Nicholas was excellent. Knowledgeable about menu and gave us great tips about the area. Food was wonderful. Service excellent.
Extremely pricey and average food
In a valley with so much competition
We were celebrating an anniversary, which we told the them when making reservations. Up front, our waiter (Angel, very good waiter!) said they would have a special surprise for dessert. The caesar salad was very good. We both ordered the filet mignon ($55 each), which had a lot of salt on it. The side dishes were terrible, the brussels sprouts ($11) were hard as marbles. The spinach ($10) was very salty and stringy. For the special dessert? A 12" inch high blue cotton candy! I kid you not! Cotton candy! They could have done so much better with a simple dessert or at least have a choice.
In checking our credit card account, they added an extra charge for $160.81, from another table? I will have to take care of this on a weekday. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. the prices are way out of line for what they serve.
Everything was excellent, we were treated like royalty we will be back for sure! The crab cake, and calamari appetizer was our starter, then the lamb chops and whipped garlic mash potatoes for our entree and for dessert we had the carrot cake!!! All are recommended! I wish I could remember our servers name he was amazing! It was our anniversary and they sure did make us feel special.

They have a special for $32 that is a great deal. Filet, Salmon or double cut pork chop. There were three of us and we each tried one. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. It comes with soup or salad. The soup was brought to the table in a small pitcher and poured in a bowl at the table. The food and service were excellent. The servers were very attentive and accommodating. The restaurant decor is very nice and would be a great place to celebrate any special occasion. I will definitely eat there again and highly recommend this restaurant.

Food and service was great. They asked if we were celebrating a special occasion and we said "Yes" it was our 58th anniversary. But it was never mentioned again. We have been to the Steakhouse in the past for Birthday and Anniversary dinners and always had our picture taken and a special desert. I don't know if they quit doing that, but if they did why ask about what we were celebrating.

Excellent Happy Hour dinner. Steak was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Caesar salad was not up to par. Limp lettuce and lacked flavor. Not the usual salad that we always get. Gary was a great waiter, very accommodating and efficient.
Still the best steakhouse in the palm desert area. Always a fantastic meal.
Good food and great service.
A regular post show dining location for us. Ordered the Seafood Tower for 2, featuring king crab,oysters on the half shell, jumbo shrimp & ahi poke. Food & service is usually very good, not so this time. King crab and poke were OK but nothing to write home about, the shrimps were large but tasteless (simply boiled, no seasoning) the oysters were tiny and tasted TERRIBLE, had likely been dead for a long time before being shucked. I am an Oyster affecinado, the best description for these is Gross, couldn’t spit them out fast enough! Service was disappointing as well, had to ask 3-4 times for drawn butter, soy, wasabi etc, overall a very poor experience!

I love dining at The Steakhouse at Agua Caliente. The food is always delicious and the service is amongst the best in the desert!
This is one of our favorite places to dine. We bring friends visiting from out of town and local friends here all the time. The staff, food and ambience is by far the greatest.
This is a wonderful restaurant for a tasty, capacious, traditional steakhouse meal.
Fish was dry. Sides were very good. The waiter and night manager were exceptional!!!
This was our first visit to The Steakhouse and we were pleased. The steaks were excellent and the sides were very good. Service was a little spotty but we got there right at the end of the "early bird special" period and it was a little hectic. But, no complaints. We'd do it again.

As always it was delicious. We love the cocktails, wine list and of course the food.
Overall very enjoyable. Lots of food. Some of the meat items were ordered medium and turned out well done.
Two of our guests thought the meat was over-salted. Waiter Juan was very nice. The before brunch fruit,
rolls etc were unexpected, as were the truffles. Very nice presentation.
Great food-best food we’ve had
The service is fantastic. My husband had the Rib eye and loved it. I had the chicken and loved it. Nice mellow atmosphere. Staff gave us a special little treat since it was our anniversary. The funny thing is that we didn't tell them it was our anniversary, but it looks like they found out through the hotel, which was just an awesome surprise that they work closely together.
Service was poor. We waited about half an hour for our entree and they were not busy. Pork chop was overcoioked and tough. For these prices everything should be much better.
I booked this for 8 of my friends last saturday July21, the place was pretty much empty when they got there, they took 30 min to get them drinks and 45 min to an hour to get food.
For cost of food there, they need to treat there customers better.
We will definitely go somewhere else next time.
This was a wonderful dining experience. The food and the service were excellent! My Granddaughter loved her Birthday cotton candy, and we received a picture of the 4 of us with her and the "Cake"
The diner was amazing. The fillet was prepared as I asked , and as a carnivore, rates among the best I have enjoyed anywhere. The restaurant had a very quite and peaceful atmosphere. We had no trouble carry-on a conversation. Save room for the creme brulee. It is not to be missed.

We came for our 45th anniversary and were treated royally. They took our photo and presented us with a cotton candy surprise at dinner's end. No one serves chateau briand as tasty as The Steakhouse.
The oysters and escargot starters were very good too.
Service was impeccable and we were promptly seated at a table of our request.
