The Sovereign was an excellent find for us while visiting DC! At the end of a full day we wanted a nice dinner in the Georgetown area and this place was a gem. Great food (best mussels my wife has had) and delicious drinks (awesome Belgian beer selection) made for an outstanding dinner!

The overall extent was outstanding! The food was superb. The service was excellent. The ambiance was great. The only thing that tarnished the visit was trash cans along the alley to enter the restaurant and a few rats scurrying around them.

Cozy restaurant at the end of an alley. Lots of food and drink choices. They have an extensive beer list. Food and service were both good. I would definitely eat here again.

Food and service were excellent. The muscles were so fresh. Many choices on how to have them we chose the saffron and it was delicious. The short ribs were melt in your mouth tender. Waiter was attentive without being pushy.

Loved the rabbit, would definitely recommend. Our only issue was how loud the restaurant was. We could not carry on a conversation and frequently had to ask the waitress to repeat what she said.

The food was wonderful. The service was exceptional. Great selection of both food and drink. And as someone who just got back from Europe, the Belgian theme and flavor was all spot on.

Our incredible server made our evening special. He recommended an excellent beer and helped us order, customizing around allergies and food we love. In the end, we had a delicious meal in a cozy booth (the hostess kindly escorted us to a quiet spot). We'll be back!
