Everyone’s food was amazing! Highly recommend this restaurant. The deviled eggs were the best I’ve ever had! The pork chop was unreal and the shrimp and grits were the right amount of heat!

TSG was nothing short of amazing! The ambiance, the staff, and most of all the food is what makes this place incredible. I love the spin on southern cuisine by Chef Q.

The bar staff is one of the most remarkable in the city!

Truly a must visit!

The food was great and our Bar Tender, Eddie was knowledgeable about both the food and beverages. When you first visit somewhere having honest recommendations is always helpful!

I took my husband and father here for Father’s Day brunch. The location is nice and airy with modern decor, and they had live music. My main issue from the day was with the kitchen. First, we all ordered their Big a$ cinnamon rolls, but the server came out a few minutes later to tell us they had run out. Our server brought us their pastry baskets as a compliment and apologized, but once he was gone I saw a different server carrying cinnamon rolls to another table. Maybe those were the last 2 in the building?
Next, my food came out first, but then no one else at the table got their food for 20 minutes. I had to eat my omelette because it would get cold. Then a different server brought me another omelette. Finally, the manager came out and apologized for the inconvenience. Again, our server graciously offered complimentary desserts and gave us half off of our meals. Once everyone at the table got their food, we all agreed that is was good despite the kitchen issues. I really hope that they can fix those issues because they’re in a great location and I’d like to go back and try their dinner menu and see if a different time and day makes a difference. Overall I’d say our server was the shining part of the visit because he continued trying to make sure we were taken care of.

We dined in for Father’s Day and it was very warm inside the restaurant. Other than that, our food, the server and management staff was awesome.

The Southern gentleman doesn’t disappoint. We went there to celebrate Father’s Day and had amazing cocktails, great service, and great food. My mom said the fried grouper was the best she has ever tasted!

My wife booked booked a reservation for my family to celebrate Father’s Day with my children and their grandmother.

Service was some of the worst I have seen, took 20 minutes to get a drink, everyone started to receive entree’s at different times (this is not tapas), was running about 65 minutes ticket times.

Manager on duty saw no problem with anything and told me this was to be expected because it was Father’s Day. Mind you we were first table seated in the section.

Impeccable service. Loved the wait staff. The squash casserole was amazing. Portion sizes are perfect.... not overwhelming. It was my first visit. Patio dining was summer festive. Mister was great addition.
Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Great place for brunch but def best for adults only. We had a newborn with us and it wasn’t really set up to accommodate. Nothing to hold baby carriers and no changing tables in the bathroom.

The space is good the food was not. Unfortunately the chicken sandwich it's completely over cooked and in edible they did remove this from the bill but frankly it was not at all acceptable to have left their kitchen ... Other folks had salads at our table and they seem like they were pretty good I still have to say overall it was disappointing best

Monday dinner reservations at 7pm arriving after one 12 seater and before second 12 seater. Order lost in shuffle. Waited 1.5 hours for entree. Apologies and offer for free desert. Declined. Small discount on food. Better foot forward next time?

My food came out more than 20 minutes after my guest’s entree. The initial entree presented was not what I ordered. After waiting 15 additional minutes for the food I ordered to arrive, the waitress indicated they would be comping my drink. Poor consideration.

First time dining at Southern Gentleman and the total experience was wonderful. The atmosphere is lively, great bar, very attentive service, and most of all, great food. The curried okra was a special find and would highly recommend if you like curry. The fried green tomatoes were prepared to perfection. For the main course we had shrimp & grits and trout. Both were equally well prepared and equally delicious.
It's always exciting to find a new restaurant that meets all exceptions. We'll be back and next time we'll bring friends.

Was not impressed by the service or the timing of the food and drinks. Our server was nice...but, he was not great. It took 10+ minutes each request for our drinks and food. When we did receive our appetizers, we weren't finished with the small plates before our dinner plates were shoved on the table...we hastily pushed the remaining appetizers onto our dinner plates, because there wasn't enough room on the table. The food was delicious, though. The first round of drinks were ordered wrong (still drank them anyway, so they wouldn't go to waste), and our next round took 15 minutes from the time we ordered to when we finally got it. I requested a glass of red wine (after drinking $10 rose glasses), and the server brought me a $30 GLASS without telling me. It wasn't until after I drank it and saw it on the bill that it was so pricey. I would've never ordered that if I had known. We felt duped and were displeased with the overall service and timing of everything. We definitely won't be returning. Thankful for the great company, though.

Nice restaurant but I probably won’t go back due to the parking. I wanted to valet park but couldn’t find any signs then pulled in into the parking deck where most spots were reserved for valet park, then due to poor signage again, it took me and this other lady another 15 minutes to find the exit to the main floor, my friend got lost in the parking deck as well. I know it has nothing to do with the restaurant but why go through the headache when there many better restaurants around.

My S.O. and I brought his mother here for a belated Mother's Day brunch. He and I are vegetarian (ovo-lacto), and there was a nice range of items we could choose from. We had the pastry basket as an appetizer. It was not too big, rich, or sweet: perfect for a little sweet taste without spoiling the appetite. We all ended up getting the parmesan omelette. It was perfectly cooked and fluffy. My only complaint is that it was so large (could easily have been 4 eggs) that I could not come close to finishing it. If I had known it would be that big, I would have split it with someone else and gotten a salad to go with it. I know that some people like huge brunch portions; maybe there could be a 2 egg option on the menu? Our Bloody Marys were very good, and there were cocktail options we want to come back and try later. Our server was friendly and very helpful. The space and the view from the patio is gorgeous. We're planning a visit to Gypsy Kitchen to try the tapas and Basque wines. Can't wait!

Went for Mother’s Day brunch. Food, when it was there, was good. But, we made a 3:15 reservation for brunch but they started removing the food at 3:45 so we were unable to sample many of the offerings. That said, our server was awesome and apologetic. I’m intrigued enough to try it again...
