   Good overall. Just a few things with the food and the service that weren’t great. It felt busy as was it was Mother’s Day but for me that should mean the service and food should be even better. Won’t rush back.

   This was our first time eating at The Southern Gentleman. Our service was mixed but you could tell they were very busy and likely short staffed on such a busy weekend (Mother's Day weekend). We ordered the deviled eggs, fried green tomatoes, pork chop, and shrimp and grits. I love paprika and smoked paprika, but the deviled eggs were covered in so much smoked paprika that it really overpowered tasting anything else. The fried green tomatoes were just okay as well. The fry was a bit heavy and the seasoning in the batter - cinnamon and some other heavier seasonings. It was fine for the cool weekend but in the heat of summer, I would not want those flavors in the batter. The pimento cheese underneath was the star of dish - so delicious! The shrimp and grits were delicious albeit the shrimp were slightly overdone. The pork chop was tender and good though a bit short on excellent overall. My husband wished for a bit more of the cabbage/veggies underneath as it felt disproportionate to the size of the pork chop. We were too full for dessert. Overall, it was an okay meal. We will be back in the area in October, but I don't expect we will return to this restaurant.

   What a great dining experience in Buckhead! We had the fried green tomatoes, pork chops and sweet potato cornbread! Everything was delicious. The cocktails were good too! My wife and I will certainly be back and special Thank you to Curtis and the manager for the Peach cobblerish dessert. We really enjoyed the Southern Gentleman!

   Excellent dining experience the first time visiting Atlanta. Service, food and ambiance were 5 stars. We loved the fried chicken, little gem salad and fried green tomatoes.

   Our waiter was awesome. Friendly and very attentive. We were well taken care of. The food was also delicious! Everyone in our party enjoyed their food.

   What a wonderful dining experience, from the outstanding service to the pleasant atmosphere and the true southern culinary cooking! This restaurant did not miss a-beat. Delicious craft cocktails with Woodford Reserve Bourbon. Shannon, our wonderful waitress, anticipated our every need and was knowledgeable about the menu making the best suggestions. Chefs, DJ and Curtis, came out to meet us and discuss the cuisine and southern recipes which was a true treat we will always remember. The desserts are too good!! I cant wait to come back to Atlanta again and visit the Southern Gentleman and their Southern hospitality! If you want to choose a restaurant in the Buckhead area, this establishment has it going on full blast!!💥

   One of the most micromoles we've had in a long long time we need Atlanta and executive chef came out. It was so fantastic. What he was cooking what was involved he manager  also came. Did you reduce yourself to thank us for coming to Atlanta and the southern Gemma food was fantastic from the green tomatoes for the month pie desserts it was fantastic.

    Southern Gentleman was outstanding. We had some of the best friend chicken I have ever had and the pork belly was phenomenal. Try the Mississippi mud pie as well. So yummy!
