dollars we got the thinnest Crème brûlée I have ever seen. About two teaspoon full in the dish. About 1/4 inch thick very disappointing. The manager was friendly and talked to us. But this shouldn’t have happened. It ruined our meal. To top it off we were charged for everything. I would think some of it should have been comped.
Ordered the butter fillet and crab legs — both were great. Staff was friendly and helpful, as usual. Thank you!
Great place to eat. Food was very good. Service was great.
We werent able to eat here last time we were in Cripple Creek, so we decided to try it out. Drinks were great, except for the after dinner drinks. Coffee tasted like it had sat on the burner all day. Portions were incredible for the prime rib, sides left something to be desired. Scallops we pretty "fishy" for my taste. Left restaurant feeling a little underwhelmed. At least we tried something new!
We enjoyed going there and will go back to celebrate again!
The food was horrible the only thing that was good was the bread. Salad tasted like the lettuce wasn't washed, steak was WAY undercooked & then came back like rubber, zero flavor just bad all the way around. The waitress was really nice but not very attentive considering she had 3 tables I think maybe 6 tables occupied in the entire restaurant. Not recommended.
We have enjoyed many dinners over the years at Bronco Billy’s Steakhouse! We celebrated a birthday dinner in April 2019 and our steaks and lobster were not prepared as requested and were severely over cooked. Other guests at tables around us were experiencing the same issue. Our server, Jessica, was outstanding! Because of the kitchen errors, Jessica did comp our meals. We will definitely go back because this was the first and only time we’ve ever had a bad experience at The SteakHouse and the service has always been excellent!
Everything was absolutely perfect on Friday night. We appreciate how Melissa and the entire staff make sure every aspect of the meal is outstanding.
Thanks for making bronco Billy’s the best casino in Cripple Creek.
Ordered filet and stuffed lobster. Both were very good! The creamy onion soup was amazing! It was our anniversary and they sent us home with small cake as we were too stuffed! Lemon drop and old fashioned just okay! Would eat there again!
The quality of the food has gone down. I can no longer recommend eating here. Specifically, the seafood was really overcooked and rubbery. It seemed like it was old. They did end up comping the meal, but the experience was disapointing and I ended up getting a stomach ache from the part I did eat. For a $50 plate, next time we will go elsewhere.
Ribs were horrible soggy like they were cooked in a crock pot and the king grab was so over cooked it turned into a skin when pulled out of the shell..honestly the only good thing was your bread. Service was horrible no refills given and they even chased us on the way back to our room to get member numbers for a voucher that we were told by a players club associate just to hand over which was supposedly wrong info. I do say tho that we went directly after changing our clothes to the little cafe down stairs and ordered chicken and shrimp with chips...it was soooo much better and the staff and waitress were super friendly and refills before needed...that staff made our stay and thank you again to them..even breakfast was super cheap and good quality.
Very busy, took 32 minutes for the main course, my filet was perfect. Wife had crab legs and were cold when served. Got them heated and all was well. Waitress gave us the main course meals for free because of the issues of delay and cold. Overall OK you don't have many choices on Sunday night in Cripple Creek so the Steak House was the best choice. I would go back.
Appetizer came after entree. Only one of us received drink refills. You can hear kitchen staff as you sit in dining room. Baked potato not baked, declined offer of mashed.
Sandy is a great waitress....very attentive.
I had the prime rib and my husband had the porterhouse, both cooked to perfection. The creamy onion soup was delicious as always.
The food is great and the service is fantastic. Sandy is a superb waitree.
Kind of an add supper, but I chose the large shrimp cocktail and a baked potato for my meal while my husband had the more "traditional" battered shrimp and a salad. I was amazed at how many shrimp came in my shrimp cocktail - there had to be at least 14 very nice sized shrimp, cooked perfectly. I was able to easily split this with my husband and still ate my fill. We always try to eat at Bronco Billy's Steakhouse when we are in Cripple Creek - you'll be glad you did.
Probably the best restaurant in Cripple Creek! Yum
Food is good, we were seated in the more bar like area instead of the quieter part of the restaurant even though seating was plentiful in the quieter area. On the bright side when our server over heard us talking about the next day being our wedding anniversary, we were presented with a free cake to take with us.
I was very disappointed in the quality of the food. I've eaten here before several years ago and enjoyed it. This experience was different. After a long wait after finishing our salads, the manager came over and informed us that our meal was free due to one order having to be recooked. Luckily we didn't have to pay. It was a steak that they recooked. Unfortunately while they did that, they left the other order in the oven or under a burner because it came out way overcooked and burned in some areas. That order was the stuffed lobster, a $50 menu item that I wouldn't feed to my dog. The cheese on top was burned and hard as a rock, you couldn't cut through it. The lobster was so chewy and void of moisture or taste. Won't be going back anytime soon.
The food used to be delicious. My filet was dry. The bread was great, though.
I used to love the steak house but has it ever gone down-hill. The salmon used to be to die for, however the piece (tail section) I had on Sunday looked like it was off the bargain rack. The caper sauce looked like it had spilled off the edge of the plate. The mashed potatoes were dry and lacked any flavor. The bread they brought out looked like it had been under the warmer for an hour. The croutons on my salad were actually softer. Service was okay but I was hoping the servers would come back and ask how the dinner was before we had almost finished. It may be awhile before I go back. I miss the old Bronco Billy's. New owners are ruining the place.
The host was not the most friendly and I was surprised for such a great steakhouse. Our waitress was outstanding and the food was very good also. Need to have someone with a personality doing the job as your host - it's the first impression we see...
Always good food and service. The atmosphere is relaxing and quiet. LOVE the bread before the meal.
Excellent service, ribs too smoky flavored. Filet always delicious. Onion soup ok
The Steakhouse excels in all areas: delicious food, excellent services and good drinks.
We highly recommend The Steakhouse at Bronco Billy’s if you are looking for a great ribeye steak or prime rib. The Steakhouse rocks!
The service is excellent and the food is great. Sandy is a great waitress.
Great service , nothing fancy , but a good experience.
Terrible ribeye for waiting 40 minutes for the food save your time don’t bother
Very pricey but perfect for a special occasion night. The oysters Rockefeller are the best I've had...EVER. So plump, juicy, the perfect mix of ingredients. GET ANY STEAK. You'll have more than enough for leftovers. And the craft cocktails are great!
My wife ordered her ny strip steak well done and it came out rare. My ribeye steak had so much gristle it was inedible. We sent both back to the kitchen and left the restaurant.
Always great, sometimes better than others. This time we were sat beside the wait station, just inside to the left, and there was a little more 'shop talk' than we're used to.
Disappointing...I have been to this steakhouse several times and was very excited to go back. Honestly, I will not return after this last visit. The portions have been decreased, the prices have increased, the quality has declined, and the food was cooked incorrectly.
Go seated at 9:00 for a 8:00 reservation didn’t get service until about 9:15 had to go go to the bar and get my own drinks
We have always had a great dinner at the steakhouse and go there for all of our special occasions. This time however it took 30 minutes to get our drinks, the fat on the lamb was not rendered, the mashed potatoes were so dry we had to ask for butter, and the vegetables were mush. No excuses that it was a busy weekend we’ve been there when it was even busier. What the heck happened??
