While the restaurant is quite nice, and the food was good, I encountered a patron that was rude and thought he was above anyone. Thus, I kindly reminded him that he didn’t own the place, let alone that he wasn’t any better than my party and I. However, that wasn’t enough, then the fool decided that he wanted to take things up a notch. Therefore, so did I. Eventually he left, but my issue was with the staff, as he should have been escorted out immediately. He was extremely rude, disrespectful, and problematic.

Not sure if I’ll return to dine there, rest assure I am not going to recommend anyone to this establishment.

The tiger shrimp and beef dumplings were delicious, definitely worth ordering both and sharing. My husbands whole branzino was boned and so delicious, what a wonderful way to serve it leaving you to totally enjoy without having to disect it. I real winner. Our friends both had the chirasi bowl and it looked very fresh generous. The barrel aged old fashions two of us had at the bar prior to dinner were also very good.

Great place for a weekend lunch. The brunch portions are small but not too small (8 tastes is more than enough for 2 people).

I️ was there to celebrate my birthday with my husband. He was very pleased me on the other hand , was pleased but expecting a similar menu from the Dallas location. I️ truly appreciate the freshness of our meal.

The staff could be a bit more personable. The environment is very comfortable but your staff did not make me feel very comfortable.

Went there for birthday dinner and they ran out of the duck which was the whole reason we were there. Then they said they ran out of the filet too I was like they're having problems tonight.. But they found a fillet so I ordered that- it was too spicy for my liking. I didn't realize both the steak and potatoes would have a bunch of jalapeños- ask to leave that off if you're sensitive to spice. Tuna tartare app was delicious as always. Call ahead if to reserve the duck if you want to order it! For reference we sat down at 8pm which doesn't seem super late in the night but oh well. They sent out free scallion bread rolls as an apology those were good as well.

Went for restaurant week and all the appetizers sounded so awesome that we decided to add an extra off the regular menu. Our server (Anton) suggested that we order the regular menu (larger sized) beef soup, which was a nice touch in service because not only did it offer more value for the money, but also it turned out to be our favorite dish of the meal, so we were glad to have extra! The "hot and numbing" catfish entree was also phenomenal, and per Anton's guidance, not too spicy as the title would have you believe. The miso glazed doughnuts and carrot cake were both tasty ways to round out the meal and offer very good flavor profiles.

My brother and I joined The Source die their restaurant week menu. And I would suggest the beef soup, catfish (soft, flavourful with a kick) and the miso glazed donuts! Unique to its taste that simply two was not enough.

The food was great as other times I have visited, as was the service. The only annoyance was two nearby tables taking flash photos of their food. Something I will never understand...

Appetizer and dessert were definitely better than the entree from the restaurant week menu. For appetizers we ordered the salmon and Taiwanese beef noodle soup, which were both delicious! For entree we opted for the chicken and pork chop. Pork chop was delicious but I wish it came with a side to balance out all that meat! As for the chicken, it was a tad dry. Dessert was by far the most amazing experience of the night. The 15 layer carrot cake was AMAZING! And the Miso glazed doughnuts were pretty awesome too!

Ingredients were fresh and very well prepared. Lovely presentation, with a good balance between minimalism and attention to detail. They could ease up a bit on the black pepper, which was so over-done on the fennel and pear salad that I could barely taste the delicate flavor of the two main ingredients. It could almost be called a Black Pepper, Fennel and Pear Salad. The rest of the meal was scrumptious, from the cabbage and chicken dumplings to the expertly cooked salmon and the shred-with-a-spoon spare ribs. Prix fixe option makes for a very reasonable price. Service was attentive and helpful, not overbearing and certainly not 'scripted'. Wine list offers great options by the glass.

The Saturday dim sum brunch is fantastic! Each dish is delicious and interesting - we loved the Impossible Dumplings, turnip cakes with pork and miso glazed donuts. Strangely, washing everything down with the best Bloody Mary just works. A great way to spend a cold winter afternoon with friends!

Delicious meal. Great service. Airy but not noisy space perfect for quiet conversation. The seating was a bit awkward for a business meal--a corner sofa/banquette, small that kind if cuddled us together and was slightly too far from a table that was too heavy to easily pull toward us. And I wish it were not quite so pricey. But I love the place anyway and will be back.

I’ve been here so many times so I figured it will be great but the service was poor because I had three people but was seated at a very small round table. Which made the dining experience very awkward and uncomfortable.

I had high hopes, but the Source did not not meet expectations.

There were a couple of minor issues with service (we were seated after someone who had later reservations than us and our server did not bring over a wine list with the menus, and was unattentive). The food was decent, but not for the price we paid. We had shumai and the beef noodle soup. The shumai had an odd texture that was off putting but the beef noodle soup was the hightlight of the meal. I was extremely disappointed in the fact that the parsnips were not cooked through and the dan dan noodles had no flavor. The baked alaska was okay but not flambe'd table side which was disappointing.

It was just a disappointing meal overall.

My sister and I went for lunch after visiting the Nat'l Gallery as the location is perfect - connected the the Newseum and it's very convenient parking. We shared a variety of appetizers as well as the duck entree - all were excellent. Even the "house" wine was suprisingly good. Our waiter was five star - courteous, well informed, present without being at all intrusive.
I highly recommend.
