We sat outside . It was a very lovely evening. Waitstaff was attentive , food and drink came out quickly.
My duck was cooked perfectly and my daughters salmon was very good.
Servings were very small for the price charged. Drinks were weak as well. Great location. Nice ambiance but food and drink were just ok.
As always the food and service were excellent. However the noise level on a Saturday night is much too high very hard to hear the people at your own table
Decided to eat here for a Friday night dinner. Service was very good—friendly and professional. Every thing we ate was very tasty. Prices were fair for what was offered. We will definately return. If the restaurant is very crowded I imagine that parking could be a little dicey but that shouldn’t be a deterrent.
Awesome as always
Food delish....soft shell crabs to die for.
Spanish manhattan is a must !
Try it, you.ll love it !
went there for Mothers Day. Entrees and Appetizers were good. The Pina Colada shrimp was fantastic. The sauce on the chicken cordon bleu was good but a bit too sweet for my taste. We would definitely go here again. Another location to add to the rotation.
Marc, congrads on your lovely restaurant. my friends and I enjoyed the food and the ambiance.
All the food is wonderful - delicious and great quality. Some of the best salmon I have ever had. I’m pregnant and I asked for a nice mocktail. The waitress asked the bartender and she came back with a lovely glass of muddled fruit and other deliciousness. She waited for me to try it to see if I liked it. It was lovely- I was impressed. And when I finished the glass she had a small carafe more - saying he had made extra! After dinner the chef came out and checked in on us and our meal. Top notch. We will be back!
Dinner there was awesome as usual!! Love going there!
Excellent friendly service and good food!
Good specials and food is always hot and fresh!
The service is excellent. Food is very good and always consistent.
Another great surf, turf & earth meal. Great spot!
As always staff is friendly and efficient the food was delicious and the prices were fair
It is always wonderful here. Tonight I had the seared scallops and risotto special. Outstanding!
Arrived at time of reservation and seated immediately. Service attentive. Peking duck quesadilla appetizer excellent. A very pleasant dining experience.
We just went to Station kitchen to celebrate my husbands birthday and had a wonderful experience! The food is always good and the staff go out of their way to make your experience there memorable!
We were there for my sister in law ‘s birthday celebration. I had mentioned it when I made the open table reservation.
The staff surprised us with a dessert and a candle.
Always good food and difficulty deciding which entree to pick from the extensive menu.
A wonderful neighborhood restaurant.
Delish as always
Wine Wednesday...had a great bottle of Rose
Wild Boar with pasta and
Scallops Over Risotto
Both to die for
Compliments to the chef !
I went here to celebrate my 30th birthday with my family. The menu is what drew me to Station Kitchen because we have a celiac sufferer and a few picky eaters. I like an eclectic menu with options I haven’t seen or tried before. Everyone was thrilled. Everyone loved ALL of the appetizers and each of their meals. We felt so welcome and the staff had even hung a birthday banner at the table for me before we arrived. We will all definitely be back again.
Excellent food and service!
Second time here. Food again was terrific. I had the surf, turf and earth and the three others I was with had the steak special ... the cream sauce was splendid.
Our sever was delightful and I look forward to going back. Great location and atmosphere.
Always a pleasure w/ Mark manning the well stocked bar, creating new & novel approaches to tasty drinks & Larry in the kitchen, cooking up wonderful seasonal dishes as well as terrific comfort food. Always something new as well as all time favorites. You just cannot go wrong with anything on the extensive regular as well as daily menus. All served by a friendly, well trained staff. Whether it’s a special night or just a night out Station Kitchen is top of my list for local dining.
Looking for a last minute dining option on Open table, came across The Station- had stopped going to former owner's place and was surprised to learn that the restaurant had re-opened with new owners and chef. Reading reviews saw that the chef was former owner of Scoozies, a now closed restaurant in the area. We had loved his food and quickly made a reservation.
What a meal! OUITSTANDING! Chef Larry has gotten even better. I had scallops on winter hash- hash was roasted brussel sprouts and bacon. Superlative. My Wife had cioppini-so much shrimp, lobster and scallops.
Apparently the word is out on the restaurant because after arriving at 6:30PM, all the tables filled and there was a line of patrons to be waiting to get in. So, if you want a truly interesting and memorable meal at a reasonable price, GO!
Overall great experience, service and food were on point. Best part, right in my neighborhood.
Excellent service and food.
Wonderful place for everyday and special occasions.
Friendly staff and good food
Delicious food, awesome service, friendly staff, beautiful ambiance. Can’t wait to go back!
Mark is an excellent host, our server Sam and all the staff was very friendly, professional and effecient.
The kitchen was fabulous cooking both our delicious dinners to perfection . Try the 4 cheese onion soup, it's outrageously good.
Highly recommend to give this place a try.
Food and service always excellent
Always a great experience, during the winter months we sit at the bar and enjoy lively conversation with staff and other patrons.Summertime brings us out to the patio seating which is set up to allow for larger groups but is perfect for an intimate dinner as well. Food is always spot on and chef is always creative with an entree if there are food allergies.
Thank You Station Kitchen and staff, James S
Menu was great and not very pricey. Our table was not ready yet and the house bought my wife and I drink at the bar. The food was splendid and we will definitely go back to try some other items from the appy and main menu. Very nice and neat and clean... two thumbs up!
We have been to Station Kitchen in the past. Because the venue is very old, some seating is in areas that get cold. However this was remedied quickly. The food on our last visit was exceptional but not as good this time. I think that the pasta entree I ordered could have been
accompanied with some vegetables.
I would try it again.
Food was good but chef/owner came out to walk around and speak to guests at every table but ours. We felt slighted and it put a bit of a damper on a birthday celebration meal that otherwise could have been a really nice overall experience
Delicious food, seasonal handcrafted cocktails, creative desserts top it off with a warm, friendly staff and you have The Station Kitchen - the restaurant you'll to want to go back to.
The food is incredible you can taste the freshness, the seasonings pop and you want to take your time eating because it's a culinary adventure that you don't want to end.
You've got to dine here!
Never disappoint! There's always something new on the menu. Seasonal drinks are fabulous! Everything we've eaten is delicious! Wonderful wait staff! We'll be back many times!!
We always have a wonderful time when we eat at the Station Kitchen!
Food & libations are excellent.
Service is attentive.
We have been to Station Kitchen several times, the food is always very good. It was a very cold night and we were seated a little close to the outside door, a bit chilly at times. Great waitress and delicious food.
First impression was a very nice gentleman at the host/hostess podium wearing a beat up T-shirt, jeans and unshaven. Not great first impression. Server Christine however was amazing. Super attentive, very knowledgeable and personable. A treasure to the establishment. That being said....my husband and I are not afraid to spend for good food.... but we spent, and the food wasn’t that good. Duck quesadillas were puréed pieces of duck mixed with hoisin and filler. Quesadilla was mushy to say the least and way too salty. We then had a Caesar salad which was dressed well albeit missing the anchovies but the Parmesan crisp was a burnt mess according to my husband. Genuine shaved parmigiano would have been more up to speed. Our son had Mac and cheese that was a plus: clearly homemade and flavorful. He had the meatball appetizer that also was good.
For entree I chose the Asian wild salmon which was crusted well with sesame. Could have been cooked a couple minutes less as it was on the dry side but tasty nonetheless, minus the soy ginger sauce that was so salty. Requested steamed veg no butter but there was still butter on them. Being that I have a dairy allergy will assure I don’t go back because my allergies were not taken into any consideration by the chef when I requested no butter at all.
My husband had veal saltimbuca (spelled incorrectly on the menu, saltimbocca is proper). Not traditionally served at all, a disappointment when that is what you are expecting. Consulting an Italian chef may be a wise decision for proper menu items.
Good martinis and good service are the only pluses here given that a meal for three that included a 6 yr Old was $240 with tip.
Definitely has room for improvement... hope to see it happen.
