Staff was very attentive. Food was delicious. Had the filet burgundy and it was done perfectly. Wine was priced well with a nice selection. Will be going again!

Our first time there, we went for Valentine’s Day. Everything was excellent, service, food, drinks, atmosphere & dessert. We have already told a bunch of people of our experience at the station and recommend they try it. We’ll be back again for sure!

The Station at Mt Lakes was very warm & welcoming. A bit pretentious & seemed to have a local crowd that was quite robust. I would like to come back when the weather is warm & eat al fresco. Looks to be very pretty outside. The food was good, service was very attentive if a bit abrupt. Decent wine list but some of the servers were less than adequate. They seemed anxious to rush us through our dinner rather than let us take our time & relax. Plus, when we tried to order the special tuna on the menu, which looked delish, we were told there was no tuna available at all. No one said anything when we sat down, so we had to rethink our choices while the server hovered around us until I told her to let us decide & we would let her know! Appetizers were good, again food was good but the decor needs major refreshing. Plus, there is only 1 restroom, right beside one of the tables where a large group was dining. ICK! I get the feeling that if you become a regular, the service would be better. Probably will come back, would like to come back on a week night.

Server was excellent. Requested flowers on the table for my wife - and they did it! Fiod was great and would absolutely return. Second thumbs up for the service and waiter!!!

My boss found this hidden gem while we were on a business trip. We loved it so much we ate there again the 2nd night! The service is top notch, and the food is delicious! I can't wait to come back again!

Phenomenal! We had filet mignon burgundy and Gorgonzola. Both were melt in your mouth and full of flavor. We subbed for a wedge of potatoes Au gratin which were so good we would have been happy with them as a savory dessert. The overall experience was so good we came back the next night with. Customer.!

I wanted to celebrate my daughters 51 st Birthday with a special treat. The lunch was delicious and the service outstanding. Exactly what I wanted a Mother Daughter birthday lunch. I would recommend the menu and outstanding service for any occasion.

I love the old stone inside and out of the restaurant. The service was great but I was taken back by the menu. I haven't been to The Station in about 2 years I was surprised to see lots of pasta dishes on the menu. And I did not care for my hanger steak to come to me all ready cut in pieces I would have rather had a steak to cut.

My husband ordered the steak arrabiata and he said it was better than my peppercorn steak. Mom ordered the balsamic chicken. It was a large portion and she ate it all. The blueberry cobbler looks more like a pie but is was outstanding. I would go back just for the cobbler. We were seated next to a loud party. Once their food came, the noise level was better. We will be back.

I found the Station at Mountain Lakes on Open Table by looking for a place for New Year's Eve in a nearby town. What is great find - the food was delicious, and plenty to eat at each serving. It is tucked away off the roads I normally drive on - but we were so impressed we will be back! Great spot any day your in the mood for great food.

Since moving to Mountain Lakes a year ago, we finally decided to walk down the street for dinner and we are sure glad we did. Cozy (it is very tight) restaurant with tons of charm. Broad wine list and a fantastic bartender! Food was well-prepared and portions were generous. We had the stuffed salmon and steak Diane - the salmon was fantastic, the steak itself was meh - although the sauce was flavourful. Don't miss the scallop potatoes, they are delicious. The only knock is the venue can be loud, and don't sit on the right side of the downstairs dining room on the banquets....they were the original waiting room chairs and are VERY narrow. We will return and can't wait for warmer weather for the outdoor patio.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at The Station in Mountain Lakes. The wait staff was attentive but not over bearing. Our lunch was absolutely delicious. We shared an appetizer with prosciutto. The prosciutto was the best I've ever had. My entree was Chicken Toscana. I would order it again in a heartbeat. It was outstanding. I can't wait to return for another meal!

Fantastic quality food. Cajun corn chowder was so flavorful with just the right bite of spice. Great malbec by the glass to compliment the entree, a huge stuffed pork chop, stuffed with cornbread and sausage stuffing. Flavorful natural gravy drizzle over the top added to the complex flavors of the entree. Finished off with some fresh steamed veggies and a small serving of mashed potatoes.

Wonderful meal at The Station. Arugula salad was excellent! Had a chicken pasta dish which was flavorful and tasted like my grandma used to make on Sundays. Husband had jambalaya which was tasty with authentic Cajun flavor. Apple pie was also terrific...just like home made! Staff here is the best, from the smiling and friendly manager who greets you to the young man who brings the bread, the wait staff who take your order and runners who bring your food. Friendly, cozy vibe with really great food served in the beautiful old train station. Highly recommend!
