The service is always slow, even when the restaurant is not busy.
We were very pleased with the excellent service from Jaime.
The meal was spot on and the dessert was delicious.
Service was very slow. Sides were cold so canceled them. Waited for dessert and finally asked where are server was. Another server delivered our dessert. No one apologized for the poor service.
Food was delicious. Slow service, but that wasn't a bad thing, nice leisurely dining experience. We had a new waiter, but he was attentive. We sat on the patio, so the smoke stench from the casino wasn't appetizing.
We went here for my husbands birthday. The atmosphere was really nice and the food was amazing. We had the crab cakes, lobster bisque, lamb, lobster, NY steak and creme brulee. It was the best crab cakes and lamb I have ever had! I could not believe how good the lamb was. They had a decent size wine list as well with several very good wines. After our meal they surprised my husband with a giant cotton candy with a candle on top! They also took a picture of us, printed it out and put it in a cute paper frame with a hand written birthday wish to my husband. The staff was great with one complaint. The hostess was terrible. She was very rude and unfriendly to us. We're not sure what the problem was. She did not want to deal with us even though I had made our reservations 3 days in advance and all we said was; "Hello, we have reservations." She sat three other couples before us and finally someone else came and sat us at our table. On our way out another server and the manager thanked us for coming and wished my husband a happy birthday. He looked at the hostess and thanked her and she wouldn't even look at him let alone respond. So strange. Otherwise we enjoyed dining here.
Although The Steakhouse was recommended to me, I certainly would not recommend it. The fare was very expensive compared to other high end restaurants. The air smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. Walking the gambling machine gauntlet to the restaurant left a great deal to be wanted. Valet service took forever to deliver our car after dinner. As I expected, it was nothing but a Casino experience: not to my taste.
Waited at least an hour from salads to main. Three prime ribs and one steak should not have taken that long!! One prime rib wasn’t even cooked but appeared to have been put under a broiler and browned. Worse piece of meat ever!!!
Not as good as I expected. My wife's steak great but my prime rib just meh.

Overwhelming aroma of cigarette smoke killed any chance of enjoying a fine meal. Overpriced with overworked wait staff who did their best under the circumstances. With so many other fine choices in the area, the only reason to come here is to gamble in the casino. We won't be back for sure.

One of my favorite steak houses!! Don't let because it's in a casino stop you from just going there for dinner.
Food is amazing! Whole all the staff is outstanding our waiter Jaime went above and beyond to make sure our dinner was perfect.
They were late to seat us although we expressed that we had show tickets. We were seated next to a very loud large table of people that totally overwhelmed that dining room but we we’re to tight on our timing to ask for another table in a different room. Considering the prices are similar to Mastro’s you’d think the quality would be at least close of which it wasn’t. Most certainly won’t make the mistake of going back. I was years ago a regional manager for Reubens Steakhouse and a Food and beverage director of both Marriott and Sheraton, I know what it should have been and it wasn’t by a long shot. Hugely disappointed...
Food was delicious. Service was outstanding. Every time we come here we’re happy.
The wait to receive our food was a little longer due to event at the casino. Waiter was great and was attentive. Food was good and dessert was great.
Made reservations for 6:30 p.m. in order to see entertainment in The Show. There was no consideration by the staff to serve us in a timely manner and we missed part of the opening. For this reason, our party was disappointed. Would not dine at this restaurant prior to entertainment again. The price of the tickets warranted seeing the entire show.

Restaurant has improved with new Manager . It’s great to see a man well dressed in a Tuxedo it creates a style .
Been going to the steak house for 7 years , immediately I notice the changes on our food, cause will always order the same ,, and the change was not for the best, our cream spinach was wet and soggy the change the bread, our side orders did not taste the same, not sure if they changed chefs or what, it just don’t taste the same as it was
We dined for an early Valentines celebration! Everyone was very attentive and polite and the food was exceptional! Made for a wonderful experience. Thanks so much!
Great food and service! Food was well prepared and presented. Wait staff very attentive and friendly. Will go back again for another fine dining experience. Also, will recommend to family and friends.
We thoroughly enjoyed the early bird specials. Christine and Zachary were perfect servers! The bread is delicious. Soup and salad were wonderful. Filet mignon and Scottish salmon were amazing. We’ll be back.
The food and service at the Steakhouse was exemplary! They were so flexible on splitting plates and attentive to every need and request. The filet mignon and prime rib were incredibly tender and cooked to perfection exactly as ordered. Next trip to Rancho Mirage will definitely include dinner here at least once during our trip!
Our waiter was wonderful. However my medium steak was completely rare and cold on the inside. By the time the waiter came back around to us I had lost my appetite for my steak :( it was such a bummer.

Had dinner last night in the Steakhouse. The lobster was overcooked, my filet Mignon was dry and something called Okinawa Sweet Potato was very unpleasant to look at let alone it lacked taste. The overall meal was in my opinion not worth trying it again. I used to enjoy their entrees but this time around I am stretching to give it even 2 stars, Seriously Aqua , what happened ???

The room and service were nice, but the food was very bad. This was not my first time at the Steakhouse , but it will be my last.
For the first time in years of going to this teakhouse, I was not happy with the Oso Buco that I ordered. While it was tender, it did not taste very good and was very dry. Luckily I only ate a couple bites but I still had stomach issues after I left the restaurant. I give credit to my waiter and the manager who did takeThe osso bucco off my check. I will definitely return in the future to eat there again because I am hoping this was only a one time issue.
Atmosphere dingy , worn and smokey.
Everything about the evening was wonderful. The service was fantastic. The menu had several options , and was not overwhelming. The server checked on us enough to be helpful but not overbearing. Food was cooked exactly to order. I look forward to returning, especially for the desert!
Very bad Took over one and one half hour to get our food . Very slow. Crab legs were not the guality normally that we are served. New bartender that was very poor. Forgot to put our order in and we had to keep asking him He finally went back to the kitchen and talk to someone. Arrived at 5:50 and finished at 7:50. Not good.
I would give this restaurant 5 stars, but they had a couple of habits that turned me off. We had an early reservation at 5:30. We were told our table was not ready and would we please go to the bar and have a drink. On the way to the bar, I noticed that the dining room was set and just about completely empty. We went into the bar and all they had were tall seats with tall tables. We were with my 88 year old father who has mobility problems and uses a walker. No way would it be possible for him to get into a seat. We walked out of the bar and I told the hostess that we would just wait right next to her at the hostess table until she found a seat for us. Immediately we were seated. I noticed that they had some happy hour cocktails so I tried to order one and was told that the lower price was for the bar only. They have a special early bird dining option that they advertise on their website. No where on the menu does it mention the early bird special. I had to ask and she then told me the specials out loud because they don't have it written down anywhere. The early bird special is a really good deal. $32.00 for your choice of caesar salad or soup, your choice of 5 oz. filet mignon, a double cut pork chop or salmon. All are served with potatoes and vegetables. The meat was cooked to perfection and we ordered the special bleu cheese crust which made it even more delicious. Service was good. Our server was Patty who did a great job with our meal.
We had a nice booth that was located as far as possible from the restaurant's entrance which is inside the casino. Still we could smell the casino cigarette smoke wafing in. The whole restaurant is impacted by the smell and it effects the taste of your food.
Food service improving
We celebrated a birthday and the complementary dessert was a show stopper. Crab, lobster and steak skewers were delicious. The pineapple lemon drops were exceptional. Service was very good on a very busy night before the Burt Bacharach concert.
Very nice place, service, staff and food was excellent. Only negative is the wine list needs to be expanded. Great steak but I did not think my wife’s crab cakes were good, very marginal.
I was however impressed and would come back for sure.
